How can we really delete all artifacts in workspace 9.3.1.?
Is there a way to really delete all artifacts (all published oce's, bqy's, docs, WA reports, folders, subfolders, etc) from workspace 9.3.1?
I noticed that deleting a folder does not remove the subfolders and docs from workspace but just makes it invisible. They still exist in the database. If you are able to recreate the sqame folder again (and with alcm you can) the artifact which were invisible are back again.
Because of this "bug" but also after multiple ALCM imports our testenvironment seems to have problems whic I like to solve by deleting all content and reimporting them with ALCM from file export from production.

Well as this is fairly new to me I ask some advise from you experts :-)
I've been reading most parts of the developersguide now.
As far as I see I have to edit/ create a /cf file when I want to run a batch driver program.
I am able to run the program (at least it does not complain obout java or other errors anymore. But the batch_file.cf is not yet ready to do what I like to do.
Any one got a sample to run a recursive deletion of all content?

To transfer your photos:
Transfer and erase the Camera Roll:
Connect the iPad to your computer and launch Image Capture, iPhoto, or Aperture.
Select your iPad in the Devices list and click "Import all".
When the import finishes, you can erase the contents of the Camera Roll, if you want. That would be the quickest way, but deleting it on the iPad in the Photos.app would be safer, but more work.
Delete photos and video clips you synced to your computer using iTunes: Connect your device to your computer and, in iTunes, deselect the photos and video clips you want to remove from your device. Click Apply, and click Sync.

How can't I delete all content on my domain..?
Hey Im pretty new to Dreamweaver and I don't know what to do about my problem. I've set up a domain and succesfully uploaded a homepage, but now a need to make changes to the page so I have deleted all the files on my domain, updated etc. in the manage site window, there's nothing to be seen in my remote folder but when I check online the page is still there - how do I get rid of the content completely..?
If the page is still online that you upload a few things could be happening.
-The path is wrong and you never actually viewed the file you uploaded
-There is a permissions issue on the server and there is an error you are not telling us about
-There is an issue on the hosting side (maybe documents were restored, server crash, etc.)
-There is a browser caching issue.
I would first recommend talking with your host in case the issue is server related and if it's not then we will start pointing you towards the log files to further diagnose. -
How can I quickly delete all of my photos
I have more than 6,000 photos on my iPhone, but I recently synced them all to my Windows PC. So far as I can tell, the only way to delete them, is to select them one by one....and then they end up in the "recently deleted" photos folder, so I end up having to delete them twice. To delete more than 7,000 photos would take me days. I don't want to restore my phone to factory settings because I have all my apps, work email, songs, etc on my phone. Is there an easier way to delete all of these pictures?

This can be done easily by re-importing the images to your PC, and choosing to delete the images from your iPhone when importing them. When importing to your PC again you may even choose to import the photos to a secondary location to be used for backup purposes.

Which history items are you referring to?
The browsing history is stored in the places.sqlite file.
You can try to restore a previous version of the places.sqlite file if it is about history.

How can I prevent deleted mail from ending up in "All Mail" and "Archives"?
To my horror, I emptied these boxes and lost all my mail from all my boxes .
All mail also disappeared from my iPad, I suppose because they are "synched"

Thanks for any thoughts.I'm having a similar but slightly different problem. My company just migrated to Gmail, and it's saving mail drafts every 30 seconds into my Trash folder.
I unchecked the "Show in IMAP" preference in the Gmail settings, but my Drafts folder completely disappeared. I went back and checked it and the folder reappeared (with my drafts still in there).
I like the idea if starting an email on my laptop and having the option of finishing it on my iPhone or iPad, so only saving Drafts locally would not be ideal. -

You should have been syncing your contacts to your computer regularly. Just sync them back ot the iphone from your computer.

I cannt synk them to iTunes because lots of songs are not in iTunes now. This will delete my lots of songs.
I deleted some of songs by iPhone.but now it until shows all that songs.they seems partially visible not like other song totally black.actual songs are 701 shown in setting.in the music it shows 901. How can I permanently delete them???I called Apple and spoke with a customer service representative regarding this issue. I was given the two things to try, and if they don't work, I was told I can call back in:
1. Go to iCloud.com and look at the advanced options. Since Photos can be deleted here, the representative thought there may be an option to remove songs here as well.
2. Go into the library that has the songs that were deleted and click Update iTunes match.
I tried #1--this didn't resolve the issue, as there is no option to remove songs this way. I can't try #2 right now since I'm at work, but if anybody else with this issue can try that step it can help us get the ball rolling on it. After I try that, I'll call Apple back to discuss this further. -
How can I permantely delete email information from my iphone4?
I deleted all my emails from inbox and trash, but the Mail "file" still has 2GB...Does anyone have an answer to this problem? It's been 4 or 5 days now and iCloud still says I have 0kb of 5GB available, and 6.1GB of mail on iCloud. I guess that's better than yesterday when it said I had 8.3GB of mail. Does anyone know if it simply takes Apple a week to actually empty a mailbox?

You can't delete all cookies if you want to preserve some of them.
You will have to let all cookies expire when you close Firefox and create an allow exception for cookies that you want to keep and only clear cookies manually and not via Clear Recent History.

When you sync an IP with iTunes AND you have some purchased music that was downloaded directly to your IP, a box pops up asking if you want to transfer that data to your computer. The box clearly says if you don't, the music will be erased from your IP. As the previous poster states, I believe you can download the music again at no additional charge.

How can I REALLY downgrade my iCloud storage? Apple is trying to scam ppl out of $$. They will NOT allow you to downgrade per their instructions. It ALWAYS says the iCloud manager is not available, try later. Here is what my email says:

No... the "done" button will not light up, and it says the iCloud manager is "not available at this time. Try again later." This is a known problem... fix it.
<Edited By Host>Thank you Roger! Going into my iTunes at least allowed me to delete my credit card info so they can't charge it. In the meantime, after 2 calls I finally got connected to a Senior Advisor from Apple who was able to manually go into my account and remove the automatic charge to my credit card. After sharing my screen, she was able to see the issue many others are having being unable to downgrade. There is a bug in the system that tells you the manage storage is "unavailable at this time". She followed me through several of these threads and realized it is actually an issue. She took all the relevant information and will submit a bug fix request. She even admitted that goal and apple were having an issue syncing to the correct time zone at that there was no know fix at this time. While frustrating, the honesty was refreshing.
Thank you SO much for you quick response on this! My apologies for my tone; this was my first time using this forum. I went through Apple support and didn't realize that there are no Apple employees on here. I was on the line with someone from customer service that wasn't as helpful at the time and was very frustrated..
Thanks again for your help! To all others having this problem, keep calling Apple tech support until you get a Senior Advisor - they will help!! The advisor even told me to tell people to call in and that they need to manually downgrade on their end until they get this issue resolved.
