How can I use iPhoto with Drobo? Library not copying...

I know from searching this forum that Drobo wasn't suitable for use as a host of the iPhoto Library in the past - but now that Drobo can be formatted as a Mac OS Extended (Journaled) drive, I thought the problem was solved.
However, I can't get my Library to copy over successfully from the external drive I've been using up to now, I get the following error:
The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “iPhoto Library” can’t be read or written. (Error code -36)
This is confirmed by the fact that the copied library is much smaller than the original: The original is 94.88gb, and the copied file is 55.57gb.
When I open the new library, no thumbnails are visible, and no photos can be opened.
What's the recommended workaround for storing and using iPhoto on a Drobo?

That means there is some file(s) or folder(s) within the library that cannot be copied because the permissions on them are wrong or they are damaged in some way.
The Drobo has nothing to do with it.
Workaround: use a back up app like Chronosync to copy the Library to to disk. Any back up app that makes a straight copy of the Library (rather than increments) will do the job.

That's exactly what I tried to do, but the iPhoto librry doesn't show up in the pulldown menu. If I click "Choose Folder", the iPhoto library is greyed out and unable to be selected.

How can I use LCCS with ActionScript 3 and Flash CS4?

Hi,
Using Stratus I was able to create an an application using Action Script 3 and Flash CS4. The sample code on the Adobe site was quite straight forward and easy to understand. I now want to switch over to LCCS but can't find anything any where on how to use Action Script 3 and Flash CS4 with LCCS. Do I need to know Flex to be able to use LCCS? Everything was quite simple and easy to understand with Stratus and makes complete sense. But LCCS is really confusing. Is there any sample code on how to establish a connection in Action Script 3 and then stream from a webcam to a client. There is nothing in the LCCS SDK that covers Flash and Action Script 3. Please help! I found the link below on some forum but it takes me nowhere.

Please refer to the SDK's sampleApps folder. There would be an app called FlashUserList. The app demonstrates how LCCS can be used with Flash CS4. Its a pretty basic app, but should help you moving.

The problem is that you are using application-identity. When you
specify an objectid-class, we treat is automatically as application
identity. To resolve this, I would recommend removing both the
objectid-class and identity-type atributes from your class. With
"objectid-class" in place, we asssume that you wil take care of identity.

I will address your second question.
First, make sure your iPhone and iPad have absolutely identical Apple IDs. If they do, use that Apple ID in Settings > iCloud on your iPhone to select the "Notes" option. Lo and behold, all your iCloud notes should appear on your iPhone.
