you can't use Flash video players on iPad.
youtube probably detects the device and if it doesn't support flash plays the videos in HTML5

  • How can you view flash video on ipad

Is there an app that you can get that will let you watch flash video on your iPad? Since adobe flash is not supported on iPad

You can try one of the app/service combinations for playing Flash such as Skyfire , Puffin, or iSwifter. One of those might work for you, though they all have limitations and do not work with all Flash-based sites and services

Hi , i need to know if apple fixed the problem with the flash videos

Apple hasn't and won't, but some third-party applications in the App Store, such as Skyfire, can be used.

  • HT6074 How can I watch flash Videos with the ipad with safari?

I Have an iPad an I'll watch flash Videos with this. But there is no Flashplayer. Is there any Plugin?

There is no Flashplayer for any iOS device and there never will be. Flash is replaced on iOS devices by HTML5 which is a superior technology endorsed by both Apple and Microsoft as well as almost everyone else in the industry except Adobe.

  • How can I copy my video from ipad to PC

How can I store my ipad video into PC?

NO files larger that 500mb (which is **** near any video)  will not transfer!
    At: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
    It incorrectly state this:
"Windows XP cannot import video files larger than 500 MB using Camera and Scanner Wizard. You can transfer these files directly from your device by selecting them in My Computer and dragging or copying the movie files to your computer's hard drive."
Problem is that NO videos are shown as I open my ipad up in "My Computer", only photographs I have taken
THIS INSANE.  You put Hign Def Video camera on the IPAD and NO simple way to get the you home made videos of it?  Search this topic "transfer video from ipad to computer"  you get NO help.  the only responses are from people hocking there "computer programs that will do it"  or "apps" that transfer files.
Apple here is the reality. At this point, regarding computers, PC is King...get it?  We do not all have apple computers to go along with our ipads.  ... So incase i need to break it down for you....YOU NEED TO HAVE A EASY WAY TO REMOVE VIDEOS FROM AN IPAD TO A FREAKIN PC...
I am not sure what is most amazing:
-ipad designers not seeing this as a problem
-the lies at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 that discuss easy it is to simply open up "my computer" and drag an drop
-ignorant people responding to several other people with my same simple problem with stupid response like "so you want to put a video on your ipad, you do that thru itunes" or "gosh it's been a while since i did this but its real easy, i think..."
There are not even any you tube videos on the subject... Am I in Bizzaro World here????

  • How can I get flash video to work on ipad2 ?

I have ipad2 on order - then realised does not support flash. All our training videos are flash !!! Do I cancel order or can I get flash to run on ipad2

Flash is not supported on the iPad. There are some apps that take a flash video on a web page, send it to a server which converts it to a format suitable for the iPad, but these are somewhat iffy.

  • How can I get flash videos to play

When I bought this iPad I had no idea that I wouldn't be able to watch most of the videos I want to watch.  Is there any way to get flash without paying for a new web browser program?

    sarah165 wrote:
Can you name some apps that I have to buy?  I don't know where to start.
"Puffin" comes to mind.  I think it's only a couple of dollars, but I can tell you that you won't be happy with the Flash video that runs through this browser.  Too much overhead or something. It stutters and freezes.
Waste of time and money IMHO.
The "security" excuse is a bit thin.  Flash works great on my MBP and as far as I know, on all the the other Apple computers.  Jobs had decided that it will not be supported on the iPad, the iPhone, and the iTouch.
    Personally I could care less.

  • How can I see a video through a logo?

Hello, I've been searching on the internet about vectors and such but haven't found the solution. I need to make my own custom logo wich I did but my mistake was that I did it in photoshop and not in illustrator. The thing is that I vectorized the finished logo with vector magic desktop and so I have the ESF,SVF and JPG versions of the logo, but I don't know how to use the first two. I know that I can do this with the track matte key but that only works with titles and so this puts me in a black whole. Do I necessarily need illustrator to use the logo in premier? An example of what I'm trying to make is at the beginning of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Bp-2xMCgM8   . Any suggestions please?? I would really appreciate some help!!

I have a problem and I don't know why. I'm using track matte to matte alpha on some videos and the thing is that the psd file that I use to see the videos through only has it's effect on a few of them but the options are the same on each video. If I use a copy of the psd file and I put it on top of the first psd file but I cut the first one so that it won't be on top the effect works. The images explain better. Why is this happening?

  • How can I update flash player for iPad air 2

    HI
i I am trying to watch the Cricket online but it always ask me to update flash playe. What can I do?

There is not now nor ever been flash player for any iOS devices.
so there is nothing to update.
If you want to play flash video, you will have to download a browser that supports it such as puffin.

  • How can I transfer a video between iPads? I can see the video in a photo stream but it won't save to the new iPad.

I shot a video with the camera on an iPad and want to transfer a copy to a new iPad Mini to take advantage of the retina display.  I can see it in a photo stream, but it won't let save it to the new iPad.  The old iPad didn't have enough memory to work on an iMovie, so I need to get the video in the new iPad mini to put it in an iMovie project.

Okay, I figured out that Windows has "AutoPlay" settings which can automatically download photos and videos from a newly connected device, such as an iPad Mini.  I think I could open it in Windows Explorer too that way but the auto download solved my problem.

  • How can I play a video on iPad and still be able to record a voiceover

I know the question is a bit confusing... so here it is:
I am currently working on a brand activation where people watch a World Cup highlight, and then have the chance of recording their own commentary, then it gets posted to facebook and the more likes it gets blah blah blah.
On Chrome on android, we dont see to have a problem, the video plays within the microsite, and users can press the "record a commentary" button and they can record their voices while watching the video.
However, on iOS, as soon as you click the play button, the video plays "out" of the microsite, and it takes over the full screen. Which means there is no way that people can see our microsite while the video is playing, which means that they can not record their commentary.
I am not a developer, nor am I a programmer... so if someone can answer me in plain English why this is... and if there is a fix.
The only catch is that people all over the city will visit this microsite and have the chance to "record a commentary" so suggestions like buy this app or that app and install it on all the ipads that are going to use the microsite... well... thats impossible.
I am thinking out aloud here... but since it works on chrome on android... would it work on chrome for ipad? Currently it doesnt, but maybe my developers need to do something in the backend to make it work.
    Any suggestions would be great!

Yes, but just so you know, when you play a song from iTunes Match it is still downloaded to your iPad in the background.  If you download it from iTunes Match before playing it you can later swipe over the song title to delete it.  If you play it without downloading, it is stored in cache memory and cannot be deleted manually later without restoring your iPad.  Instead, these songs are automatically deleted as your iPad begins to run out of memory.

  • How can I display Flash Videos without any Flex application decoration

I develop a flv video player with Flex3 and have problems to
get rid of the application decoration (frame, border and the like)
that is part of a standard Flex application. My video player is
200px x 200px and I only wanna see what the video shows, so that
    the Flex application allocates 200px x 200px.
It is not clear to me if this can be reached through special
tags resp. attributes or if I have to do something in the CSS
    area.

copy and compile this one taken from www.theflexteam.com with
a couple of extra things, is that it?:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <mx:Application xmlns:mx="

    private function pauseVideo():void
    videoPod.pause();
