How can we place an image in already created inline graphic frame?

Hi,
AIM::
To place an image in the inline graphic frame.
OBSERVATION::
As i have analysed the snippet Runner,i came to know that it allows to load the placegun with the file(in my case image). but in order to place it,we need to click on the document..and then the image is placed at (0,0) of the page(I suppose Indesign does it automatically).
what is needed,is to place image in already created inline graphic frame. i have created a inline graphic frame at some position in the story,but now i required to place image in this created frame.

I have the same problem. Can you give me a short code sample for that.
I have an image and want to place it in the currently selected frame...

    how can I verify an apple id already created without attaching a credit card?

    Why do you need to verify it? Have you received an email telling you to click a link to do so? - if so it's very possible that it's a scam designed to trick you into entering your credit card details. If you have received such an email don't follow any links in it. If it's not addressed to you by name it's unlikely to be from Apple.
    You could copy and paste the email into a post here so that we can have a look at it - remove your own email address when you do this.
    If there is some other reason you want to verify the ID please give more details.

  • How can I save an image I have created in Pages as a jpeg?

    How can I save an image I have created in Pages as a jpeg? The image has both a photo and various text boxes. I would like to use it in one of the Photocard websites but they only accept jpeg. Any easy solutions please.

    Hold command shift 4 and draw a box around what you want and then click again, on your desktop a .png file will appear.
    To convert it to jpeg, open it in Preview and Save as.

  • How can I place an image hot spot on top of a ap div with an image in the background of the ap div?

    It won't let me

    Right. You can't make an image map out of a background.  You must insert the image directly into the page (HTML markup).  Then apply hotspot tools to the image.

  • How can I place an image behind my header?

      I am using a template for pages and I have been selecting their different styles of pages.  They all have a image behind the header as a background...except one page.  I would like to add it, but the image will only go in front of the header.  I need to be able to see the header! :-) Anyone know how to solve this?  Thanks!

    I see the problem.
    It works on the other pages because the things behind are Background Objects, but I see no way of making the foreground objects (as on the Mailer page) background objects. Background Objects are not supposed to exist in Layout mode templates.
    I can see nothing in either the Wrap Inspector nor in the Format > Advanced options that distinguishes the two.
    As far as I can tell Apple has done something in their coding but put no User Interface on it.
    The only way around this that I can discover is to modify one of the pages where the objects are already Background Objects, to reconstruct the Mailer page by making them Media Placeholders then dragging a new image in place of the existing. Then it stays a Background Object.

  • How can I place an image in an Report without it getting pixelated

    Hello,
    I am creating a report from my program using NIReport. In my report, I have graphs and images that are being placed in the report. My current method is using a bitmap to take a screenshot of the current view of a control, then using that bitmap to create a JPEG file and appending that file to the report. However, the graphs and images are very fuzzy and pixelated. Is there another way of adding a graph or image to the report?

    The nirconvertsample.cws example seems to have images in the table for NIReport. You can dig through that example code to see how they do it.

  • How can I place an image into an email receipt or confirmation message?

    Once a FormsCentral form is completed and submitted, I would like to send the submitter an email receipt or confirmation message that includes an image and a URL link. Is that possible? I know an image can be inserted into the first form they complete, but I'm not seeing that feature in any of the autoresponse options.

    Hi,
    Currently, only a plain text message may be provided when customizing the email receipt or confirmation message.

  • How can one place a single image on a spread? CS3-MAC

    Hi all,
    i How can one place a single image on a spread? CS3-MAC
    A very straight forward question I think. I just never did it before. Anyone knows of a fast technique of doing this? I have to make 70+ images this way. Could it be scripted?
    thanx in advance
    Michael

    You'll need to be more specific. Placing a single image on one spread is drop-dead simple. File > Place, choose file, click (or click-and-drag) to place, scale and position as desired. You can ask about scripting in the
    scripting forum.
    You might not need to script this to get efficient use of time. Make a picture frame on the master spread and then insert 140 pages (70 2-page spreads) based on that master. File > Place, and select all 70 files. (They need to be in one folder. Click on the top file, scroll down, lick on the bottom file.) Zoom out and click once on each spread to place each image. Should work faster that writing, testing, debugging, and running a script.

    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
    == I updated to one of the firefox versions (Not sure which one it was)

    Thanks Alex, but sadly I already tried that. Neither .docx or .xlsx files show up in the content list. They both show as a Chrome HTML document so changing how Firefox addresses those doesn't help since it thinks its the same type of file. I don't think I can manually add files into the "Content Type" left side nav.

  • How can I attach an image without the image is in the email body? (using the new mail the Lion)

    How can I attach an image without the image is in the email body? (using the new mail the Lion)
    I want in attachment, not in the body mail.

    I think your only solution is to zip the image files first and then attach them.
    Read this from a site I found:
    Sending Graphical Attachments -- When you attach a graphical image to your message, the recipient of your message sees the image inline (that is, in the body of the message) if her email client supports inline display. ("Take Control of Email with Apple Mail" contains a table listing the capabilities of popular Mac and PC email clients.) If a client does not support inline display (or the recipient has turned off the inline display option), the file appears as an attachment that must be opened in a separate program.
    On the one hand, an inline image is easier for the recipient to see - all she has to do is look at it. On the other hand, inline images can be frustrating to scroll through. If you do not wish to send a graphical image inline, you must compress the file before attaching it - Mail, sadly, lacks a built-in compression option, though fortunately for Panther users, the Finder offers Zip compression without requiring a separate application.
    Note that when you compose a new message, Mail always shows attachments in the body of your message. You can manually drag them somewhere else, but many email clients display all attachments in a separate list, regardless of where you place them in the message body.
    If you paste an image into a message or drag & drop an image from another window (say, a Web browser), Mail converts the raw image data to an attachment in TIFF format. On the other hand, if you drag & drop the icon of an image file (or use the Attach button to locate the file using the file browser), Mail leaves the attached image in its original format. This difference is significant, because although most email clients can display JPEG images just fine, support for TIFF - especially in non-Mac email clients - is less common. If possible, I suggest attaching image files as opposed to pasting or dragging in raw image data.

  • Re: How can I post an image?

    Merging the hints, how does this look?
    Showing an image in Apple Discussions requires two things.
    1. The image has to exist and be accessible from a working server somewhere.
    2. Then the image can be referenced in html and will appear in your post.
    1. To achieve the first you need to register on one of the many free web photo hosting sites. An example of one would be Flicker. (If you have your own web site you can of course host your picture there.)
    Having taken a snapshot of the thing in question (the image), perhaps by using the Grab application on your Mac, you upload the image to your photo hosting site.
    You'll then need to get its URL from the site. It might be easy to see or you might have to read the site's FAQ for those details, as there are differences between sites.
    Easier still, if you are using Safari or Firefox right clicking (or Control click with a one button mouse) on the uploaded image will copy the link for you.
    It will have a form like this:
    http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2186/24541163585b68ff68b8s.jpg
    When you find it, open a new tab in your browser and paste it into it, to check that it displays and is therefore the correct URL for the image.
    2. To add this image to your post here on Apple Discussions, place an exclamation point before and after the link, illustrated as,
    !http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2186/24541163585b68ff68b8s.jpg&#033;
    which produces the image in the post.
    !http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2186/24541163585b68ff68b8s.jpg!
    An alternate html format is;
    <img src="http://source.address.of.image.jpg"/>

  • How can I add an image to a dowload, specialy if I bougth from I tunes?

    Hello
    How can I add an image to a dowload, specialy if I bougth from I tunes?

    That is not quite right. The image must be in a directory that is under the web server's view. JSP has nothing to do with images, the browser loads images separately after parsing the HTML results to find out what images it has to load. The images must be in a place that is servable by the web server being used.
    If you were just using Tomcat as a web server, then you would have a web application directory "myapp". The images need to go under "myapp" or in any subdirectory, except the WEB-INF directory, which is a special case.

  • How do I place an image over the header?

    I am new to web design and new to Dreamweaver CS4.  I have used 2 column template with header and footer.  I have got a header title (an image) but I want to place an image to the left of it in the top left corner of the web page.  I want the header region to be the height of the title as I want the image to have a greater height than the header area.  When I insert the image it goes into the header region and the header automatically increases its height to fit the image.  How can I overlay the image on the header rather than inserting it in the header?  Any help would be appreciated.

    Designing web pages is nothing like designing for print.   To achieve what you want , you'll either need to create a special header image in Photoshop or Fireworks that contains white space and/or slices from surrounding images.  Insert this new image into your header region.
    Or, you could simply place image in the background using CSS.  Then align your message text using CSS floats and margins.  See demo below for an example.

  • How do I place an image and insert a different photo for the "mouse down" state?

    I have placed an image within an accordian widget and when I select the "mouse down" area in the states dialog box, i click "fill" in the toolbar and insert the photo i want to display when the image is clicked but this image is "covered up" by the originally placed image and is not seen in my states dialog box.
    I have done this before when i made rectangles and placed images in rectangles. But i soon realized that you cannot add alternative text to images in rectangles for some frustrating reason.
    How do I place and image and have a different image for the mouse down state?

    Hello,
    This effect can only be achieved when you use the images as a Rectangle Fill. And as you mentioned it above, you cannot add alternative text to images because it is added as a fill and not as a image.
    I would suggest you to post this as a feature request on our "Ideas for features in Adobe Muse" section of the forums : http://forums.adobe.com/community/muse/ideas
