How can I send photos in mail as attachments instead of in the body of the message?
I want to send photos as attachments to email instead of in the body of the message. I have searched through preferenced in both mail and iPhoto but can find nothing that lets me do this.
1. As Rysz says, Mail does send them as attachments. If seeing the preview is problematic for you, then right click on it in the Mail Message window and select 'Show as Icon'.
2. If you're worried about how they are received... Mail defaults to sending RTF email. A few older applications on other OSes have problems with these. A lot of users on other OSes can't figure out how to set their Mail applications to work with them. If that's the problem, use Plain Text as Larry says. -

I read that the cards app has been terminated but in the cancellation announcement, apple says to try iPhoto on Mac. I have a MacBook Pro, iPhone 4S and 3rd gen. iPad. Please check first transaction SCOT to find out if the message has been passed to the SMTP layer correctly. In the first screen of transaction SCOT go to Utilities -> Overview send orders. You should at least find your "order to send the overview" there. I guess you will find that there is a problem there. Most likely SAP was not able to convert the output on the mail node. Please let me know if what error you have found there.

When I try to print out an E-mail that is longer than one page, part of the 2nd page is truncated. I then have to go to Safari to print out the entire E-mail without part of it being truncated.
When I have multiple E-mail addresses on a single E-mail, how can I send the E-mail so that each recipient only sees his/her name and E-mail address rather than everyone else that the E-mail is addressed to?

Bill LeeteSome style rules that Firefox handles well on the screen can cause this problem. Many email sites have a print button which simplifies the message format and removes navigation elements, etc., and Firefox generally handles print-formatted pages better. If your email site doesn't have print-formatted pages or those do not print, a "hack" is to select the text you want to print and then choose the Selection option in the print dialog.
To hide email addresses from recipients, you need to place them in the BCC field. What do you put in the TO field in that case? You can use your own address. -

In my old iPhone3 I had these accounts set up so that I could send and receive email from both accounts. I did this using the following settings:

I’ve tried using the same settings in my new iPhone5, but it doesn’t work. I can receive mail to both accounts, and can send from the Yahoo account, but I cannot send mail from the alias account. When I try, it displays the message: “Cannot send mail. A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The recipient ‘[email protected]’ was rejected by the server”.
I’ve tried to configure the POP alias account using combinations of ‘pop.mail.yahoo.com’, ‘pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk’, ‘apple.pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk’ and ‘apple.pop.mail.yahoo.com’, for the incoming host, and ‘smtp.o2.co.uk’, ‘smtp.mail.yahoo.com’, ‘smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk’, ‘apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com’ and ‘apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk’ for the outgoing mail server. None of these have worked.
I’ve also tried setting it up using IMAP instead of POP without success. I tried configuring it using combinations of ‘imap.mail.yahoo.com’, ‘apple.imap.mail.yahoo.com’, ‘imap.mail.yahoo.co.uk’ and ‘apple.imap.mail.yahoo.co.uk’ for the incoming mail server and ‘smtp.o2.co.uk’, ‘smtp.mail.yahoo.com’, ‘smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk’, ‘apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com’ and ‘apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk’ for the outgoing mail server.
Yahoo say that if I can't send Yahoo! Mail from my mail program, I may be accessing the Internet through an ISP that is blocking the SMTP port, and that if this is the case, I should try setting the SMTP port number to 587 when sending email via Yahoo!'s SMTP server. I don't think that this is the problem, but I tried it just to make sure - without success.
I’ve also heard that the problem might have something to do with the SPF settings of my alias domain provider. I’m not too sure exactly what SPF settings are, or how to change them, but from what I can gather it seems unlikely that this is the problem given that I was able to send mail from my alias account on my old iPhone3.
Any help much appreciated: how can I get my alias account to send emails in iPhone5 mail?

PatrickA new development: I've tried sending emails from the alias several times over the past 24 hours, but in general I've deleted them if they haven't sent within about half an hour.
However, one of the messages I left sitting in the outbox did send successfully in the end, but this took about an hour.
So: perhaps my problem is not in fact that I am completely unable to send mail from my alias, but that I can only do so intermittently and extremely slowly, and by ignoring the "cannot send" message.

I have read read through forums and understood that it can be achieved either through workflow or through report using table edidd & edids.
If workflow option is used , does the mail trigger for every error idoc ? How can we send daily error report to user say by EOD containing all error idocs using all possible options.

I dont think so any direct Report will be available just to get Error IDOCs details. Although you can create a simple report to read the tables. An example is in below link.

Also, you can create a Query of EDIDC and EDIDS tables to obatin relevant information.

How can one send email-sized photo files as attachments in Apple Mail, without the photos appearing in the body of the email? If it can be done, it's not at all obvious, at least not to me. Thanks for any help you can provide.
The "View as icon" option shrinks the photo to an icon in the sender's Apple Mail, but how it appears to the recipient varies dependingy on what e-mail client he/she uses.
Using Apple Mail 5.0 (the Lion version) at both ends, the sender can use the "View as icon" option to shrink his view of the photo to an icon, but the recipient also using Apple Mail 5.0 still sees the full photo in line with the message text. The recipient can then use the "View as icon" option to shrink it to an icon, but I don't think that's not what jackofarabia is looking for.
As far as I know there is no way in the current Apple Mail to do what jackofarabia wants. There should be, but there isn't. -
