If you purchased all of the songs through itunes store, please follow these steps:
1. Open up Itunes and Click on Itunes Store
2. Once you're in the Itunes Store look to right side of the screen and you should see the word "purchased". Click purchased and you'll be sent to a purchase screen.
3. Click on "All Songs" and then it will show all the songs you've downloaded. From there you just hit the button that looks like a cloud with an arrow on it, and it will download all the songs all over again.

Did you also empty the trash can? If you did not empty the trash, then likely mail moved the messages to the trash folder on GMAIL.

I have saved all my datas of my old iphone on itunes and icloud. I got a new phone 4s that I connected to itunes in order to load it and sync with my old datas. but I don't konw how but when itunes sync my new iphone i did not take my old datas. at the end of the sync process, I got an iphone totally virgin, but none of my previous apps, neither contact neither calendar neither anything. what happened? did itunes erased all my previous datas?? i hope not but if it's the case, can I recuperate my old datas through icloud? please help because as a lot of us, all my life is in this iphone.. Somebody deleted a string of text messages from my iPhone 5 and I want to know if they can be retrieved and if so how? I'm new to the iPhone as this is my first apple product. I am still not even sure on how to use my iTunes and so forth. Please help as the string of messages was very important!! Thank you so very much!! Tracy

SMS text messages are backed up with the iPhone - whether it's locally or to iCloud. If you've already written over the backup that had them (as in, backed up after the delete) then they're gone.
If you still have a backup available from a time where you had the messages on your iPhone, all you have to do is erase the iPhone and restore from that backup.
"Retrieve deleted messages from iPhone" is simple as pie.

How can I move my old messages from my PC to my new Macbook (not the profile, just the messages)?

I have used Thunderbird for years as I am a business owner who needs to keep a copy of old emails. I have just changed from a PC to a Macbook pro, and want to move all my old archived messages from the past 2 or 3 years to my Mac, including non-archived messages (Sent & Trash) from this year. I have already created my profile in the new Mac, and have been using it for the past couple of weeks. (By the way, this is a POP mail profile.) Now I just want to move the old messages over. Which exact files do I copy and paste, and into which folders? If the folders do not yet exist, I guess I need to create them first. But where on the Mac? I have found (on my old PC) the "Appdata/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/*.default/Mail/username/ directory with Archives and Trash subdirectories. But each directory seems to have a name (like "Inbox", or "Sent" or "2013") and another file with the same name, but an ".msf" suffix (like "Inbox.msf" or "Sent.msf" or "2013.msf"). Thanks in advance to any who can help.

The file structure is a little complex. I will use inbox as an example.
Inbox (a large file with no file extension)
Inbox.msf ( An index of inbox with tags etc. Can be deleted with only loss of tags)
Inbox.sdb (a folder, indicating that the folder within Thunderbird has a sub folder.
POP mail is stored in
Appdata/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/*.default/Mail/[Server name]/
Local folder is stored in
Appdata/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/*.default/Mail/Local Folders/
As long as you do not overwrite, you can copy and paste whole folder trees into local folders (stuff on your old computer under a mail account is best relocated to local folder and then sorted as necessary afterwards.
Note that you should delete foldertree.json after making those sorts of copies (it forces a full refresh of the folder tree, no cache) and under no circumstances copy data with Thunderbird running. It can irrevocably corrupt things

Hi hopscotch,
Log into the iTunes store and do a search to find your previously purchased items. Click the "Buy" button, and put in the same iTunes id and password that you originally used to purchase. A dialogue box will come up indicating that you have already purchased this item and do you want to download it again for free....
Say yes, and it will be re-downloaded to your Mac.

How can I retrieve my old back ups?

I was having a probelm with my Iphone today and it wouldn't back up via icload, so i backed up to labtop and it gave me an error and couldn't send backup. it asked me to reset, so i did and it reset to a 4 month ago version. how can i see my last back up a week ago.

These are some of the stuff that are backed up to iCloud; you cannot selectively restore them.
You have to restore everything even if you only need a few photos or documents.
