How can I tag my uploaded songs with META information

Hi,
I am able to give some META info to my podcasts I uploaded in the RSS file.
How can I give such meta Info to uploaded songs means they are distributed by iTunes store and available for downloads.
As I am going thru a record label not direct Apple iTunes client I am looking to do it thru a webservice or something similar, like the Podcast ping.

Spotlight
Takes some time for spotlight to index your drive before a spotlight search will work. For example you name a file with your job number, do a search, that may not come up until later.

Can you tag HD radio songs with an iPhone 4s?

I recently purchased a Alpine IVE 535 HD head unit. It says that song tagging is a feature. I keep getting "iPod memory full" when I connect my iPhone to the head unit. I was told by Alpine support that I need to go into iTunes and clear the existing tags out. When I connect my phone to the computer's iTunes, I see no tag folder of any kind. Does anyone know if this feature is possible on the iPhone 4S or am I just looking in the wrong place?

Thanks for the link but unfortunately it didn't help. Although I did follow the instructions on the link but without success, I noticed that the link spoke of the iPod nano (5th generation). I'm wondering if the tagging feature isn't available for the iphone 4s. I bet it is but something just isnt right.

I cannot purchase anything because I forgot the answers to my security questions. How can I continue to purchase songs with my account?

I tried buying a song off of iTunes and I have the right password, however it is asking for the answers to my security questions. I don't remember them and I was wondering if I was going to be able to continue and purchase the song

You need to contact Apple to get the questions reset. Click here, phone them, and ask for the Account Security team, or fill out and submit this form.

How can I copy my iTunes library with playcount information to a new computer?!?

Hello,
I'm about to get a new computer. I have all my music on a external HD, so I won't have problems preserving my music. But I would like to preserve other information too. Especially the play count information. I think it's interesting how my top 25-most-played looks like, and the play count list I have now, took me 2 years to get.
So my question is: Does anyone know how I can copy my iTunes library with all its information (play count, rating, comments, images, last played date etc.) to a new computer?

Connect the external HDD to the iMac, launch iTunes while holding down the Option key. Choose the option to select library and navigate to the top level folder of the iTunes media on the external. Select it and click OK.

When you say "account," do you mean your iTunes library, because your iTunes library is what is on your computer? Your iTunes library does not have an email address. An account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID (which is an email address) and you use it as your user name to sign in to the iTunes Store, to make purchases. Changing your Apple ID will not make songs disappear from your computer's iTunes library.
If you had an Apple ID and used it to make song purchases from the iTunes Store, and then started using a different Apple ID, you should be able to re-download the songs purchased with the old Apple ID. In iTunes, sign in to the iTunes Store using your OLD Apple ID (and password). That may not be your current email address, but Apple uses it as your user name, so it does not matter.
On the iTunes Store Home screen, click on Purchased under QUICK LINKS. This takes you do the Purchased screen, where you can re-download previous song purchases (for that Apple ID) at no cost.
NOTE: If those song purchases are from more than a few years ago, you may also need to authorize your computer to play (and sync) songs for your old Apple ID.
For songs that were not purchased from the iTunes Store, if they are also gone, you cannot get them back unless you have a backup (or they are still loaded on your old iPod).
If that's not what you mean by "changed the email address on my account," please post back with more details.

Thank you so much for providing the details about the duplicate song issue you are experiencing. It sounds like you would like to remove the duplicate songs that will not play on your iPhone, but when you connect it to iTunes, iTunes only shows you one copy of the song on your iPhone.
In this situation, I recommend deleting the individual songs that do not play directly from your iPhone. I found the steps to do this on page 61 of the iPhone User Guide (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf):
Delete a song from iPhone: In Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete.

I've update my music using an external disk; now I uploaded agin the music but it doesn't appear in Itunes. How can I synchronize the music folder with Itunes?

That's what I'm confused about. I did exactly what you said. I copied the entire music folder from the old computer and put it in the music folder on the new computer. I've tried that two or three times now. And, I've checked, and all of the files are there (that's what I meant by 'clicking on Itunes Media'--when I click on the iTunes media folder in music/itunes in Finder, all of the files are there). But, when I open iTunes, nothing shows up--no movies, no music, no tv shows. It seems like it should be so simple, but it won't work for me.
Any ideas?

1. Update iTunes to the latest version. Plug in your iPod. If iTunes still can't recognize it, then in iTunes in the top left corner click help> run diagnostics. On the box that comes up, check the last two things. Click next and it should identify your iPod.
2. Click on your windows start menu. Type in "services". Click on it and when it pops up, on the bottom of it click on "standard". Now Scroll down to find "Apple Mobile Device" Right click it when you see it and click on "Start". When it has started, close iTunes and replug in your iPod and it should show up.
3. Check the USB cable
4 Verify that Apple Mobile Device Support is installed
5. Restart the Apple Mobile Device Service and verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed.
6. If you just want to add some photos, songs and movies from computer to your devices, you can use an iTunes alternative to do the job
7. Check for third-party software conflicts.

Just email it.
In iTunes, drag the file to the desktop.
On the desktop, select the file right click Share > email.
I just want to send my sister one song from my iTunes because its a recording of her daughter when she was 2. She no longer has the file and I only have it saved in my iTunes from a long ago. The only known file is the one I have saved on iTunes.

Why not try syncing a smart playlist that updates automatically every time you sync your iPod?
Try something like this:
1. Pull down File > New Smart Playlist;
2. Playlist IS Music; click the plus button;
3. Last Played IS NOT in the last 90 days;
4. Select the option to Limit to xxx items selected by Random and click OK.
Name the playlist that is created something distinctive then sync you iPod with that. It will automatically update based on the last played dates of a tune and you'll always have fresh content on your iPod. Modify the playlist as needed to make it give you the results you want.

How can I make MUSE upload one png that it overlooks? Cache cleared & shows in Preview

MUSE uploads everything to BC except an inport png. I cleared the cache, it shows inPreview, no conflicts noted in Assets and the Browser reflects any other changes I make to the page. The space for the image is missing online and the entire page moves up to fill the space

Thanks for getting back. I had a deadline so I gave-up trying to make that (great) extracted image work and deleted it from my system -frustration. For what its worth, MUSE displayed the png in Design/ Preview/ Plan & provided an empty space for it when published. Besides this quirk, MUSE has been a great.

If these are videos taken with your iPad, you can only add them to iCloud by adding them to a shared stream, as discussed here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99.
If these were movies purchased from the iTunes store, they are already in iCloud and can be redownloaded again in many countries for free as long as the movie is still available and the studio allows it. See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 and iTunes in the cloud availability by country here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085.
To be safe, import them to your iTunes library so you know you have them. To do this, connect your iPad to your computer, open iTuens and go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. Then you can sync them back to your iPad later if you ever need to.
