How can i see hidden characters for email passwords?
how can I see hidden characters for email passwords?
You can't. Under what circumstances are you hoping to see the characters? When you type them in? You do see each character as you type it in for a fraction of a second. But you can't see the whole thing.

How can I stop being harrased for keychain passwords
How can I stop being harassed for keychain passwords? All my key chain passwords and my login are the same. I am asked for address book, calendar, safari, mail, iMessage, just to name a few.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select
Change Settings for Keychain "login"
In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
From the menu bar, select
Keychain Access ▹ Preferences... ▹ First Aid
There are four checkboxes in the window that opens. Check all of them. if they're not already checked. Close the window.
Select
Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
from the menu bar and repair the keychain. Quit Keychain Access. -

How can I copy a screenshot for emailing?
I want to copy an image of the screen and include it in an emai. How can I do that?
My personal favorite is Command-Shift-4, which allows you to select a specific area of the screen to capture. The result is a .png file saved on the desktop with "Screen Shot" in the file name.
There are other options you can use too (and which you can enable or disable) by going into System Preferences, choosing Keyboard and then the Keyboard Shortcuts tab and then the Screen Shots option on the left. On the right you should see four options:
Shift-Command-3: Save picture of screen as a file
Control-Shift-Command-3: Copy picture of screen to clipboard
Shift-Command-4: Save picture of selected area as a file (my personal favorite )
Control-Shift-Command-4: Copy picture of selected area as a file

How can I bypass the requests for my password?
I'm on a Mac Pro 8 Core, running System 10.7.5. My dealer originally set it up (years ago) so that I simply had to hit the "return" key every time I was asked for a password and this worked fine. Then, when my Mac Mail went wrong and I went through Tech Support, they made me create a password for the Mail account.
I'm now afraid that, if I do anything to the password situation, it will mess up my Mail account once mkore.
Any advice?
Many thanks,
HarryHi Kappy,
Thank you very much for your reply.
I have indeed written down my Apple ID and, thanks to you, now understand that this is a completely separate item to my computer password, which I guess is really knows as an admin account password as you point out.
However, my question remains: how can I remove the need to enter my password when I start up my computer, or, alternatively, change it to (say) hitting the "return" key.
When I first bought this computer, my dealer set it up so that the password was the key "return" and also I did not have to "log in" when the computer started up.
Could you possibly find a moment to answer those questions? I'd be most grateful.
Best,
and thanks for your first response. Greatly appreciated. -
How can we see attendee tracking for meetings in a public calendar?
Good Day,
We have a Public Calendar that is used to create company wide meetings. When my enduser creates a meeting on this public calendar, he cannot see who has accepted or declined the meeting. He has access to the Tracking button in the Ribbon. Tracking
does show all who were invited. Tracking only shows "None" in the Response field.
I did some testing and when I attempted to create a meeting with attendees, I was met with the following alert pop up.
"This meeting is not in the Calendar folder for this account. Responses to this meeting will not be tallied."
How do we create meetings on the public calendar and be able to review attendee responses? This is MS Outlook 2013, and the exchange is MS 365. Also, I created a Calendar within the users account and was met with the same response.
Thank you,
Damon L. Morton
IT Services EngineerHi,
You meet the message because responses are only automatically processed when the meeting is in the default calendar. As mentioned, you are using a public calendar.
To workaround this problem in your scenario, you will need to track the response manually.
Open the meeting request and switch to the tracking page. Right click in the response field and choose the desired response.

How can I see planned values for services in PS reports?
Hi experts.
We are implementing PS for a mining company; in our process, project designers plan materials and services in networks and then get planned values for budget requests.
The problem I am facing is that I cannot see the planned values from services in the plan values reports. No value is exhibited for version 0 if I plan only services in a network. For materials planning I can visualize planned values normally. The network is not released. On example of planning values report that I am using is s_alr_87013533.
Does anyone know how to correct this problem with PS configuration?
Any help is welcome. Thanks!
Rafaelfor planning services I am assuming that you are using service activity
check if determine plan cost is set up in the network header
secondly make sure that the plan costing variant is set up with the valuation variant to define where to get the plan values from -
How can I see different results for alternate hierarchy?
I have an outline with an accounts dimension with the following members (amongst others):
Total Expenses
Exp1 +
Exp2 +
Exp3 +
Exp31 + (child of Exp3)
Exp32 + (child of Exp3)
Exp33 + (child of Exp3)
I also have another dimension, let's call it DIM, with the following primary and alternate hierarchies (shares upper levels with primary):
Primary
A
A1 +
A2 +
A3 +
B
B1 +
B2 +
B3 +
Alternate
A + (shared member)
B + (shared member)
I want to be able to do the following:
When I select something from the primary hieararchy, I want to see the original values in Exp31, Exp32 and Exp33. When I select a member from the alternate hierarchy, I want to see these 3 expenses zeroed out. Is this possible? I can't find a way to do this since the values for shared members are taken from primary members. Is there another way to do this?
Thanks for your help.
BelaI did think of creating an alternate hierarchy in the accounts dimension which excludes the expenses I do not want to include in the total, but I have 3 different categories of expenses I want to exclude depending on the members I'm viewing, so I'll have to create that many alternate hierarchies in accounts, each excluding a specific category of expenses.
If you have a brainwave, please let me know!

How can I see "access point" for "connection method" to use Bluetooth tethering?
I have been using WiFi tethering. However, as everybody knows, the battery of my Nexus 5 goes down so fast. Now I wish to use Bluetooth tethering. I updated my Nexus 5 to Android 5.0. I have a desktop PC, notebook PC and new Surface
Pro 3 all with Windows 8.1 Update. Up to pairing everything goes OK but when I click the "Nexus 5" graphic on the control panel, I could see only "direct connection" (no "access point"). Some website indicates "KB290440"
but it is not found in the history of update. I would therefore appreciate if somebody would kindly help me to use Bluetooth tethering.
By the way, the Windows system I am using is Japanese.
Thank you in advance.
Some website indicates "KB290440" but it is not found in the history of update.
That's the latest "servicing stack". I think it is optional. More significant I think would be whether you have the latest rollup, which is also optional, so far. E.g. at the top of View your update history see what you have for
"Most recent cumulative update: "
FWIW here is mine:
