The title says it all. How do I consolidate all of my events into one big group of photos so I can see them all? Instead a bunch of events.

I want to link my other email accounts to my imail so I can see them all at once. When I enter their account information, imail says I'm using the wrong passwords but I know they are correct. What now?
This was EXACTLY what I needed about the purchases I made from my device. However, is there a way to re-download other ones you've made from a computer? Because I realized some of them were not just purchased from my device.

As you can see, the stuff circled in red doesn't give me an option to download from Cloud Beta because it already says "downloaded".

i have purchased 100 songs in last 2 years on itunes now i am able to find the first 50 songs, i am using the origial id in all my devices.i even got the invoice of my purshace where can find them all?
ITS NOT EVEN SHOWING UP IN PURCHASED SECTION1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.

How do I merge all clips in EVENTS into one long clip so it works with IDVD
When you import a EVENT in IDVD it splits them up into the clips so you cant add more than 1 Event . I
Without importing into projects and then exporting to idvd is there a simple way to do this?wot?
the iLife intended workflow is..:
you can not share/import/.. Events..
Events are just for storage and usage in Projects.
• you have to create a Project out of clips from your Events
• then, share to Mediabrowser..
• do as many Projects as you like..
• then, launch iDVD
• look under Media/Movies.. you see a list of your Projects..
• you can add as many Projects to a DVD as you like - as long as you stay under 120min..

Help!! iphoto consolidated all of my events into one event!
15 years of organization all ruined!! What can I do? Is there a "go back" or history fix for this?
I have not down a recent time machine back up. Am I screwed? If I auto-split the events, that might be just as bad. I have organized all of these photos by hand over the years.1 - iPhoto does not change organization - users do - you may have done something inadvertenly
2 - with no backup you have no backjup - the reason you must always have a backup is to "go Back" after an error - be it user, software or hardwary - no matter the reason with no backup you have no backup and no way to go back
3 - since you have made the choice not to have a current backup your choices now are to autosplit or do it manually again
4 - I strongly suggest that you start having Time Machine running all the time so you have an hourly backup available for the future - bad things will happen again sooner or later - and next time it may be total loss of everythign - not just of yoru organization

ICal consolidated all of my calendars into one! No undo option!
I have four calendars in my iCal, I did this so I could publish just one of these to my .Mac account. Things seemed to be going okay, I had three calendars turned-off from view by unchecking them, as I started to look at the calendar I got the spinning rainbow beachball of death and tried clicking on the iCal window, nothing, so I double-clicked, still nothing (iCal is still open with events from the checkmarked calendar showing, beachball still spinning).
Beachball stops spinning and now every single one of my events have been placed into the calendar I was viewing! The other calendars are empty, it consolidated all of the events into one calendar. There is no undo option. I didn't even know iCal could move events from one calendar to another enmass like that. So now I'm stuck, my last iCal backup was a week ago and many events have changed, I sync with both my Palm Treo and .Mac so I don't want to mess those calendars up. And even if I owned an iPhone this would be a major problem.
At the very least, is there a way I can change all iCal events en-mass again to a specific calendar? Then at least I can move single events to the proper places to recover from this mess. Why doesn't Apple provide an option in iSync to completely overwrite my desktop with handheld data? You can overwrite the handheld with the desktop data but not the other way around. I have my handheld PDA available much more often than my desktop so that calendar and Address book is much more up to date all the time. I hate iCal it's one of Apple's most inelegant apps with the poorest user interface.
Message was edited by: Baron SekiyaOkay, I believe I figured-out how to change events to different calendars en masse. But iCal seems to be choking on the changes.
1. Click on Results List button on the bottom (third from the right).
2. Select events to change (there is no Select All option in Edit, though you can click on the 1st event, then SHIFT-click on the last event if you want to select a block, or COMMAND-click to add/remove individual events from the selection)
3. Right-click (or Control-click) on the selected events to bring-up the contextual menu.
4. Go to calendars and select the calendar to attach the events to.
Now this should work, but iCal completely chokes on doing a large group of events. Small bunches do work but iCal is so inefficient it can't make the changes I need.
Anyone else got a good solution? Other than: Buy a MacBook Pro?
For the time being I'm switching back to Now Up To Date, the best calendar for the Mac. I gave iCal a shot but NUTD is vastly superior. Maybe when Mac OS 10.5 and Time Machine comes out I'll give iCal another try. -
I accidentally moved all my iPhoto events onto one. I have a recent backup. How do I go about recovering my events?
You could try Events -> Autosplit Selected Event
And you always need a back up. Always. -
How do I put all my live feeds into one channel? I don't want to have to click on each feed source separately. Instead of one feed per website I want just ONE feed for all my sources together.

Locate your iTunes files
Do either of the following:
Find out where a file is stored: Select the item in iTunes, and choose File > Get Info. The path to the file is shown at the bottom of the Summary pane (next to Where).
Show the file in Windows Explorer: Select the song, and choose File > Show in Explorer.

Accidently Moved all my events into one event
My Mac was running slow so accidently dropped all my events into one.
I then closed and reopened Iphoto hoping the changes wouldnt take effect.
Urgently need to undo the action. The UNDO button is greyed out.
I clicked on Autosplit events, but how can i get my last copy of the library back and reload? Where is it saved?
Please helpNo, it doesn't. You must be proactive in setting up a backup strategy like using Time Machine with an external HD. If you haven't setup a backup plan then you have no backup of the library to fall back on.
So you're only course of action is to split (auto or manually) the one large event into events based on your criteria, i.e. by date, by photo opportunity, etc. It could take a while. One way to do it by date, i.e. by month is to use the Search function at the bottom of the window and do a search by each month of the year, When you get the results for the first month, select them all and use the Events ➙ Create Event menu option. This way you can create an event for each month of each year. -
I back up my iphone's icalendar to my MacBook. Why have some previous events disappeared in the phone but I can see them on the backup? How do I retrieve?

Hello, does anyone have any advice on how to sort photos in an albumn on an Iphone by date of photo? I've ordered them all in my Pictures but then when I sync them across through Itunes, they all end up in a jumble on my phone. Thanks!
When viewing an album on the iPhone you can tap "Photos" at the bottom and that will show all photos by date. Unfortunately though it is all photos, not just the album you are currently viewing.
What I have done is the following. On the computer I have a main folder (e.g. iPhone photos) and then make sub-folders within that. Placing photos that will be synched to the iPhone into various subfolders gives quite a bit of organizational capablility. In iTunes when you select the main folder to sync, the sub-folders will show on the iPhone as separate albums. Beyond that, in one case where I really wanted a specific sort within an album I renamed the photos on the computer (something like A-picxxx, B-picxxx) so they sorted on the computer alphabetically in the order I want on the phone. That sort order was maintained after the sync.
Note that each time you sync using iTunes, the non-Camera Roll pictures on the phone will be set to match the current iTunes settings/photos -- so you can experiment. -
When I run the cursor over a template it shows several pages but when i select the document it only brings up the first two pages to edit. How do I see them all?
Skimming the templates in the Template Chooser shows you all of the pages available in the template once you open it. You can insert the one(s) you want, even more than one of any of them. Most users don't want or need all of the different pages, especially when they start the document.

On IDVD, I have 3 consecutive movie clips that I am trying to drop into the drop zone to create a DVD but it only recognizes the first one I dropped and only produced the first one in a DVD. How can I drop all three movie clips into one drop zone.
I have had some luck doing the following: Export each clip from imovie as a quicktime clip. Open iDVD and create a new project. Import a few stills into iDVD and then click on the button that gets created to get into the screen where the individual slides appear. Drag each quicktime into that screen and arrange in the order you want. You can then delete the stills. The button that appeared when you dropped in the stills will launch a complete show.
