How can I stop Photoshop CS6 from unwelding imported 3d models?

Hello,
Photoshop has an issue right now in which when I import a 3d object (it doesn't matter which format, I've tried obj and cae) then it will split the object apart into multiple objects along where the borders of the uv map are (aka polyunweld). How do I stop it from doing that?

2. Then, after I provided further evidence, you said you would fix the problem.
3. Now you seem to be suggesting that the software was programmed to unweld meshes because it's "what a Photographer thinks makes sense".
It's easy to complain about on a forum, and if it is constructive that is fine but you seem to enjoy just complaining or insulting.
I complain about things at times. I'm insulting at times. But it's a fact that I'm helpful and constructive most of the time. Oh so sorry for not being the perfect contributor to this forum.

I wasn't talking about the problem in this thread. (Which you've denied exists, then admitted exists and will be fixed, and then suggested to be a design decision on behalf of photographers.)

The bug which still isn't fixed after 5 months, despite being acknowledged by Adobe, is one that was introduced by the OS X version of the 13.0.1 update. It makes the 3D rendering almost useless for OS X users and did not exist when customers paid $300 for the 3D rendering.

I save a lot of files to "save for web". After saving PS asks if I want to save changes to the original file. I never want to save the changes to the original. Since the default is to change the file I am afraid I will accidentally OK the change without wanting to. I would like it to stop asking and just not save it. Is there a way?

Then don't work on the original open the file using Photoshop menu file>open once its in Photoshop as a document dupe the document and close the original document. Photoshop will just close the original and not ask it you want to save the original document for no changes were made to it. You could easily record an action to automate this process. The first step in the action would be an inserted menu item menu File>Open. The second step Duplicate Document, third step select previous document the fourth and final step close. PSE isn't importing photos off the internet, but it could be importing photos from your hard drive that are being placed there as you browse the internet.
It's likely that you've told PSE to import all new photos on your hard drive using the Watched Folders mechanism.
In the Organizer, go to File > Watch Folders...
See the list of folders PSE is currently watching.
Check the setting near the bottom of the dialog as to what PSE should do when it finds new images in the folders it is watching.
Make any necessary changes to have it do what you want it to do.

I went through the process of clicking through the how to's and the troubleshooting and came to the conclusion that I need to install the adobe drive 5 but I can not complete the installation. I may be incorrect on this so I need immediate assistance as I have poster and ad deadlines. I also tried disabling the gatekeeper and solution 3 on the troubleshooting of slow saving on photoshop.

Are you attempting to save the file to a network location instead of your local hard drive? If so, this is probably why you are encountering an issue and why Adobe Drive would be the solution. As we've documented, it is a bad idea to open from or save directly to a network source: Networks, removable media | Photoshop | CS4 and later. Drive can help you get around this by setting up an Adobe supported virtual connection to the network. Thus, if installing Adobe Drive is the solution you need and your need help with installing Drive, please post to the Downloading, Installing, Setting Up forum.
If you are not saving to a network location, then Adobe Drive is not going to be the answer. Then we'll need to know more about the file you are saving.

Everything that you have checked in your icloud settings will be shared between devices using the same Apple ID. If you don't want icloud to share that information, then simply turn off that process under settings > icloud

This should always be set to zero unless a specific set of circumstances exist and you're audio drivers do not report position correctly.
On occasion, usually when importing a Logic 9 project, Logic-X randomly changes this to a negative/positive number. It's actually a bug in Logic, as it should always display the waveform.

You can deactivate the "auto search" by going to "Menu", "Software Update", "Configurations".
I know this can be annoying because I've uninstalled some preinstalled apps too.
