I got an old phone 3g now I want to transfer my pictures and others to my new cellphone just newly bought apple 15s 16GB gold lte. I tried following the steps written in by the sales representative but I cannot find the find the things she instructed me, I went back a while ago in the store but they said they are not allowed to do it for me, I am not much knowledgeable in computer but hopefully you could help me because they said I just need to contact apple company. I did copy myself my old phone directories from the old phone but my problem is the pictures only, I need my old pictures medically, its special daughters medical pictures which I need to transfer from my old cp to my new cp and send my old cp to my mother for her to use to have communication with her.

Back up your old phone using iTunes, then restore that backup to the new phone using iTunes. Read the manual.

Lors du passage à Maveicks, j'ai basculé sur Thunderbird car je ne souhaitais pas utiliser POP mais Mail ne le permettait pas (du moins je n'ai pas réussi)
Aujourd'hui, je souhaite revenir sur Mail et, pour celà, je dois rapatrier toutes mes données de messagerie depuis Thunderbird.
J'utilise Imap et, pour gérer ma messagerie, j'ai créé des boîtes aux lettres dans Local Folsders
Le passage par Eudora ne fonctionne pas avec Mavericks.
L'import de boîtes aux lettres depuis Local Folders de Thunderbird (via le menu Fichier) ne permet de transférer qu'un seul courier par boîte aux lettres de Local Folders. Et c'est ce qui m'empêche de passer à Mail.

Assuming you haven't already set up a user, the easiest way is to use the Setup Assistant during first boot of the new Mac, with the two Macs connected by firewire.
You'll be prompted to migrate from a choice of sources - choose "from another Mac", select the catagories of data you want to transfer and follow the instructions.

How can I delete an old file from my library on iTunes

Occasionally I have to replace PDF manuals with ones that have been updated. But after I sync the new file the old one remains on my Mac itunes library. How can I delete the old file? So far all I do is deselect the old file but it's still there. Sooner or later there will be more old files then current ones making it hard to manage.

You can do this with or without the iPad connected to your Mac.
Launch iTunes on the Mac. Click on Books under the Library heading. Click on the PDFs. Then click on the PDF that you want to delete in order to select it, and go to Edit>Delete and follow the on screen prompts.
if you are using iTunes 11 and do not have the sidebar enabled, and wish to do so, go to View>Show sidebar or use the keyboard shortcut OPTION+Command+S.
If you do not want to enable the sidebar, the library items can be accessed in the button in the upper left corner of the iTunes window.

Some of it is on the SD card which the new phone will not see, except for the photos. hello Lawrence1559, firefox does save all your bookmarks, settings and customizations into the so called [[Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data|profile folder]] .
<br>you can copy the whole profile folder on your win xp computer like this:
* press the windows-key+R and open: ''%appdata%\''
* a windows explorer windows will open up with a folder named ''Mozilla'' in it - right-click and copy that folder and paste it onto a usb drive or any other way you can transfer it to your new computer.
* on the windows 7 pc, repeat the windows-key+R shortcut and open: ''%appdata%\'' again.
*copy the Mozilla folder from your backup into the %appdata% folder of your new pc.
*you can now download and install firefox from getfirefox.com and should have the exact same setup as on your prior pc afterwards.

And I want to transfer this mp3 files from iPad to MacBook Pro.
I don't know how to do it and it seems like I should 'buy some tranfer program from other website'.
Should it word that way? or iTunes program can't deal this issue?
I have changed some music file information (such as Album, Artist, etc) of mp3 files in iPad from iTune in MacBook. Of course, the iPad was connected to the MacBook. However after I disconnected the iPad from the Mac, those changes were not shown in the iPad (edited album name, artist name...). When I connect the iPad to the Mac again, I can see the changes in iTune in the Mac.

The sync is one way - computer to iphone. The exception is itunes purchases: File>Transfer Purchases.
It has always been very basic to always maintan a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion. Use your backup copy of your computer to put everything back.

Non-iTunes purchases cannot be transferred from an iDevice to computer via iTunes.
The simplest solution is to simply move the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer. Why anyone would choose to make life more difficult by screwing around with transferring purchases from an iDevice and using 3rd party software to extract non-iTunes purchases is beyond me.
IF for some reason there is no backup of the old computer and/or the old computer is no longer accessible, then try google for solutions.
Do yourself a favor going forward, backup your media and other important data.
