I work on BOXIR2 SP4 and with Dasboard builder.
I made some hyperlinks on my WebIntelligence reports to drill through so that user can have more details when he follows the links that open a new report in the same page.
But the big problem is that when he wants to come back in the prior report, wich contains prompts, he have to fill prompts again !
Do you know how I can get the last page he saw ?
I would like to put a link "Back" for exemple in my page.
I don't want to open hyperlinks in another page because at the end, there will be many pages opened and it is better for him to stay in the same page.
Thanks for your help, it is so important that users don't want to use portal BO without a solution ! Does anybody solve this problem ?

In fact I will do an other hyperlinks in the second report with prompts filled for the first one to get main report. It is silly but I am sure it will work...

Why do episodes come back after I delete them?

After I delete podcasts from the iPhone they always come. Ack the next day. They are showing all the way back to December.

But it's only supposed to download new content. So if I delete old items, then I expect to only auto download the new items from that day.

I keep getting deleted mail back.

If you're on pop, deleting mail off the iPad will only get rid of it off the device, to stop this from happening you need either IMAP or delete the messages yourself fom the server

hi. does anyone know after deleting a tv/movie program via swiping its gone and then when turn off
i touch and turn it back on its there again? is there a setting in the i touch that is wrong? I am running the I touch on the 2.2 system. If this system is the problem, how do I get back to the last operating system. thanks all

no this seems to happen. happens with podcasts as well. you delete them, they're gone, then you switch it off and they are back, yet you can't play them.
i didn't realise this for a while, as i leave mine in sleep mode most of the time.
as far as i know, the item is still removed from the ipod, (at least when i just tried it, the available memory went up), there just seems to be 'ghost memory' of it. a sync will wipe the memory of the video/podcast from the ipod.
you can downgrade to the last software if you are that worried about it (search google or this forum, there is info on how to do it around), but it doesn't cause me that many problems.

case is,
i connected my iphone for the first time ever to itunes, it showed two options, to choose it as a new iphone or if i have any other user. so i thought i had an old user, so i just chose the second option. it appeared i didnt have any old user for my iphone but only for my ipod, and the next step itunes did was restarting my my phone, and deleting all of my memories. since it was the first time ive ever connected my phone to itunes i didnt do any back up for it, i didnt use icloud, nor dropbox. so what can i do to get my memories back?

If you did not back up, they are gone.

Podcasts keep coming back after I delete them!

I have an iPhone 3Gs (running OS 3.0, of course). I have checked "Manually manage music and videos" in iTunes 8.2 (23). The problem is that podcast episodes I have already listened to and deleted on the iPhone itself keep reappearing there every time I manually drag ANY episode -- even if it's an entirely different podcast -- to the iPhone in iTunes.
I've tried unchecking the no-longer-needed episodes in iTunes (not that that should matter, since I'm manually managing everything), and even DELETING them from iTunes altogether. Doesn't matter. They still magically reappear on my iPhone!
When I drag a podcast episode to the iPhone in iTunes, the status message first says "copying 1 of 1: [name-of-podcast]." Then, briefly it says "Syncing iPhone..." I'm guessing that maybe it's in this last part where some cached copy (?) is getting re-sent. Or maybe it didn't really get deleted from the iPhone when I swiped it and clicked Delete?? I dunno...
This is very annoying as it's difficult to remember which ones I've already listened to and which ones I haven't, when none of them will go away.
Anyone else experiencing this? Known bug?? Fixes???

EDIT: I just realized something else: the episodes that reappear on the iPhone appear to be phantoms. If I actually tap one, the list screen slides to the left to reveal the play screen, but for only a moment; then it slides right back. So the episode isn't really there. Seems to be a problem with the iPhone's management of its podcast lists.

A new observation:
After deleting the podcasts on the phone itself (by swiping the title and then tapping the Delete button that appears), I connect the phone to my computer and launch iTunes. Under "Devices:iPhone" I click "Podcasts" and it shows the list of podcasts that iTunes thinks are still on the phone. The ones I deleted still show up in that list. This would explain why they reappear on the phone's list after I drag new podcasts into it from iTunes. But again, they're not really there. They're just in the list.
So, it seems that the only way to completely rid the phone's podcast list of the ones I delete from the phone is to also manually delete those entries +*from iTunes*+ the next time I connect.
Anyone have any idea if Apple is aware of this??

Sorry about that. Unless you have a backup of your Profile your data is gone.

Are you talking about text message or email?
The only way to get a text message back is to restore from a backup that included that message.
For email I would check your trash folder on your PC.

How to recover to keep tablespaces working after datafile deleted on OS

hi,
given situation like this :
1. OS HPUX 11i
2. Oracle 9.2 or 10g
3. tablespace AAA have a datafile AAA.dbf
4. AAA.dbf has been deleted by a guy on OS by accident
5. it's a production database , i have other copy of product running elsewhere
6. we can forget about the data on this tablespace , just wanna make sure new data will still be inserted
I know there is a magic way involving file descritpor to recovery the file on OS if it was still opened by the process
seems it only works on linux or solaris , since HPUX don't have /proc
here is what i had done ,
1. offline drop the tablespace
2. export tablespace AAA from other DB without data but everything else
3. import them into DB without AAA now
only problem seems application couldn't insert into the tables ,Object priveledge not granted
i'd checked the export file , those object grant SQL are right there , i just don't know why import hasn't worked
so my question is
if it were you ,
1.do you have any better idea of how to recover
2.if you any dirty and fast way of recovery File on HP box , appreciate that too
3.can you image why import doesn't seems getting priveledge imported ? my DB version 9.2.0.4

to clear it up ... it's not me who did it , one of our guys , same thing ,hum ~~
he deleted the backup , cause it's full and auto backup is not ongoing , and he's trying to make things right
he deleted the datafile , cause i told him to rename the file to another space , coz vgdb is full , screw up that too ..
yeah , it'a real production database ~~ , so ,if anybody learn somethings on this , credit on me , :)
the version is 9.2.0.4 , but gonna move to 10g soonor or later , so put it there , to see if in 10g , we can do better ..
tablespace created like five years ago , so , apply all archive since would be crazy ~
this database have 500 Tablespaces , and thoudsands of tables , and the one lost is a important one ,
but data in it , we can bear loss
what i do , is offline drop the tablespace , and import the tablespace without data from other production DB ...
only it didn't work out so well with object grant , and application still not inserting ...
why i post it here , is i wanna learn better ways in this kind of situations ...
i thought my way is not good enough
anway , i'll look at all your suggestions

Since I updated to OS7.1 I cannot delete my visual voicemails. Can any one help me with this issue?

Managed to fix it myself. Called my iPhone from another mobile phone and left myself a voicemail. Once I listened to it using the visual voicemail icon, it allowed me to clear all my visual voicemails.
