How can I transfer photos from my Mac Book Pro to my windows computer.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Transfer them to an external disk formatted in "MS-DOS (FAT)" with Disk Utility > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU1.html
If you have the pictures in iPhoto, choose them with the Command key, go to File menu (on the menu bar) > Export, and copy them to the external disk. Then, connect your external disk to the PC and move them.
If you have the pictures in Finder, steps are the same, but in this case, you will have to drag the pictures you chose to the external disk that you can find in the Finder sidebar, under "Devices"

You must sync them over using iTunes.
Here is an article that should help:

If you are have iTunes 11 on your Mac then you may want to re-enable the left-hand sidebar via View > Show Sidebar (option-command-S on a Mac), which might make it easier to navigate.
To sync photos, connect and select your iPad on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders (or iPhoto ro Aperture albums) to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad (unless you want to remove all synced photos), instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.

This is not necessarily 100% correct at the current time.
As Dropbox is encouraging people to set it up for automatic uploading of photos they gradually increment your space as you load more pictures for free at the current time.
You do start with a fixed 2 GB but if you upload photos you will be awarded more free space.
You can also open a free account with Flickr - you may have some upload limits per day but you can upload pictures there.

  • How can I delete files from My Mac Book Pro safely to create more space?

    Hi,
I need to delete files from my Mac Book Pro and I am not sure how to do it safely without affecting my computers drivers or operations.
In my Finder - All Files Section there are certain files in the Preview, marked as "PNG Image", Window Image, GIF image, XLM. when I look at them they seem scripted or sections of an image. How do I know which files are safe to remove
I seem to find a lot of duplicated files - is there a way of stopping this from happening?
Thanks from a little frustrated Mac Book user.

  • How can I transfer photos from my Mac laptop to my Iphone5?

I want to create more storage on my Iphone5 by deleting the photos after importing them, but the easiest way to do so seems to be to delete all of them at once using my laptop. However, I want a handful of them left on my IPhone. How do I transfer some of the imported photos back to the phone?

In addition to syncing with iTunes you could simply drop the photos that you want back on your iPhone into your Photo Stream to send them back or download them again to the iPhone.Or create a Shared Photo Stream of the photos you want to keep on your iPhone.

  • How can I transfer photos from my iPad to memory stick without a computer? No internet connection.

Transferring photos from iPad to memory stick.

    That's the truth.
I went shopping yesterday and bought a £25 lightning adapter to SD card for my iPad. Today I find out I cannot perform the extremely simplistic task of copying my required photos to my SD card using the adapter ...
Any other tablet or phone would do this.
I now face an uphill struggle to get these photos off of the iPad and onto an SD card before going to the camera shop to get them printed on photo paper. I am due at my terminally ill mothers house in 1hour20mins. It will take me 1 hour to drive to her town. I then need to get to the camera shop and print these pictures off - I reckon at least 30mins to park and print them. And this does not factor in the wasted time and money I have already spent this morning getting nowhere with this useless adapter. It does not factor in the time wasted now trying to get these photos off my iPad, on to a computer, then on to an SD card - then leaving the house............
I think me and Android are going to be very good friends.

  • How to recover lost photos from my mac book pro

I had photos saved on my harddrvie under Pictures folder.
I think they were deleted by mistake and i don't know when but sure more than two months if that matters.
please help i need them. client's work.

    TimeMachine is automatic
Anytimevyou attach an external drive it either adds to list to backup r asks to use fr backup
Any operating system has some file and system backup mechanism
And Yu job s to buy and keep two or more backup sets, especially when business or there are involved
Consider cloud backup, I think Apple iCloud is not suitable there are others that will backup photos and affordable
This forum is not the one devoted to the laptop serves like MacBook Pro (Mac Pro is desktop tower workstations)

For a few photos, you can select them in the iPhoto library then drag and drop them to the USB key. This is a copy, so the originals will remain in iPhoto.
To move the whole library, use the procedure described here:
