How can I run 12 Apple tv's off one itunes library?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had a solution for running 12 apple tv's off one itunes.
We have recently setup a system with 12 1st gen apple tv's. After purchasing them we found there was a maximum restriction of having 5 Synced and 5 Streaming apple tv's per instance of itunes. The synced ones are set to not actually sync any content, but can however still access all of the itunes content as long as thec omputer is on. So essentiality they are all 'streaming', we never intended to store content on the apple tv's. As soon as you try to add an 11th apple tv to the itunes, one of the other apple tv's (at random) will no longer be able to access the computer running itunes and gets 'kicked off'. Has anyone done this and is there a way around it? I had thought of trying to run 2 instances of itunes pointed at the same library, with half of the apple tvs paired with each instance, but that doesn’t seam possible?
The new apple tv's use home sharing, does anyone know how many 2nd gen apple tv's can run off one itunes simultaneously?

I haven't been able to verify it because I only have 3 Apple TV 2's, but it's generally assumed there is also a limit of 5 devices for homesharing too.

AAC is Advanced Audio Coding. Basically it's a format that sounds better than MP3 but doesn't take up as much space as a lossless format (like you'd have on a CD). More than likely you've had that encoding turned on when you ripped your music into itunes (it's the default encoder). Therefore your LG phone won't play them.
You need to turn off the AAC format by going to the iTunes menu, Preferences, General (at the top), then clicking the "Import Preferences" button. Change the AAC Encoder to MP3 Encoder. After that you'll have to make MP3 copies of your songs by right clicking them and selecting "Create MP3 Version." You'll get a copy of the song that should transfer to your SD card and have MP3 encoding. Hopefully your phone will play that.

Is the new iTunes library on a different computer, or the same computer?
Are you concerned about photos that you have taken with the iPhone in the Camera Roll, or photos you have synced to the iPhone from your computer?
Contacts should be configured to sync with an app on your computer. You set this up in iTunes on the Info tab with the iPhone connected. You will not lose any contacts if the app on your computer has at least one contact.

Just google it, there are lots of third party softwares that allows you to transfer data between your iPhone and your computer like iFunbox (which is free). You can transfer photos, app data, videos and other stuff. If you wan't to transfer photos though, you can use iCloud Photo Stream and download iCloud Control Panel for Windows and Mac. With it you can also view notes that you made from iPhone and transferred wirelessly through iCloud servers.

If you are streaming from both pc's at the same time your network needs to shift twice as much information as before, the slowest network which would likely be an all wifi g network should easily cope with 2 tv's, but in circumstances where there is already quite a few other devices using the network, distances are quite large and interference might be a factor, the added throughput from a second tv might begin to push things to the limit.
Don't let me put you off, as I say 2 tv's shouldn't be a problem for most networks, I just didn't want you unaware that you should think about whether your network is already stretched or not.

I'm just tired of waiting on this inept device and it's underserved iTunes counterpart being unable to deliver enough bandwidth to load a show within a reasonable amount of time. I'm a big Apple fan and an equally big critic. This whole rig is a big FAIL so far, Apple. There is nothing ON DEMAND about the iTunes Store at this point. Netflix and YouTube work better on Apple TV than their own iTunes Store! And, this has been going on for a few years now, unremedied, and is only getting worse with more people buying these devices! SO, ATTENTION: EVERYONE WITH AN APPLE TV: If you have this same issue with iTunes Store not properly serving your paid content, do not hesitate to ask for your money back. It's the least they can do for the amount of life wasted waiting for a show to load. Not to mention, all the disappointments with the kids at bedtime and when my wife and I want to just relax and turn something on.

Like I say, with me and many others on this forum, the problem lies solely with iTunes Store. Youtube, Netflix, Podcasts and everything else generally serve up just fine. The iTunes Store, however, is a consistent failure. Something that seems unusual for Apple not to address, being so customer-centric and all.

No.
AppleTV can only hold a copy of what is in an iTunes library.
It doesn't run iTunes itself and can't share it's content with iTunes on computers.

Lots.
AppleTV syncs are one way from iTunes. You can't get media off it again without unauthorised hacks or dismantling.
It's not a backup.
It's not an iTunes server.
If you delete your content from iTunes, then next sync it'll all wipe from AppleTV.
In theory you could sync stuff to AppleTV and just use it alone without iTunes but you'd have to not start itunes or risk deletion, and you migt have occasional authorisation issues with protected media.
If you're short of drive space consider an external for the computer.

The problem is probably that the index is corrupt and you need to completely re-create it rather than rebuilding individual mailboxes. I have no idea what the situation really is now after having tinkered with the contents of ~/Library/Mail/, though, so the following procedure may or may not work.
Verify/repair the startup disk (not just permissions), as described here:
The Repair functions of Disk Utility: what's it all about?
After having fixed all filesystem issues, if any, and making sure that there’s enough space available on the startup disk (a few GB, plus the space needed to make a backup copy of the Mail folder), try this:
1. Quit Mail if it’s running.
2. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Mail/. Make a backup copy of this folder, just in case something goes wrong -- e.g. by dragging it to the Desktop while holding the Option (Alt) key down.
3. Locate Envelope Index and move it to the Trash. If you see an Envelope Index-journal file there, delete it as well.
4. Open Mail. It will tell you that your mail needs to be “imported”. Click Continue and Mail will proceed to re-create Envelope Index -- Mail says it’s “importing”, but it just re-creates the index if the mailboxes are already in Mail 2.x format.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder, i.e. ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder.

Only iTunes running on a computer can be authorized to use more than one Apple ID. I don't know what the limit is if there is one.
iOS devices* can only be configured to use one Apple ID for use with the iTunes Store. (However, a separate Apple ID can be used for iCloud services like mail, calendar, contacts etc., but that is a separate issue.)
Home Sharing can only be configured to use one Apple ID at a time so if you want to use Home Sharing to connect an iOS device to an iTunes library or to connect multiple computers to an iTunes library you can only do it with one Apple ID.
So, with all that in mind, yes you can create separate Apple IDs for everyone but it will affect what you can do with the apps and media you purchase from iTunes. If everyone shares a family account then there will be no restriction on who can play, install or share the media or apps. If you create separate accounts there will be restrictions on what can be shared or installed on the various devices.
A family will benefit from sharing a family account that everyone has access to. If you have parental concerns about restricting access to certain apps/media for younger children than a separate account shared by the children may be the answer.
*iOS devices are iPod Touchs, iPads, iPhones and Apple TVs.

How can I sync my ipod touch my old itunes library?

I had orginially synched my itunes library on my work laptop(macbook pro). Now I have changed jobs I would like to synch my ipod touch onto my home laptop (Dell Windows). However, I have already got an itunes library on my home machine (only ten or so songs). I don't want this library anymore, I want to synch the tunes I have got on my ipod touch. I have some purchased tunes but mostly they are from my own CD collection. I also have loads of apps and photos/videos on my itouch. As well as this I need to upgrade my ipod touch to iOS 5.
So...I don't think I can transfer my tunes, apps, photos/videos from my ipod touch to my home computer's itunes library and therefore cannot upgrade my ipod touch to iOS5.
Can anybody help me find a way to transfer my ipod content onto my home laptop? All my content is purchsed from CDs, Appstore, itunes or my own photo video collection.

When we first purchase apple products (me and hubby!) we used one apple id account and i downloaded all our music and purchased a lot more. Since then i have purchased my own iPhone and set it up with a different apple id - trouble is i cannot access any of the music When i tried to sync with our mac all that happened is that our messages, contacts, emails, photos, notes and diaries etc all transferred and became a right pickle - we kept getting each others texts?!
