How do I adjust my titles so they don't fade in and out? I have hundreds of photos/videos on screen for a second or so each, for a year-long birthday video, and I need the dates in my titles to be steady rather than fading in and out spastically.
I have been working on a project since December of 2012 for my son's first birthday. Basically, it's a photo or quick video each day of his life so far. I used the "upper" title and made the titles not fade in and out, because that could give someone a seizure. The idea is a seamless title that ticks away each day. But in the new iMovie, it changed my settings, and I can't for the life of me find how to change them back.
Now, each date flashes in and out, in and out, in and out. Fractions of seconds go by. It's really distracting and annoying.
How do I get the titles to remain on screen and not fade in and out? I had it just how I wanted it, but now we're rapidly approaching my son's birthday, and the video is suddenly a mess.
How do I fix this?

Locked how? If it's passcode locked and you don't know the passcode, you don't have any choice but to restore it. -
I have hundreds of photos on my computer but when I click on the photo all that comes up is a gray screen with with an exclamation mark.

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. I used Article: HT2109 to transfer everything from my iPod touch 3g, iOS 5.1.1, to my iPod touch 5g, iOS 6.1.3. Why did data from apps NOT move to the new device? Games are starting over rather than picking up where they were on the old device?
- If you restored the 5G frmm the iTunes backup of the 3G were th app in the iTunes library of the computer you used? They have to be.
- If yes then try again. When I first restored my iPad 4 from the iTunes backup of my iPad 1 app data did not transfer. I tried again and it did. -
All contact birthdays are now listed as the date before
Weird problem that affects my iCal and Address Book. I've recently noticed that every single one of my contacts' birthdays are now listed as the date prior to the actual birthday (the date that was entered in the first place). Not sure when this happened, but it has been since upgrading to Snow Leopard (but I'm not really sure that it occurred because of the upgrade). Has anyone had this problem? I'd love a quick fix, one that doesn't require me manually changing every single contact's birthday. But more than that, I'd like to know why this happened in order to hopefully prevent it in the future. Thanks.
I just discovered the same thing.Had to got through and manually change every birthday. Interestingly, the change was in Addressbook, which is where iCal gets its info.

trying to make an ibook and have 800 photos, want format of 8 photos/page, but default is not that- "create" the initial book from iphoto "album" it loads less than 800 pics and then when i change layout i have blanks.
if i clear the book so that it is all blanks and then try to load in the pictures i have it loses the chronology of the pictures that i had established in the album.
is there a way to import photos into an ibook template and keep the original order of the photos without having to do them one at a time?
also, is there a way to insert a photo rather than just dragging it? i have tried the cut and paste funciton but it doesn't seem to work, the target site doesn't seem to register with iphoto.
many thanks for your help.Photos are added to book in chronological order. So if you want to add them to a book in the order you have placed them manually in an album do the following:
1 - select all the photos in the album.
2 - use the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Date menu option as shown here. Select any date and add 1 minute between photos.
3 - select just one photo from the album and create a book from it.
4 - in the book click on the Options button ➙ Book Settings button and make sure the checkbox for Auto-layout pages is unchecked.
5 - drag the album with your book photos onto the book icon and they will be imported into the Photos tray of the book in your pre-determined order but not into the pages themselves.

I took it to d istore and since I had warranty they replaced my IPhone. It iPad charger has high volt than ur iPhone charger so when u connect wit it, there is a chance where large amount of current passes thru ur iPhone. So for sure it wil damage ur motherboard and its parts! Many said that iOS 6 or 6.0.1 or 6.1 was d reason for tis wifi prob! But apple never made its mistake wit it's software. If and only if u hav hardware prob u wil hav these sort of wifi prob Bluetooth prob! So best way s to replace ur iPhone!

I have been taking screenshots on my mac book pro and they have been saving to my desktop. However when i try to move them into a folder, they don't move at all! I have changed my setting in view options to 'none' but they still don't move?
Got to your Desktop folder in the Finder sidebar, command i will open the info pane.
What are your permissions here? Unlock the pad lock and Change to read write.

If you just replaced the router with an Airport Extreme or Express:
disconnect the modem from power, disconnect the new router from power, connect the modem to power and wait till it os fully started up, then connect the new router to power. After a while the amber light will turn to flashing, then after a while it will turn to green. Then with AirportUtility (in Aplications/Utilities) it should be configured with the password. -
Is it possible to undo the Ken Burns effect on all photos at once in iMovie, rather than clicking "crop" and "fit" on each individual photo?
Hey Villiam, Kevin is referring to setting a movement on a photo setting keyframes (like zoom out to in), right-clicking on Motion, and choose save as preset. This will put that movement into your presets folder under Effects. I am going to try this on my next montage and see if I can find some efficiencies. Thanks Kevin, that was a great tip!!!
Also thanks to Jim. I spent like 30 min looking at all the keyboard shortcuts. It's a little overwhelming to establish a solid shortcut format that a team of editors can learn and use. I'm going to be trying the FCP short cuts, then go back to the default. It looks like the PR default has a lot of existing and helpful shortcuts assigned already. It's just going to take getting used to a new platform.
I'm still looking for tools and/or methods to allow an editor to assemble a 60 second montage with 10 photos, VO and music in 30 minutes. It's going to be a challenge but I think it's possible with the right innovative process. I'll still challenge anyone to find a way to quickly assemble a montage in an assembly line or template-based fashion using Adobe Premiere CC where there's on-screen text, advanced transitions, timed to VO, etc.
I think I'm dreaming for a tool to automatically do this within Premiere, while I think the answer for now might just be customizing motion presets and creating a favorites folder of transitions that can be dragged onto each clip. I'll see if there’s a way to apply a set of transitions or motion presets to a series of photos on the timeline opposed to doing it one by one. I can see this solution being important as video montages are becoming more popular in our industry, and the faster we can make them using a professional software package like Premiere the more prosperous we will be. -

iPhoto should be still in your Applications folder and will still work. But if you failed to keep it up to date then Try Terence's instructions here Is Iphoto gone ?i want it back!

My txt message settings recently changed to send txts from my Mac email rather than my phone# and there doesn't seem to be a way to change the settings back. The phone# in receive at screen is under intensified so unselectable. Any suggestions?
After reading what you have posted, I checked my iPhone 4S. When looking at messages in settings, my receive at has 2 addresses, my phone number and my Apple ID email address. The phone number is "under intensified" as you describe it. Checking the Caller ID, it shows my phone number and Apple ID email. The phone number is checked. This all seems to be the same as you describe yours. My text messages are all working as they always have, and they are showing as coming from my phone number. Both to people that I iMessage with and people that I can only text with. I'm not sure why you say texts are being sent from your Mac email. Did someone receive a text that shows the email as the return address?

Thanks for your input. However I am not certain we have resolved this issue adequately, or understand the principles governing the css as regards this spry menu framework 2.0 (1.0).
For example, the menu only works in IE 6.0 if the css remains in the head. I agree with your original post that it shouldn't make any difference whether the css is posted in the head or in a separate style sheet (so long as specificity issues are addressed). Both should work -- and yet it doesn't.
If the CSS is placed in the separate style sheet governing the total site, it doesn't work for 6.0. If placed at the top of the style sheet, conflicts of specificity prevent the menu from rendering properly in any of the browsers causing the rules for general links to govern the menu. This has been verified using a cross browser testing. If the styles are placed at the bottom of the style sheet to help them take precedence, they work in all the browsers except for IE 6.
The website I am building needs to support IE 6 for a variety of reasons, and because it is catering to the non-profit community and to low income persons, I am mindful of even small differences in page weight.
So for me, at least, the issue remains baffling.
I appreciate your input, but also would appreciate the input from others, and especially Adobe Community Professionals and employees. The spry framework in this regard is not well documented. I am not certain if this is exclusively a CSS problem, if it might also be complicated by the architecture of the spry framework, or if indeed other variables are at play.
I would be my hope that in resolving the problem, other users of the this particular spry framework might also benefit.
