It sounds like you are talking about the cloning tool?
Tool looks like this:
Then when selected you can change the size of the brush and using Alt (windows) and Command (Mac) to select your region you want to copy then start to create you cloned image.

I have read in theory it should work? I have a plantronics bluetooth earpiece for my cell phone. How can I set it up as a Mic on the MacMini? in preferences? I want to be able to use it in iMovie.
I was doing a search under Microphones, someone posted : besides isite and imic, one should be able to use a bluetooth set as a Mic.

How can we use icloud to share phone calendars?
I have an icloud account. I would like to link my phone, my husband's phone and our ipad all to it. I would like to share music and games and calendar so that when I add something to my calendar it will appear in my husband's phone calendar as well. I do not however want to share contacts text messages email etc. How can I do this?

You can share an Apple ID for iTunes, but each have a separate ID for iCloud (to keep your personal data separate). If you each then sign into the others ID as a secondary account at settings > mail, contacts, calendars and turn on calendars or anything else you wish to share with each other. -
I was instructed by I Tunes to restore my Iphone 4 - ITunes has since said it is unable to restore. I am now left with a black screen with Itunes logo on it and a picture of the charger attachment at the base of the screen and I am unable to do anything now with the device. You have lost all your data, but hopefully you were backing it up with iCloud or iTunes. You can try this:
Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings. -

You can get a Skype phone number and treat your web enabled device (laptop or iPad) as a phone.
Not sure about the Bluetooth thing though, worth a try.
There are some logistical issues however, for one you need complete internet access. if you lose 3G service your system probably wont work on a degraded network like Edge or GPRS.
Also, incoming calls will not behave the same way as an incoming call on your phone, for example, you'll need to enter your password before you can access Skype and then launch the app. Chances are you'll have missed the call by then.

How can I prevent my iOS 7 phone from hitting buttons on my face when I'm talking?
I love iOS 7 but I am having one major recurring issue. My hardware is an iPhoen 4S and I have updated to iOS 7.0.2. While making calls my face is regularly hitting the number key, or the speakerphone key, face time, etc...
This is probably less of a support issue and more of a request for a bug fix. The old iOS turned down the sensitivity automatically when a user put the phone to their face, obviously that's not happening here.

I've just ordered an iMac Intel and I want to use it from my home to work on my Mac G5 at my office, not just to copy files but to actually run programs on the G5, sort of like "Go to My PC" works with PCs.

Yeah... what you desire is possible, but it's a huge pain. Unless you're really friendly with the network dudes at your office and you have some sort of licensing scheme that accommodates VPN access and networked licensing, this probably won't happen. Shoot, even if you DO have VPN and all of that, this particular type of setup is tricky. I've used SSH to tunnel certain programs between two computers (usually in the same subnet, not miles apart), and it's cool... but rather slow.
If your time is valuable, I'd weigh it against the cost of purchasing the desired software. -

Go to www.icloud.com and sign into your acount. The first window you'll see will be this:
Click on the Find My iPhone button, sign in with your icloud password and you're be in the page that can find your phone, laptop or even desktop as long as they are on, logged into your iCloud account and have enabled Find My Phone..

I was trying to get the iOS 8.2 on my iPhone 5 but then it stopped and my phone is now on recovery mode I have pictures I need and they did not all fit on iCloud how can I use the phone again with ALL my pictures and videos without restoring it?
Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes? If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created. -

How can I use 2 Apple IDs in Itunes? I have 2 IOS Devices. They each have there own AppleID. What is the proper way to sync both of them to Itunes? I wanted my teenager's AppleID to be different from mine so that she couldn't charge stuff to my AppleID, therefore I created me another one. Now when I go to Sync either device, it tells me that this IOS device can only be synced with one AppleID. Then I get a message to erase it, not going to do that, lol. If I logout as one ID and login as the other, will it still retain all synced information on the PC from the first IOS device? If I can just log in out of the AppleID, then I have no problem doing that as long as the synced apps, music, etc stays there for both. I am not trying to copy from one to the other, just want to make sure I have a backup for the UhOh times. If logging in and out on the same PC of multiple AppleIDs is acceptible then I need to be able to authorize the PC for both devices. Thanks for the help. I am new to the iOS world.

I forgot to mention that she has a PC at her house that she also syncs to. Would this cause a problem. I am already getting that pop up saying that the iPod is synced to another library (even though she is signed in with her Apple ID to iTunes) and gives the pop up to Cancel, Erase & Sync, or Transfer Purchases. My question arose because she clicked on "Erase & Sync" by mistake when she plugged the iPod to her PC the first time. When the iPod was purchased and setup, it was synced to my PC first. When she went home, she hooked it up to her PC and then she erased it by accident. I was able to restore all the missing stuff yesterday using my PC. However, even after doing that it still told me the next time I hooked it up last night that the iPod was currently synced with a different library. Hopefully, you can help me understand all this. She wants to sync her iPod and also backup her iPod at both places. Both PCs have been authorised. Thanks
