It sounds like your iCloud Apple ID has a phone number associated with it that you would like to update. If this is the case, after signing in to the linked website below, you will see a section on the left side of the screen labeled Phone Numbers. You can edit the phone number associated with that account from there.

Hi all, just downloaded a security update on my new iphone 4S. The phone may be more secure but all the Aps icons have been downgraded in art quality why would this be. Hi KiltedTim, as a newbie to Apple, iphones and forums I would appreciate an explanation of the 'Trolls and Mods' comments on your posting. I presume the Mods are Apple sentinels but am I really a Troll just because I made a criticism of the new iOS version (even though I did not know I was actually doing that). Am I a Troll to you because you personally disapprove of criticism of the new iOS or is Troll used by the community to describe anyone who speaks up if they are not happy about a change. Please understand that by asking these questions it is not my intention to be confrontational (I’ve been called far worse than a Troll over the years) but as I’m new to the group an insight into the politics may be beneficial. Can I tell from looking at the text usage on my acct if texts are being sent to a blocked number?
I blocked a number on a phone on my plan a couple of days ago, and was wondering if there's a way to tell from looking at the text usage, where it lists the numbers that are being texted, if you can see when the blocked number being texted? I saw that some weird numbers were being texted that started in alot of zeros like "000000###" and a couple times where there was messages received by these weird numbers.

Texts that begin with 00000 with additional numbers are known as short codes. For example messages I receive from Meijer have a code of 0000634537

All my songs and pictures are not transferring from my old phone !!!!!!
I had the iphone 4S and yesterday I went and got the iphone 5. I am trying to transfer everything using my icloud. All my apps,notes,txt msgs,contacts... everything like that was added onto my new phone. My pictures & music however, are still all adding, it has been loading since last night, this morning I noticed that it has stopped loading on this one song, and this one picture ( I have ALOT of pictures & music) so when I go into my photo app is says " downloading 2,027 of 2,984 " and it hasnt changed for hours!!! Same with my music I go into itunes and it says I have 26 songs left to download and they are not loading, they all say " waiting..." below them!!!
What should I do ? ..or will it EVENTUALLY load. I must have enough space on this new phone because I did on my old one....and I have deleted quite a few apps that were added from my old phone to my new one.

You should have been storing everything on your computer and regularly backing up your computer.
If you failed to do that, then you may be able to get your pics from photo stream

I have a little problem. It´s not really a Swing problem as you may believe by reading below, it´s about object creation.
I have a JFrame class called TransactionDialog. The TransactionDialog contains a JPanel with a CardLayout.
The CardLayout contains two components:
1) JPanelStep1 (an own class that extends JPanel)
2) JPanelStep2 (an own class that extends JPanel)
I want a variable in JPanelStep2 to depend on what the user does in JPanelStep1.
The question:
Both the JPanelStep1 and JPanelStep2 objects are created in the TransactionDialog class. How can I call the JPanelStep2 object (which is created in TransactionDialog ) from JPanelStep1 if JPanelStep1 has to be created before JPanelStep2 in the TransactionDialog class?Jacobs has the right idea.
If this variable is part of the SWING display, you can do it the quick and easy way by passing that display object to JPanelStep1 and allowing that panel to mutate the value.
For instance:
JPanelStep1 step1 = new JPanelStep1();
JPanelStep2 step2 = new JPanelStep2();
step1.setDependent(step2.getDependent());
And the methods would be for example:
void setDependent(JTextField field) {
this.field = field;
JTextField getDependent() {
return field;
And whenever the user interacts with JPanelStep1 and you want to alter the text as it displays in JPanelStep2 you just make a call in JPanelStep1 to:
field.setText(updatedText);
Do not forget though that if you do not have your MDT squared away, the update might not occur immediately, without calling to your JFrame or throwing a thread on the MDT with invokeAndWait() -
The profile i install is from this website www.freemyapps.com, as the installer prompt out and i had accidentaly click install but i feel unconfortable, is anyone can tell me whether the profile is safe? Because it will require my phone id, even though they promise will not leak our id, would appreciate if antone told me whether the profile is ok?
hmm this is not an app, i done before a beta testing of game from a game developer, and they required me to install the profile to my phone which is will able to locate in settings>general after installed. (so that the developer will able to trace the UDID of my phone and send the beta version of the apps to me direct) But the profile will have expired date and can even remove them from your phone.
but the profile from this website seems cannot find in the settings there, I wonder could it due to the iOS? previously i done beta testing when it is still iOS 4. -
does anyone know what is going on with my phone? I don't think I'm causing this, but you never know. my home page where the phone, camera, messages, etc...all the icons will get giant....maybe 3 will be on the screen instead of the normal 20.....I have to move the screen around to find what I need to open and then I cannot...so I turn off the phone, when the red arrow appears, and have to hold down one side of the screen to make the arrow move, If I try to slide it over with my finger..........I can't get it to the end.....eventually the phone will shut off and then I turn it on again and the icons are normal....but this happens several times a week and I would like it not to happen , what can I do?

I was simply going to write that you were incorrect and there are no plus signs either, but I was certian you knew what was supposed to happen, and that I wasn't going soft either. So after staring at it for a while it just came to me: the file was full! I deleted just one favorite and both the plus and the Add to Favorites button appeared where you described.

i have a story about my sister, am talking on her behalf, she got stolen her phone at a caffee when she just come from a horeble exam, she was very mad and having haedace for not doing well at the exam, i ask her if we could have coffee before we go home, once she sate; while i was getting the coffee for her, some one snicked to her pocket and took the phone, immidatly she feelt it and went on to searching, but nathing was hopefull. what makes it more heart braking is that she worked day and night just to buy the phone and pay for her books and so on as a student. she use to work 16 houres a day before she had to start school. 8 houres in one place and then to the other place. and she was always demanding for more houres to work; one day her boss saw her on her other job and she was serprised to see her and saied OHhh my God Milly if you work like this, i wonder if you servive, how could you also ask for more houres, My sis had to do it she has no parents or any thing, well the phone was taken after only two months of having it. the sad thing is she stile dream having it even though she can't think of buying againe. well me i have tryed a lot of things but i know some were out there there is a solution for people like this, it is not always fare for some one who has payed up to 800 to just loose his ......
ThnksI'm sorry, but your sister, unless she had already turned on the "Find my iPhone" feature and the person who took the phone has not disabled it, is out of luck. She should report the theft to local police authorities, including the serial number of her iPhone. While her experience is unfortunate, there are good reasons why Apple cannot do anything else about it.
I hope she gets her phone back.

The information outlined below details how to go about changing the phone number used to obtain a Verification Code.
Make sure that you have a strong cellular network connection on your phone.
Make sure that your phone number can get SMS messages. To check, ask someone to send you a text message.
Make sure that the correct phone number is associated with your account:
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, tap Settings > iCloud > Keychain > Advanced. (In iOS 7, tap Settings > iCloud > Account > Keychain.) Make sure the phone number under Verification Number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences. Click iCloud, then click Options next to Keychain. (In OS X Mavericks or earlier, click iCloud, then click Account Details.) Make sure the phone number under Verification number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.
If you can't access a device that has iCloud Keychain enabled, contact Apple Support and verify your identity to get help setting up iCloud Keychain.

I unfortunately just got my IPhone 4s stolen.I thought I had the find my iPhone enabled but I didn't because I cannot locate the phone when I sign in ICloud.I have a password on the phone but i'm not sure if I turned on the option where the phone resets if you incorrectly put the password more than ten time. I immediately called my phone company (Verizon) and reported the phone stolen.So I know whoever took the phone cannot place calls or use the phone. But can they still access my data on the phone if they manage to unlock the phone? If so how can I erase all data on the phone so the thief can't access my personal information? is there any other way other than Find my IPhone to wipe off the data on the phone? I really don't want my personal information such as pictures, text messages, notes and social networks profile available to a stranger!!? Help please!!!

You are able to activate an old device and process an insurance claim for your iPhone 4s within 60days from the incident date. Keep in mind if the old phone is not a smartphone and you currently have unlimited data that feature will fall off. If you have a tier data plan no changes will be made.
