You want to use a combination of three features, a button on the panel,
code to notice value changes using either polling in a state machine of
some sort or an event structure, and a VI Server property node to set
the Visible property of the VI being opened and closed.
The button exists on the controlling panel. The code to notice value
changes is probably on the controlling panel's diagram, and this diagram
sets the Visible property node of a VI class property node to FALSE or
TRUE to show or
hide the panel. To get the VI reference to wire to the
property node, you probably want to use the Open VI Reference node with
the VI name.

Judging by the fact that you mention the VXIpc-8015, I am deducing that you are using the VXI-MXI-2 card under Windows NT. Is that correct?
Under Windows NT, the VXI-MXI-2 board and the VXI-1394 need to use different versions of the NI-VXI driver.
The VXI-PC-8015 (MXI-2) should be using NI-VXI v3.2, while the VXI-1394 needs to use a special version of the driver (v2.1.1) because Windows NT does not natively support the IEEE 1394 protocol.
The issue may simply be the wrong driver, but if it is not, we will need to know more information about your system.

3. How are you attempting to communi

Apple assumes that you will be connecting the Time Capsule to a simple modem....and.....that the Time Capsule is configured as a router to provide DHCP and NAT services for the network.
The Guest Network cannot be enabled correctly unless the Time Capsule is in charge of DHCP and NAT services on the network.
Another way of saying the same thing is that the Guest Network will not operate correctly if the Time Capsule is configured in Bridge Mode or DHCP Only.

There is no other solution - as you have already been told, if you don't have that user id and you cannot contact the previous owner of that id for the phone, then there is absolutely nothing that you can do. You have a useless brick that you can't use.

It sounds like you will still want to link your iPad and computer, but you want to prevent the iPad from syncing information from your computer to your iPad. I have an article here for you that can help tell you how to set this up:

You will want to follow the steps here to set up the iPad for syncing, but when it comes time to sync, you'll just want to make sure that the boxes for syncing the multitude of items that you can sync remain unchecked so that none of that information gets synced into the iPad.
Another note: your second Apple ID will not be able to access the apps, music, movies, tv shows, etc., that you have purchased under your primary Apple ID. Even though it seems that the secondary Apple ID still has access to those items, that is just because you are viewing your second Apple ID through the iTunes Store section on your computer and you have those items saved locally on your computer. You will need to repurchase and download all of the content that you wish to use again on your second Apple ID, if that is what you wish to solely use on this iPad.

Hopefully this will be an easy fix... Although I cannot seem to work it out??
I am building a state machine inside a while-loop with the following states:
1. System idle.
2. Self-cal pci card.
3. Run DAQ and do my processing.
4. Stop the vi.
I can do this using a enum no problems (with state 1. System idle as the initialising state for the while-loop)... But I really want to have is 4 buttons on the front panel, one for each of the 4 states, so that all the user needs to do is press the button corresponding to the state they want and the appropriate transition ocurrs... For example, when the vi first runs, the idle state is operating... When the user is ready can then hit button 2 for a self-cal... Is self-cal is ok, they hit button 3 for DAQ... Once the DAQ is finished the user can hit button 4 to stop the vi..
My problem is that I need the current button to unlatch when another button is hit...
Any suggestions?... This is killing me!

If you are adding a second iPod for your own use, just connect the new iPod to your computer and follow the on screen instructions. It will update from your existing library. Depending on the size of your library and the type of iPod you choose you can have it update all songs and playlists, selected playlists only or you can manage it manually
If the iPods belong to different users then there are actually a few methods for using more than one iPod on a single computer: How To Use Multiple iPods with One Computer
Just to summarise what's in the link above which is a little out of date:
Method one is to have individual Mac or Windows user accounts which by definition would give you completely separate iTunes Music folders and libraries.
Method two is to set your preferences so that any or all of iPods get updated with only certain playlists within one library:

Choosing the update option "Sync Music - Selected playlists" allows you to create a playlist specifically for each iPod and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library to be used by the other iPod. In a perfect world, either an image click or a form submit would run the procedure. The parameter (@username) is currently sent to the page as a URL Querystring of the same name.

I'm not sure what your question is. Is this currently failing? Or are you not able to figure out how to send the username to the script page? You really just need to create a form and pass the value in a form field.

Never use a querystring to update data. It is too dangerous. Use the post method instead.

HOW CAN I USE MULTIPLE VIEWS IN ONE BLOCK

What I need to do is based on a selection, I have a detail block that shows the results. My selection would determine which view to display in the detail block.
So for example, my selection is:

I would then display the details by querying A_2005_VIEW
I can query a view dynamically using the QUERY_DATA_SOURCE_NAME however, my problem is, each view has different column names. How do I show different columns based on specific views?

You could use a "From Clause Query" as the block data source. You can change that dynamically.
Create generically named database items on the block COL1, COL2, ... COLn
Then depending on the users choice in the selection criteria, use the WHEN-NEW-BLOCK-INSTANCE trigger on the query block to
set_block_property(..., query_data_source_name,
'(SELECT viewcol1 COL1, viewcol2 COL2, .... , viewcoln COLN
FROM <whichever view>)');
This will work because Forms constructs the block query thus:
SELECT COL1, COL2, ..., COLN
FROM <blocks query_data_source_name>
so you are using the aliases in your query to match the forms database items names.

How to simutaneously use 2 PCI cards, one with traditional DAQ, the other with DAQmx?

I am currently trying to debug a system that used to work.. but sadly isnt anymore
A single computer contains 2 PCI cards (6110 & 6036E). The 6110 card is controlled by a fairly old software, programmed in labview, and hence, using Traditional NI-DAQ. The 6036e card is controlled by a more recent soft, programmed in LV as well but using DAQmx.
the AI/AO of the 6110 card is only momentarily used (20 sec consecutively, every minute) while the 6036E card is continuously receiving and sending data on its AI/AO.
Now the problem: the program that control the 6036E card freezes every time that the old prog access the 6110 card.. and then it works again perfectly until the next time that the 6110 card is used.
So my question: how can I make those 2 cards work simultaneously?
I dont think that it is because of the software nor because of the computer lack of memory/CPU if it used to work in the past. It might be about a wrong configuration of cards in the MAX but I couldnt find anything wrong there (no problem when accessing AI/AO of both cards through "test panel")

That's what bugs me. The only thing that those 2 cards share is an AO of the 6110 connected to an AI of the 6036.
For the rest, nothing is common. The 1st program only deal with device1, while the 2nd prog only access dev2. There shouldnt be any problem and everything is working fine separately. Hence, why I was wondering if the traditional daq and daqmx might conflict on a same computer.
I just cant find out why the 2nd program controling the daqmx card just freeze everytime the 1st program access the traditional card. It actually doesnt freeze completly but becomes soooo slow, with about only 2 iterations of the main while loop during those 15-20 sec (instead of the normal 3-4000 iterations during such a period).
The computer specs are a 2.2ghz proc for 1G of ram and running XP, so it should be ok.. even though the computer does slow a bit down when the 1st prog access the traditional card.

How can I use a halftone screen printing file to simulate the final output?

Just a little history to help with the understanding. I am working with a company that silk screens a pattern onto a solid color board. The patterns are saved as .sct extension but are flattened. I am trying to emulate the screening process by layering the halftone pattern over a solid color but can't seem to make it work. The "white" that was filled in on the pattern is creating the issue. If anyone knows how I can get this layer back to a transparency or any other trick to achieve the results I need, I would appreciate it.

Here you go. You can't really see what happened here but as per your instructions, I selected the "ink" layer and Alt-Clicked the Mask icon. Then I highlighted the actual mask of that layer and pasted the "pattern" that I had previously copied. This pasted the pattern into another layer above the ink layer. Here is a graphic for it.

I reside in the U.S. for several months each winter and just purchased an ITunes card here in Arizona. When I tried to purchase music on the Itunes store it would not accept the ITunes card as it said it was associated with a Canadian account. If I open an account on the U.S. itunes store and download music to my computer will I still be able to transfer that music to my Iphone without losing any of my existing music??? ?Thanks for your replies.
