How to use iWeb to create a website that contains a downloadable audio files. I'm uloading about 15 GB of audio files. I need to creat folders "albums" and then put the files in these folders. Any advise?

The important thing is not to put the audio files directly into iWeb: if you do that then every time iWeb decides it needs to upload the entire site you will find yourself uploading all 15GB of audio files, which won't make you happy. Start by uploading the files to the server - in folders as suits you - and then link to them in iWeb.
If you want them to download rather than play, you may be able to set up an .'htaccess' file in the folder which will force a download - it depends on whether your hosting service will allow this. The method is described here:

Here is an example of a simple link which produces a download (without the process described the audio file would play in the browser in a blank page):

Then all you need to do is to provide a link, designed however suits you, in your iWeb page. If your server won't allow the .htaccess file then you will have to ask visitors to control-click (Mac) or right-click (Windows) on the link and choose 'Download linked file' or equivalent - not so convenient; or otherwise zip the files first, which won't much reduce their size but will force a download (and of course the recipients will have to unzip them).
If you want the files to play in a player in the page, you can use an html snippet to provide a player as described in this page (you will also need to upload a script to the webspace - this is provided in the page):

I didn't expect you to have your customer run the command. I would expect you to create the executable and install it. However, there wouldn't be any difference in what you are creating and the .jar file. Either way it is a faceless icon. For that matter, it is no different than a batch file on Windows. I'm not sure what they wouldn't understand with, "copy the Vocab.jar file to wherever you want and double-click it to run the program." In addition, you probably ought to point out that Java is not installed on Mac OS X Lion (10.7.x) and when they double-click the jar file (or whatever you send them), the system will ask if they want to install Java.
What you really need to do is package up the app inside a Mac application package and provide the user with the application on a .dmg (disk image). How can I use the color adjustments interface that shows up for camera raw on other files types? The HLS controls had the secondary color adjustments (6 colors instead of the 3). Plus, it had same vibrancy and a better Curves interface. Yesterday was the first time I imported raw into Photoshop CS5 and I got that really cool interface. What is that? Can I use that on other file formats?

Actually I am using the Tradional Chinese Version, when I try to edit the jpg file with camera raw, the system shows that there is no camera raw plug-in. The cmaera raw never work.

Can I use iWeb to create a website with visitor purchasing options?

I'm wondering if it's possible to use iWeb to create and publish a website for a small business like mine where visitors to the site can select items and have the option to make credit card purchases from the site. Obviously all the security for online purchasing would need to be there also. Is iWeb capable of that or does Apple offer a different web page software that can do this?

As far as I know, Apple has no s/w offerings of that sort. Bear this in mind when considering e-commerce and the MobileMe Service:

Your friend needs both a domain name and a web hosting account in order to get his website online. If he has both with GoDaddy.com then yes, you can create and upload the site.
If he has purchased only a domain name he'll need to get a hosting service.

This question may be a little confusing, so below is a link to an example of what I want to create using Dreamweaver.

On this webpage, the user is asked to fill in the forms with their info and when they press "view printable form", a html page using the info that was inputted is created for the user to print and sign.

Welcome to the iWeb forums.
In iWeb, when you have finished building your site, select from the File menu the option to Publish to a folder, and just select your Desktop. iWeb will generate an index.html file and a Site folder, (which contains your site), both of which will be placed on your desktop when iWeb is finished. Upload both of these, as they are, to your server using an ftp client. Tom Gewecke has given good instructions on this in these notes.
If you run into difficulties, post back and everyone here will help out most courteously.

I created a website using dreamweaver cs5.5 and now my boss wants me to make changes on a webpage I linked it to a different site (one that I didnt create its with yahoo). He wants me to make changes on the site that I linked. Example is on my "Store" page I have an "express store" all I did was copy and paste that link to the yahoo store page for our company store so when people click on the "express store" they automatically go to our store via yahoo. My boss wants the prices to be changed on the yahoo page...How can I do that? Do I have to make new files for the pages? By copying the source code from the pages into dreamweaver and make the changes there and just link to the "new" page. Example: My "express store" would go to the new page's I created. What's the easier way to make changes to a site I didn't create?

In DW, you would go to Site > New Site and create a new empty site with just your ftp username, password and directory. You would then open that site in DW and choose the Get button from the Files tab to download the site onto your computer. Then you can make any changes you like to any page and upload them.
There may be some oddities in Design View because it's likely that the site uses some proprietary code that DW itself won't render correctly. Preview In Browser to make sure the pages look the way you want before uploading.

How can I use iweb 1.1.2 for more than one user account on my macbook?

I wonder if someone can guide me or point me to a previous answer on this, since I haven't found one. I'm simply trying to use iweb 1.1.2 on two user accounts (both labled as administrators) on our macbook. The program functions fine on one account, but when I switch over to another user account on the computer iweb will open, but does not let me start a new page, save, etc.

Welcome to the discussions. If iWeb's menus are greyed out, the following trick has worked for some:
In the user account which does not let you start a new page, save, etc. — Quit iWeb. Start iPhoto. Select a couple of photos, click on the iWeb icon at lower right and choose Photo Page. iWeb will open up and invite you to choose a template for your new Photos page. Choose any template so that the page is created and then delete that newly created page.
...Now perhaps things are no longer greyed out in iWeb.

How can I view videos from a website that uses flash player?

Hi All...having an issue finding an application to use to view videos on another website that uses flash player. I have Flip for Mac, but this doesn't solve the problem. Without this(Adobe) app, the videos will not run, rendering use of the website usless. Finding more and more issues in trying to use these video tutorials on my iMac/Maverick. Is there any help out there?
