How can I transfer my purchases from one Apple ID to another?

I would like to consolidate all my wife's and my purchases into one existing Apple ID on our computer so we can share apps, music, books, etc.
I spoke with your Support Team who said this was possible if completing a particular form and requesting this formally with specific accounts and list of desired transfered purchases.
Do anyone know where this form is and has anyone been successful in doing it?

How about transferring total ownership of apple id?

Apps purchased by an Apple ID are forever associated with that ID.    Purchases can't be transfers to another Apple ID.

This is not possible... Anything Obtained with a Particular ID is tied to that ID...

I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

  • I can't transfer a purchase from one apple ID to another?

OK, so I have my apple ID and then my friend and I have one that we share. Well, I bought a movie on the ID that we share but I couldn't download it to my phonne because I don't have enough room. However, I would still like it in my iTunes. I am signed into my personal iTunes account because I had the majority of my music on there. How can I get the movie to transfer from our joint account to my personal account without it being on my phone? I tried clicking transfer purchases and it transfered some of the other movies we have on the account which werent on my phone, but it won't download the one I want.

Any purchase is permanently attached to the ID it was purchased with (or gifted to if it was a gift). Sign in to the account you want to download from then go to the iTunes Store home page > Quick Links > Purchased > Movies > Not on this computer and download.

    Hi,
I have all my iTunes purchases (music, apps etc) under an Apple ID that I have been using for work purposes. I have now invested in a MAC at home and created a new Apple ID for home use. Is there a way of transferring my purchases from my work Apple ID to my home Apple ID?
    Thanks, Paz

  • How do I transfer music purchases from one apple id to another

I purchased music from Itunes years ago with an old apple id and old email address.  I am trying to play that music in my Itunes on my Dell Win7 laptop that uses a new apple id, and though the computer is authorized, it is authorized under the new apple id.  When I try to play the music, a box with the old apple id comes up, asking for a password.  I click 'Forgot' and am taken to a new screen that asks for my date of birth.  I enter it, and I get a big red message that this does not match there records.
I know the old apple id, but not the password, and the email address that was used for that apple id is no longer a valid email address for me.  The FAQ indicate that I should be able to authorize the music for multiple apple id's, but it does not say 'how'.
I tried changing the apple id and password to the new one when I tried to play the music, and nothing happened.  I can play the music that I added to itunes from cd's but not the purchased music.
I don't think this matters, but just in case it does:  I have a new iphone 6 that is authorized for my new apple id, but my issue right now is authorizing music on my laptop.  I'll tackle syncing the iphone with itunes on my laptop next.

You can’t. Click here and ask the iTunes Store staff for assistance.

  • Can I transfer calendar data from one Apple ID to another?

Just realized that my calendars and email were all sharing one Apple ID with my husband which is problematic because I want my own devices syncing up properly. I've set up my own Apple ID, but before I activate it on my devices I want to be sure I don't lose all the data. Can I transfer a calendar from one Apple ID to another and if so, can I do this from the devices themselves or do I need my desktop?
I've read some earlier related posts and they don't seem to answer this question clearly for me.
    Thanks so much!

You will probably need to do this on your Mac; I'm not sure it's possible on an iPhone. You have to deal with one calendar at a time.
Select a calendar listed under your husbands iCloud login name.
From the File menu choose Export...>Export. An .ics file will be saved at your designated destination.
Repeat this for any other calendars.
Sign out in System Preferences>iCloud and sign in with your own ID. Your calendars and other data will disappear from your Mac but not from the server.
From the File menu choose 'New Calendar' then your iCloud login name in the sub menu.
A new calendar called 'Untitled' will appear in your sidebar under your iCloud login name. Change its name to that of the calendar you exported.
From the File menu choose 'Import...' then 'Import...' from the sub-menu. A navigation pane will open: navigate to and choose your exported .ics file.
iCal will ask you where to import this to. Click the drop-down menu and select the iCloud version of your calendar (make sure not to choose the 'On My Mac' version). Import.
Your calendar contents will appear in the iCloud version of the calendar but this may take some time. You need to leave iCal running until the rotating icon at the top of the sidebar disappears.
    Repeat 5-9 for other calendars.

  • How can I transfer apps purchased from one AppleId to another due to breach of account?

Due to a recent security breach not if my doing a user stole my apple id and needed to change appleid account.  Now as a result i've lost all purchased apps from the itune store. I would like to transfer apps from one apple id to another without incurring additional costs.  With sufficient information in direct contact with the store I should be able to transferable within the software or at very least with the itune store direct.  Perhaps this is a way of charging additional costs for same programs?
Not a happy camper because of the theft in id but now to add insult to injury i'll have to repurchase the apps to properly sync with my devices.
    Any help would be appreciated

You can't transfer iTunes content from one account to another. If someone had obtained access to your account credentials and you've had the account locked that should not affect the current authorizations on your computer, though it will prevent you from updating apps until you have resolved the issue. Rather than creating a new AppleID what you should do is regain control of your original Apple ID and have it reenabled with a new password, get, if possible, Apple to deauthorize all computers for your account (assuming you don't have 5 so can't do it yourself) then authorize your computers.

  • How can I transfer iPhoto files from one admin user to another on the same Mac?

i created a new admin user on my computer, so now my husband has one and so do i. how can i transfer our iphoto files from his admin user to mine as a shared file? i was able to do this with itunes easily but i am not able to do it with iphoto.

You want to share the Library?
For iPhoto 09 (version 8.0.2) and later:
    What you mean by 'share'.
If you want the other user to be able to see the pics, but not add to, change or alter your library, then enable Sharing in your iPhoto (Preferences -> Sharing), leave iPhoto running and use Fast User Switching to open the other account. In that account, enable 'Look For Shared Libraries'. Your Library will appear in the other source pane.
Any user can drag a pic from the Shared Library to their own in the iPhoto Window.
Remember iPhoto must be running in both accounts for this to work.
If you want the other user to have the same access to the library as you: to be able to add, edit, organise, keyword etc.
Quit iPhoto in both accounts. Move the Library to the Users / Shared Folder
(You can also use an external HD set to ignore permissions, a Disk Image or even partition your Hard Disk.)
In each account in turn: Double click on the Library to open it. (You may be asked to repair the Library Permissions.) From that point on, this will be the default library location. Both accounts will have full access to the library, in fact, both accounts will 'own' it.
However, there is a catch with this system and it is a significant one. iPhoto is not a multi-user app., it does not have the code to negotiate two users simultaneously writing to the database, and trying will cause db corruption. So only one user at a time, and back up, back up back up.

  • Can i transfer redeemed credit from one apple id to another?

I set up a new apple id on my new ipod touch, forgetting that I already have an apple id with all my old music on.
Before i realised this, I had already redeemed £45 worth of credit on to my new apple id.
What I would like to do is delete my new account, but at the same time transfer the credit I haven't yet used to my old apple id.
Is this in anyway possible? I am not particularly bothered about losing a few songs i purchased with my new apple id, so long as I can retain the credit I have left.
Also to throw a spanner in the works, the new apple id account isn't accepting my password (which was previously working) everytime I either sign in or verify my apple id on my ipod touch. Of course I tried to reset my password which took me to two options: (a) Send an e-mail to the address(es) attatched to my account to reset my password. This won't work because the e-mail that comes through is one of this nature: 'Please verify the contact email address for your Apple ID' and so I click the link and in order for me to verify the e-mail address with the apple id, I need to sign in with my apple id username and password (which I have forgotten). Which takes me round in a viscous circle! (b) Answer some security questions - but before I can answer any questions, I need to give my date of birth...which it doesn't accept!
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I just want one apple id account (my old one) with the credit from my new account (that I can't access).

Likely not. Also, accounts can't be combined. You can always contact iTunes but see:

  • Is it possible for me to transfer my purchases from one Apple ID to another?

Hello.  I currently have two Apple ID accounts.  I want to keep my iCloud account and just use that one as my Apple ID.  I want to delete one that I have linked to a diffrent email address.  Before I do this, I would like to know if I could transfer my purchases on the other ID to my iCloud Apple ID.  Or is this not possible?

    No.
I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.
If you are wondering how using multiple Apple IDs relate to iCloud, see Apple IDs and iCloud.

  • How do I transfer itunes library from one apple id to another?

My husband and I used to share an Apple id, under which I uploaded music from my old CDs and we also both purchased music in itunes.  But I have since established my own Apple ID in an attempt to organize my music and downloaded a few things there.  Since puchasing a new apple desktop and having our files transferred, I would really like to "copy" or "share", not sure what the right term would be, all of the music under the original id to my own and keep things separate from here on out.  But how do I get, or bring up, all the old music in my new(er) apple id?

Music from your cds in not "under" and Apple id at all.
Put all of the music in your itunes library.  that simple.
Music is not in an id.  it is on a computer.  Put it wherever you like.
