How do I change the name and cover of a ebook in ibooks for mac?
I have iBooks on my macbook pro and would like to change the name and cover of some epub books I dowloaded. How do I go about doing this, if there a get info like in itunes that I just can't find?
Try Calibre for Mac, available on macupdate.com. It's clunky to have to use 3rd party software, but until Apple fixes the abomination that is iBooks, that's what we'll have to do.

if you have an iTunes account you can go into the settings and choose store
-after getting to the store settings it should show her apple id
-tap her apple id and choose to sign out
-once signed out just tap the same section again to sign in with an existing apple id
-after you have changed the setting in the iphone you can now go into the store with your own apple id and billing info

Regardsopen the process chain and go to edit mode and then press Ctrl+F6 for a rename... you can only rename the description and not the technical name.
If you want to edit PC in production - esp one which has been transported - go to transport connection and change the object changeability for the same to everything changeable ( right click on the same to get this option ) -

How do you change the name of a reminder in the reminder list. I right click and then choose "get information" I can change the colour of the reminder but when I type in the name that I want and then press enter the name stays as "untitled"

Thanks for replying again. I've got a little bit further thanks to you. I tried the US keyboard layout as you seemed pretty definte that it should work. This time I applied the setting and also started the language toolbar and selected it from there.
Hey presto, I've got the @ where it should be. Excellent.
However the single quote ' works in a weird way. When I press it, it doesn't show up on the screen. But when I press another key, I get the single quote plus the next key I press. When I press the single quote twice, I get 2 of them. This is also the same with the SHIFT ' key. i.e. for the double quotes.
Very strange. I'll look at other keyboards and see where that gets me.

Every time I download a file to my macbook pro, it saves it to downloads but changes the name and inserts % sign. Please advise how to correct the name that it is saved under.
Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.

If it's the iCloud email address that is incorrect, you cannot change it. If it's a non iCloud address, you can change it at My Apple ID -

Yes. Select one or more tracks (use ctrl or shift clicks to add/remove or extend a selection) then right-click or press CTRL-I to Get Info. Use the different tabs of the dialog to make changes.
