How can you get Tomcat to autostart on reboot (and stay up when logged out)?

I am running Tomcat 4.1.27 app server on W2000. I have placed the startup file ("startup.bat") in the registry to execute upon reboot. It executes fine, but it doesn't stay up (window closes asap). I was hoping to find a minimize flag option or another strategy... Does anyone have a good way to do this for a production system? Thanks, Mark Anderson ([email protected])

You can run tomcat as a service by doing the following (assuming you installed the Tomcat supplied with Plumtree and assuming that you unzipped it on the D drive):
1.Launch D:\jakarta-tomcat-4.1.18-LE-j2sdk1.4.1_02\bin\installsvc.bat
2.You will see a message saying that the service was successfully installed - press any key to continue

Just got 6280 off ebay - the phone was new as no scratches, no signs of wear and still had plastic covers on screen and camera lens. It was SIM free and I was using it on T mobile.
All worked fine for a couple of days, then decided to download an mp3 to the phone from my PC. During the transfer the phone went off. Retried again. Same thing happend. Perhaps the problem with this particular unit is why it was put on sale on eBay in the first place? (The original owner didn't get it replaced or fixed, but decided it was easier to pass it on to somebody else.)
You might also want to try to return it to the eBay seller you bought it from, as it seems to be broken. Though, I imagine it would be easier if you had bought it from a shop/retailer instead.

When I was in the process of syncing a song from my iTunes Library on to my iPod, a window popped up on the screen saying, ""The iPod "Edward's iPod" cannot be synced. An unknown error occured (13019)). I click "Device" on my iTunes Library to make sure the song was in my iPod. It showed the song that was recently synced now listed under "Device", but when I physically looked for the song on my iPod Touch, it does not appear on there at all. It all started when I decided to put a Playlist I created in the iTunes Library and transferred it on to my iPod. Do you know why it may affected my syncing process and is there any way where I could get the syncing function back to normal so that I can continue adding songs on my iPod? Thank you for listening. P.S. My iPod iOS version is 4.3.5.

Hmmm... Submit button doesn't need a double click at all. Maybe you are talking about the two-step process? When you click on Submit, the feedback appears with the message to click anywhere or press Y. Is that what you are talking about? If you are talking about a real double-click, something must be wrong in your file. And which version are you using?

We need the Request Restart ability when scheduling a single reoccurring job in Redwood. Most of our jobs are scheduled in CHAINs which offers the Final Status Handler on Step level, and the schedule is "paused" when a job in the CHAIN has failed ( the next instance does not populate until the OP MSG has been Replied to) , and once the OPERATOR message is replied to, the CHAIN can resume running again ( desired ) . But we need this same ability when scheduling a single job not in a CHAIN. In our testing, we set up a job with Request Restart chosen on the Error , Killed and Unknown selections on the Restart Behavior Tab. But we found when a job is scheduled say once a day at 8AM, and when it fails, an OPERATOR msg appears allowing a Restart choice ( desired), but the next day's schedule also populates ( undesired) and we do NOT want the schedule to continue on yet because we need a chance to fix the error before the next insance runs for business reasons. So how can you get the schedule of a single reoccurring job with Restart ability in Redwood to pause when it has failed...?

Hello Fran,
You can wrap the job chain in a master job chain in the first step and set the final status handler there.
You can also set the Restart Behavior to 'Stop Submit Frame', in that case you will have to resubmit the job once you are finished troubleshooting.

Connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore via iTunes. If iTunes asks for the passcode and you can't enter the passcode or you do not have the syncing computer, place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore. For recovery mode see:
