How can I reset my settings to I only have to enter my password once as long as making purchases in the same session?

Before I got my new IPhone, when I purchased from ITunes store, I only had to enter my passcode once as long as I was not idle for more than 5 minutes. Now, when I try to purchase songs, each one I select requires me to re-enter my passcode. Very annoying. How do I reset this to my original setting of only having to enter it once?
Thanks for the help.

What do you currently have Settings > General > Restrictions > Require Password set to ? It has two options : 'Immediately' (so your password would need to be entered for every download), and '15 minutes' (you wouldn't need to re-enter your password for 15 minutes after entering it)

How can you reset your security questions if you have forgot them.?

You may find solutions if you look under More Like This at the right of this page. If not, this forum is for questions from those managing sites on iTunes U, Apple's service for colleges and universities to post educational material in the iTunes Store and hence not the best place to get assistance with this problem. You'll be most likely to get additional help with this issue if you ask in the general iTunes forums where this question has been asked and answered in a number of other threads.
    Regards.

  • How can i reset factory settings on imac running osx 10.5.8 without setup discs?

Hi, I just got my hands on my first Mac which is second hand and I want to wipe the hard drive clean and start a fresh.
The system I have is a iMac with a 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 4GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM running Mac OS X version 10.5.8.
How can I reset this Mac to factory settings as I didn't get the setup discs with the computer?

Phone Apple and order replacements, or if you don't need iLife, buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD from the online Apple Store.

  • How can i reset an ipad if if dont have the apple id

i just wanna find out how can i reset this ipad i just bought it from a guy and it ask for a password and he doesnt knoe it and i am not able to do it

With iOS 7, Find My iPhone includes a new feature called Activation Lock, which makes it difficult for anyone to use or sell stolen iPad.
With Activation Lock, the Apple ID and password of original owner will be required to:
    1. Turn off Find My iPhone on your device
    2. Erase your device
    3. Reactivate and use your device

  • After updating to ios 7, I am now asked to enter my password continuously when using outlook web access for my work emails. This didn't happen before, I only had to enter my password once. How can I fix this?

After updating to ios 7, I am now asked to enter my password continuously when accessing my emails on outlook web access. Before I just had to log in and I was able to reply, save emails, etc without re entering my password. How do I fix this?

Similar thing is happening to a relative.
He upgraded his iPhone 5 and lost his iCloud account and all his email accounts. Major pain in the neck for a senior. And it was not a user error...unless you count the fact that he hit the upgrade button.

  • How can I install Mountain Lion in a VMware fusion, if it came with my macbook pro, and not purchased through the app store?

I have Mountain Lion on my Macbook Pro with Retina but I want to install Mountain Lion in a VM for application testing. I try to install it from the recovery partition but it states that when I put in my apple ID, it states that it was not purchased through the App Store. My OS came with my Macbook. Is there anything that I can do to get it to install in a VM?
    Thanks

Not really. The license that comes with pre-installed OS is only for that Mac.
    A. Preinstalled and Single-Copy Apple Software License. Subject to the terms and conditions of this License, unless you obtained the Apple Software from the Mac App Store or under a volume license, maintenance or other written agreement from Apple, you are granted a limited, non- exclusive license to install, use and run one (1) copy of the Apple Software on a single Apple- branded computer at any one time. For example, these single-copy license terms apply to you if you obtained the Apple Software preinstalled on Apple-branded hardware.
    vs
    B. Mac App Store License. If you obtained a license for the Apple Software from the Mac App Store, then subject to the terms and conditions of this License and as permitted by the Mac App Store Usage Rules set forth in the App Store Terms and Conditions (http://www.apple.com/legal/ itunes/ww/) (“Usage Rules”), you are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license:
( i ) to download, install, use and run for personal, non-commercial use, one (1) copy of the Apple Software...
(ii) If you are a commercial enterprise or educational institution, to download, install, use and run one (1) copy of...and
(iii) to install, use and run up to two (2) additional copies or instances of the Apple Software within virtual operating system environments on each Mac Computer you own or control that is already running the Apple Software, for purposes of: (a) software development; (b) testing during software development; (c) using OS X Server; or (d) personal, non-commercial use.

  • How can I reset my iTunes ID from an old email to my new email account ID without having to close the old iTunes account?

I have 2 Apple IDs with an old iTunes ID and my newer Mac user ID.  How do I close out the old one that I used to set up my iTunes account several years ago without closing my iTunes account?
    Thank you!

The Apple Store will do this for you.
You can call Apple support and they will walk you through it.
You can type "Move itunes library from pc to mac" into the google search bar.

  • How can I reset my passcode, when I dont have the original code?

My nieces were playing with Siri/phone and accidently set up a passcode on my phone, I can't unlock or open etc. Apple is no help at this moment.
Tried troubleshooting with iTunes, but an error message states the iPhone can not be syncked because passcode is locked.,

The easiest solution and apparently the only approved solution via Apple (although a pain if you haven't backed up your device) to restore the phone if you can't figure out the passcode. It will erase everything but if you have a fairly recent backup then you will be fine...you may only lose anything that was added after the last backup. You can also try searching the Apple Support pages and forum to see if there is another solution. Ultimately, it's a plus to a certain degree that there is no easy way to change the passcode....if someone "found" it and wanted to try to get in to it....but it's a pain when it's a situation like yours.

  • How can it be secure when I did not have to enter the Sync Key on my synced device

I have just set up Firefox Sync for v6.0.1 on my new Lenovo Laptop to sync all bookmarks, passwords etc from my old Lenovo Laptop.
When I set up the account using my old laptop I was given a Sync Key which I stored on my old laptop.
I then went to my new laptop to enter it as a device. I was given 3 sets of numbers to copy into my old device, which I did. The sync then went ahead successfully, but the new device was never given the Sync Key. So how could it decrypt all the sync'ed information? I can only presume that the sync is not secure, and that it was never encrypted during sync'ing. I not also that my password manager on my new device was not secured with a Master Password, so the passwords must have all been transferred in the clear. This is dreadful if this is really the case

You should be able to add a device by opening the Firefox Mobile preferences and then scrolling to the Sync section. Press the connect button and you will get a 12 character pass phrase. On your desktop open the options window and then the Sync tab then use the add a device button to enter the 12 character code from your mobile.
If you are not near your computer you will need the Sync Key that was given to you when setting up Sync.

  • How can i get mountain lion if i only have 10.5.8?

Do i need to bay snow leopard first to get mountain lion? I'm sorry if my english suck

You also need to make sure that your computer can handle it: please see this page and checkthe 'Supported models' section.
    http://www.apple.com/osx/specs/
If your Mac is not listed there you won't be able to run Mountain Lion.
If it is able to run it you will first need to buy Snow Leopard: this is no longer sold in the Apple Store but if you ring the Store for your country you may be able to buy it that way.

  • How can I display a compilation album as one album rather than as separate songs? (each different artist shows with the same album art)

I want a compilation album, consisting of different artists, to all be included within the one album folder.  Currently when scrolling through my ipod classic each artist has its own album folder, even though they originate from the same album e.g. "The Best Rock 'n' Roll Album in the World Ever" consists of two discs (50 songs).  Each artist's song shows as a 'separate album' of one song, each with the same album artwork.  I want all of those on Disc 1 to be under one album cover and similarly for those on Disc 2.

Select all the tracks on disc 1 and via Get Info, change the Album Artist to Various Artists and turn on the compilation flag. This is iTunes 12:
    Then repeat for disc 2.
