How do I access iTunes on a shared computer?

My computer died, I am using a shared computer and the other user already has iTunes under his own account. Is there any way to access my iTunes account on this computer without doing anything to his iTunes?

i have the same problem. the computer one of our itunes was on broke. it was replaced. apple dont cater for this. you can only link an apple device to one itunes. so if the computer is replaced, you are stuffed!!
i installed another itunes on another computer and the original ipod wont sync with it or allow itunes to download the latest ipod operating system.
the easiest thing to do would be to buy a new ipod (clear of content) and a new pc. install itunes on the pc, create a new apple ID and voila - can then start to put music and apps back on ipod and have the lastest and greatest OS.
expensive i admit, but surely far less painful then any alternative?

Really not suitable.. The TC is a dumb hard disk in a router.. it is not a media server..
You can move your itunes library to the TC.. but if you do that.. one day the TC will die and take your library with it.. as well as giving slow response to every network device.. this is really not suitable.

Hi Jennifer, I'm having the exact same problem. I have tried uninstall. reinstall. Change accounts. Nothing works. My songs are still there but when I click on itunes store the screen is blank. ??? Come on windows people how do we fix?

They should be in your itunes media folder. Use an external hard drive and just copy that to your new computer. I'm sure there's an easier way like this one (iTunes>File>Library>Export Library>External Hard Drive) but I never tried it before. Anyways, once that's done, just simply authorize your itunes account to play music you bought on to the new computer.

They are there as iTunes can't find the files. I get what you want to say. Try to remember if you had a hard drive or USB Stick containg Music? As removing it would cause iTunes to look for it. On a PC the iTunes apps and stuff are in Music>iTunes>iTunes Media

I'm not sure what you mean, precisely - I opened settings, then I opened "itunes store", then opened "app store", but not sure how to log out, and back in on the phone? After a complete uninstall and new download of iTunes 10.5.0.142x64 help started working about 11 last night. The first thing I did was print out the help book, which was 103 pages. The help was not working this morning when I came back to the computer. I was concerned that this problem might affect other features of iTunes, so I called Apple tech support. They told me it was a known problem, which only affected the help feature and it would be corrected in the next release of iTunes. I shall hold off upgrading our other iPhones until the new release.

Are you getting a 306 error for either Safari or iTunes?
