  • How can i use a component twice in the same movie clip

    Excuse me am a beginner in this as2
    below is the script used:
    PeelIt is a component.
    /////////////////////////////////////////////////1st frame contains the below:
    PeelIt._visible = false;
    PeelIt.init();
    PeelIt.Peel();
    ///////////////////////////////////////////////// then on 2 different buttons:
    on (release){
        this._parent.PeelIt._visible = true;
        this._parent.PeelIt.Stick();
    and
    on (release){
        this._parent.PeelIt.Peel();
    1st problem: i need this component to work when the swf loads instead of (on release),
    2nd problem: i need to introduce several frames with different movieclips using the component, how can i do so.
    thank you

    use:
    PeelIt.init();
    PeelIt.Peel();PeelIt._visible = true;
    PeelIt.Stick();
    PeelIt.Peel();
    and just add the component to each movieclip.

  • How can I use Airport Extreme just as a file server - no wifi

    I'm setting up a new Apple environment for an invalid music buff.  Here are the components, all newly purchased.
    MacBook Pro
    Airport Extreme
    Airport Express
    I was handed a G-Drive with a large iTunes file collection on it.
    The user will have Comcast as his network provider and he already has a Comcast wireless router, so none of the Apple devices will need to be used as a wireless router or base station (assuming I understand what Apple means by a "base station").
    The Airport Express has the primary function of acting as an AirPlay device, feeding an analog music signal to the user's hi-end audio system (Denon integrated amplifier, Thiel Loudspeakers).
    The Airport Extreme has the sole function of acting as a network file share for the G-Drive.
    The MacBook Pro will operate iTunes and will get its music files from the network shared G-Drive and send it to the AirPlay device, which will feed the music signal to the hi-end audio system.
    I am able to get the Airport Express to simply act as a wireless client on the Comcast provided wireless network.  The MacBook Pro is also on the network and can see the Airport Express as an AirPlay device and send music to the audio system.
    What I'm having problems with is getting the Airport Extreme to simply act as a file server on this LAN.  It can either work in bridged mode and just be a wireless network client, or I can readily run an ethernet cable from the Airport Extreme to the Airport Express, or even to the Comcast router.
    I tried to connect the MacBook Pro to the Airport Extreme with an ethernet cable and get it to "join an existing network", but it refused to recognize the Comcast provided network.  All it could see were some networks in homes nearby.
    I was hoping that if I just ran a network cable between the Airport Extreme and the Airport Express, that it would just get a network address over DHCP through the Airport Express.  Nope.
    So I'm stuck.   How do I get the Airport Express to simply act as a file server for the G-Drive on my LAN?

    +Can I use the Airport Extreme base station as a wired router, with wireless disabled for the time being?+
    Sure, but it will probably take just as much time...a few minutes....to turn the wireless off than simply change the name on the default wireless network to your personal choice.
    The AirPort Extreme is pre-configured to create a wireless network when it is hooked up to a modem. All you need do is assign a name to this network and establish a password. If you don't want to do this, you can turn the wireless off and use the device as a wired only router.
    AirPort Utility, the application that is used to setup the AirPort Extreme has a simple guided step by step process for you to configure the device the way you want.

    Thank you for advise, will try apple store  another thing how can I increase my ramm and memory
    Check your machine's actual specifications here.
    It looks like you can support up to 3 MByte in a 17" iMac and up to 4 Mbyte in a 20" iMac, if your cache size coordinates with the specs on the linked page.
    OWC says you should be able to put 4 Gbyte into your machine here.  Wherever you get the memory, it would be a good addition.  This is the Apple Store listing for your machine, as near as I can figure it.

  • How can I Use a Stored Procedure from Microsoft SQL Server?

    Hi All,
    Would like to use stored procedure as my data service in Visual Composer.
    Our version is VC7.0 SP20.
    Is stored procedure feasible? What is the system that i need to create  in Enterprise Portal? Currently i have BI JDBC System which only allows me to search for tables from SQL Server.
    Much appreciate your help.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sarah

    Hi Skif,
    Referring to my post: JDBC System Connection VS BI JDBC System Connection
    I do not even able to view list of stored procedure. I need help too..maybe you can show me how do you set the connection? What are the mandatory connection properties? I have filled up:
    - Connection URL
    - Driver class name
    - User Administration: User, Admin (I did user mapping too)
    The error message that i got is:
    com.sap.guimachine.portalconnector.commandhandler.CommandException: Failed to connect to backend system. Check your system definition and user privileges.#
    I had assigned full control to the DB user, and map my portal user to that DB user.
    Many Thanks,
    Sarah

  • How can I use SSO from BI to BO Enterprise Server

    Hello,
    I have installed a BO Enterprise Server SR3 and I want to connect it to an SAP BI 7.0.
    I did the configuration of the Installation Guide "BusinessObjects XI Integration für SAP Solutions-Installationshandbuch" chapter 6 except of the last two. I do not want to use a second server.
    The problem is that a connection test of the RFC-Connection in SAP BI will cause the following error:
    SNC disabled fo conversation ..., tp=BO_Publischer_T22 /CPIC-CALL:'ThS
    ERROR: SNC disabled fo conversation ..., tp=BO_Publischer_T22
    LOCATION: CPIC (TCP/IP) on host AGES2901
    I have started the Publisher and the Server Intelligence Agent with a domainuser and this user can call the sapgenpse without being in the path of the program.
    If I test the system in transaction /crystal/rptadmin  I first have to logon to the SAP WebAS and then to the BO Enterprise (via SAP Authentication).
    Has anyone configured the connection from BI to BO this way?
    Best regards
    Andreas

    Hi all,
    I am having the same problem, I am not able to open a Crystal Report without being propmted for user and password. This happens from
    SAP GUI and also from an iView within the SAP Portal.
    Another thing is that I have defined a Repository in the SAP Portal, I can see the folders and reports, but when I try to open a report it gives the follwing error
    500
    Internal error in the server
    The url is trying to access is the follwing:
    http://sap470:51000/irj/go/km/docs/boerepo/2128/2590
    2128 is the folder id and 2590 is the report id, I am not sure if the url is supposed to be like that.
    Any idea?
    Thanks

  • How can I develop EJBs using JDeveloper?

    Hi all.
    How can I develop EJBs (entity beans) using JDeveloper and deploying them on WebLogic6x
    server?
    Oracle says that JDeveloper enables to build and deploy applications to the WebLogic
    6x, but I can't do that with Entity Beans(CMP).
    I established the connection to the WebLogic and to the DataBase and they work.
    JDeveloper generate ejb-jar.xml and weblogic-ejb-jar.xml but not weblogic-cmp-rdbms-jar.xml.
    How can I build all the necessary xml's files? What I have to do? Exist a pluging
    to integrate JDeveloper with WebLogic?
    Thanks, and I hope your answers.
    Isra

    hello,
    in reports 6i the charts are created using oracle graphics which stores the chart definitions in a separate file (.OGD). there is not XML interface for graphics.
    with reports 9i and the introduction of the BIgraphBean the definition of the chart-properties is also done in XML.
    reports 9i will be available with iAS Release 2.

    Now I am able to install 2 separate(One of 10.3.4 and 10.3.6) instances with two different users,In two different directories.
    I have installed the weblogic 10.3.6 version with a user webadmin and installed node manager with port 5556. This is working fine.
    The main problem here is :
    In the second instance (10.3.4 ) installed with a a different user and gave the port number to NodeManager as 1600 and its not getting started. Its throwing error and also after some errors in the terminal am able to see that its reverting to port number 5556 only.
    What might be the issue?
    I have to install 2 different versions of weblogic in a single Server. But am failing with NodeManager. What Can I do to have multiple weblogic instances with multiple versions in a single server ?
    Can anyone suggest a resolution for this please ?

  • How can WLS use JSP pages in a Web Application witth just a JRE [Web Application, WAR, JSP, weblogic.jsp.pageCheckSeconds and JRE]

              How can WLS use JSP pages in a Web Application (either a .war file or a war directory structure) without a java compiler?
              I suspect either the JSP specification is flawed (i.e. it doesn't take account of servers using just a JRE), or BEA's implementation is broken.
              Production servers do not have a JDK installed. They only have a JRE. Therfore a java compiler is not present on the machine that the Web Application is deployed onto.
              On the development machine, when the server is requested to load the JSP it creates a tmpwar directory within the Web Application directory structure. This is then included in the resultant .war file thus:
              D:\war>jar -tf gmi.war
              META-INF/
              META-INF/MANIFEST.MF
              gmiService.jsp
              WEB-INF/
              WEB-INF/classes/
              WEB-INF/classes/com/
              WEB-INF/classes/com/bt/
              WEB-INF/classes/com/bt/gmi/
              WEB-INF/classes/com/bt/gmi/gmiService.class
              WEB-INF/getList.xsl
              WEB-INF/getListByConnection.xsl
              WEB-INF/getListByDistrict.xsl
              WEB-INF/getListByDistrictConnection.xsl
              WEB-INF/lib/
              WEB-INF/source/
              WEB-INF/source/build.bat
              WEB-INF/source/gmiService.java
              WEB-INF/web.xml
              WEB-INF/weblogic.xml
              tmpwar/
              tmpwar/jsp_servlet/
              tmpwar/jsp_servlet/_gmiservice.class
              tmpwar/jsp_servlet/_gmiservice.java
              When deployed on the production server with the web.xml file set to use the following values (note XML stripped):
              weblogic.jsp.pageCheckSeconds
              -1
              weblogic.jsp.precompile
              false
              weblogic.jsp.compileCommand
              javac
              weblogic.jsp.verbose
              true
              weblogic.jsp.packagePrefix
              jsp_servlet
              weblogic.jsp.keepgenerated
              false
              And in the weblogic.properties file:
              weblogic.httpd.webApp.gmi=war/gmi
              I've also tried with the .war file, but that insists on creating another tmpwar directory outside of the .war file.
              Then, although I have set pageCheckSeconds to -1 (don't check and don't recompile) ter production server still attempts to recompile the JSP's:
              Mon Sep 25 11:40:11 BST 2000:<I> <WebAppServletContext-gmi> *.jsp: init

    The default Java compiler from sun lives in the tools.jar that comes with
              the JDK. Just add that to your set of JARs which are deployed in production
              and you should be fine. No need to install the full JDK - just make the
              tools.jar available to WebLogic.

  • How can I use FK description in a BC4J data query component?

    Hi all,
    I am facing the following problem.
    Although I use renderers in the DataEdit component for displaying the descriptions of the FKs this is not useful for the BC4J data query components.
    How can I get the same functionality as in the dataEdit components?
    Thanks in advance,
    Aggelos

    Anfortunately,
    This is not the same when I have a DataQuery component.
    The question now becomes as following:
    How can I use FK description in a BC4J data query component?
    Thanks in advance

  • How can i use tag library in the mvc?

    hello
    in some tag libraris such as jakarta tag library and jrun tag library,there is database
    access tag, it provide convenient function to access database from jsp page,but i wonder how can i use such a tag within MVC architecture.
    as we know,in MVC architecture,all requests from the jsp pages are submit to the controller servlet,then the controller manipulate ejb to access database,it don't allow the database access from the jsp page.
    who can tell me how can i combine the tag library with mvc architecture appropriately?
    thank you!

    You can't! If you decide to limit the JSP to be part of the View component, obviously you should not include tags that directly access the database. If the strict MVC architecture is less important to you, then the tags can save coding time. It's your choice.

  • How can I use XMLBeans in a Web Services client?

    How can I use XMLBeans in a standalone Java client with a Web Service?
    I posted the message below earlier in the year, but have not yet been successful
    in my
    attempts.
    regards
    Eddie
    Hi,
    I'm trying to using XMLBeans to send a document to a web service from a standalone
    Java client. I'm using the PurchaseOrder (easypo) example document, and the service
    expects a parameter of type PurchaseOrderDocument. The client proxy class generated
    by WebLogic Workshop, however, expects to send a parameter of type PurchaseOrder.
    In the client, I can instantiate a PurchaseOrderDocument, and then obtain a PurchaseOrder
    (e.g. pod.getPurchaseOrder() ), but the returned class is not compatible with
    the PurchaseOrder type that the client proxy expects.
    In a previous attempt (not using Workshop), the client would not compile because
    it expected to send a non-abstract class with a public default constructor (presumably
    a JAX-RPC requirement), and XMLBeans had generated an interface.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    thanks & regards
    Eddie

    I have been experiencing similar problems with the HTML Editor and have managed to find an answer that should start to answer some of my questions. The Apex HTML Editor Standard is actually an HTML editor called FCKeditor. The FCKeditor has a Javascript API that can be found at http://docs.fckeditor.net/FCKeditor_2.x/Developers_Guide/JavaScript_API. Unfortuately this doesn't seem to give the whole answer and I found more at http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/thread.cfm/threadid:49607.
    I needed to get the text entered within my html editor standard (e.g. P1_MYTEXT) and use it within my javascript function. I did this by using the following script
    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
    function showtext(){
    var oEditor = FCKeditorAPI.GetInstance('P1_MYTEXT');
    var editortext = escape(oEditor.GetXHTML(oEditor.FormatOutput));
    alert(editortext);
    </script>
    Hope this helps.

  • How can I use multiple row insert or update into DB in JSP?

    Hi all,
    pls help for my question.
    "How can I use multiple rows insert or update into DB in JSP?"
    I mean I will insert or update the multiple records like grid component. All the data I enter will go into the DB.
    With thanks,

    That isn't true. Different SQL databases have
    different capabilities and use different syntax, That's true - every database has its own quirks and extensions. No disagreement there. But they all follow ANSI SQL for CRUD operations. Since the OP said they wanted to do INSERTs and UPDATEs in batches, I assumed that ANSI SQL was sufficient.
    I'd argue that it's best to use ANSI SQL as much as possible, especially if you want your JDBC code to be portable between databases.
    and there are also a lot of different ways of talking to
    SQL databases that are possible in JSP, from using
    plain old java.sql.* in scriptlets to using the
    jstlsql taglib. I've done maintenance on both, and
    they are as different as night and day.Right, because you don't maintain JSP and Java classes the same way. No news there. Both java.sql and JSTL sql taglib are both based on SQL and JDBC. Same difference, except that one uses tags and the other doesn't. Both are Java JDBC code in the end.
    Well, sure. As long as you only want to update rows
    with the same value in column 2. I had the impression
    he wanted to update a whole table. If he only meant
    update all rows with the same value in a given column
    with the same value, that's trivial. All updates do
    that. But as far as I know there's know way to update
    more than one row where the values are different.I used this as an example to demonstrate that it's possible to UPDATE more than one row at a time. If I have 1,000 rows, and each one is a separate UPDATE statement that's unique from all the others, I guess I'd have to write 1,000 UPDATE statements. It's possible to have them all either succeed or fail as a single unit of work. I'm pointing out transaction, because they weren't coming up in the discussion.
    Unless you're using MySQL, for instance. I only have
    experience with MySQL and M$ SQL Server, so I don't
    know what PostgreSQL, Oracle, Sybase, DB2 and all the
    rest are capable of, but I know for sure that MySQL
    can insert multiple rows while SQL Server can't (or at
    least I've never seen the syntax for doing it if it
    does).Right, but this syntax seems to be specific to MySQL The moment you use it, you're locked into MySQL. There are other ways to accomplish the same thing with ANSI SQL.
    Don't assume that all SQL databases are the same.
    They're not, and it can really screw you up badly if
    you assume you can deploy a project you've developed
    with one database in an environment where you have to
    use a different one. Even different versions of the
    same database can have huge differences. I recommend
    you get a copy of the O'Reilly book, SQL in a
    Nutshell. It covers the most common DBMSes and does a
    good job of pointing out the differences.Yes, I understand that.
    It's funny that you're telling me not to assume that all SQL databases are the same. You're the one who's proposing that the OP use a MySQL-specific extension.
    I haven't looked at the MySQL docs to find out how the syntax you're suggesting works. What if one value set INSERT succeeds and the next one fails? Does MySQL roll back the successful INSERT? Is the unit of work under the JDBC driver's control with autoCommit?
    The OP is free to follow your suggestion. I'm pointing out that there are transactions for units of work and ANSI SQL ways to accomplish the same thing.

  • How can i use connection pool within the sqlj?

    hello
    i am a beginner to sqlj,i find all of the sample code from the oracle DON'T use connectionpool,they only write the database url to "connection.properties" file,but i think in the production environment we should use the connectionpool to optimise the querying,i usually use the weblogic connection pool.
    how can i use the connection pool within the sqlj?
    thank you very much!

    Im not sure if I understand. :)
    English is not my best language...
    Looking up the connection again? Do you mean I have to create new DataSource object and bind it again to ServletContext?
