How do I add another computer to authorize on my account list so I can use or redeem my gift cards and use my store credit?

You can authorize up to 5 computers.
To authorize you need to install iTunes on the computer to be authorized:
Open iTunes
From Store in the menu bar, choose Authorize This Computer. (If the menu bar is not visible hit CTRL-B).
When prompted, enter your Apple ID and password, then click Authorize.

They all sync my list of purchased itunes, but the newest ipod I bought is not syncing my itunes list. What is problem? I undersood I can sync up to 5 devices under my accout. No problem, just "deauthorize all" and then authorize the four individually. You will lose nothing - except the ability to "deauthorize all" for another year.
Don't change your Apple ID.

You can log into your account via the Store > Sign In menu option on your Mac's iTunes :
You will also need to authorise the account via the 'Authorise This Computer' on the same, above, Store menu.
To listen to your music on that Mac, you might be able to :
- redownload your iTunes purchases on it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage. Or you can go into iTunes > Preferences, command-comma, and on the Store tab tick the 'show iTunes in the cloud purchases' tickbox so that they might show in the My Music part of your iTunes library for redownloading.

or your backup of your downloads/library via File > Add To Library

How to add another Computer to my Apple TV?

I've had my apple TV for a while and really like it. If I rember correctly it used to be easy to add another computer to my Computer list on Apple TV. But for some reason I can't seem to do it anymore.
I intend to take my main home imac down for maintenance over the weekend. I run my itunes library from an external hard drive.
What I want to do is take my external drive with my itunes library and connecvt it to my macbook and run my apple TV from there while my main imac is down.
I thought that if I launched the itunes on the macbook, then enabled homesharing then my macbook would appear on my apple TV compuers list and I could just select it..
But it doesn't!
Any ideas?
One thng that it maybe is that my apple TV is connected to my imac via a physical eithernet.
Would it make sence to diosconnect that and go WiFi and then see if my apple TV picks up the macbook?

Is the MB setup with the same home sharing ID as the iMac? It should make no difference whether you are on wifi or ethernet, in fact any issues with discovery are typically related to wifi.
