What id shows at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app ? If it's the old email address that you had on your account then try tapping on it and log out of your account and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPad.

Is it still languishing in a cloned version of your system ... or in a copy somewhere. Were this the case, the App Store would locate it (or some remaining vestige) and think you still have it.

I think you need to reset those questions. You'll need to call the tech support for your country, ask to be connected to the Account Security Team and then ask if they can reset the questions for you.

ITunes & App Store in Mac show old e-mail when using "Tell a Friend"

Hi,
I have changed my e-mail address on my Apple Account a while ago. All seems to work and when i go to manage the account it shows my current e-mail.
But when i use "Tell a Friend" feature in the iTunes Store and in the App Sore in Mac is shows my old e-mail. Where can i update this please?

Quick summary:
Under parental controls, disable the app store option but enable the iTunes U option. Click okay. Wait for iTunes to load iTunes U. Once that's done, go back to parental controls and enable the app store option and voila! problem solved. Strange but true. =)

When ever you purchase anything on the app store it is assigned to the apple id it was downloaded with, this means any updates on that app, also have to be updated with that apple id.
If you are using multiple apple ids, each app will need to be updated using that specific apple id that it was purchased (free or not) with.

App Store Update keeps showing even after installing

the app store on my macbook air keeps showing an update for MacBook Air SMC Firmware update 1.8. it shows 1.66f60 is installed in the system info page.
the MacBook air is late 2010 with OS X 10.9 Mavericks. The update acts like it is installing but, it still shows up in the app store update even after rebooting.

If you have given correct info about you ios 6.1.3 - all you need to do is delete account. You will be able to sign in with new one afterwards. Make sure you don't delete any info when you see those prompts.
