Hello there!
Here is one way to create a duplicate image and colorize it. As you can see below, I have one image right now, that I want to duplicate.
My layers panel looks like below.
To duplicate your image, click the downward arrow on the right side of your Layer Panel.
Select Duplicate Layer. This will duplicate the layer that the image is on.
Select "OK" to approve the duplication.
As you can now see in the Layers panel, the image is duplicated. The new layer is now at the top of the Layer panel.
Now to colorize your image, go to Window > Adjustments.
The Adjustments panel will now be opened. Select the Hue and Saturation icon as seen circled in red.
The Hue and Saturation propertied panel will be opened. I selected "Colorize", and adjusted the hue and saturation bar to achieve the level red in my photo.
As you can see below, the image is now red.
Now i want to make sure only ONE of my image layers is red. I moved the Hue and Saturation layer to only be on top of the bottom layer. The image on the top layer now will not be affected by the red.
Select the move tool, so I can now move the image layers so we can see both of them.
With each image layer selected, you can take the move tool and move the images. I moved mine on top of eachother and you can see my red layer (bottom) and the non red layer (top).

It's a Finder feature, related to Quick Look. You can hit the space bar in the file list to get a preview.
If that doesn't work, you may have an issue witha preference file or similar. I find rebuilding the launch databse works quite well resilving tis kind of thing, as does trashing Finder preferences

Since the update *every* website displays with the fonts too big or too small. On many websites, some of the fonts are too big and some are too small *on the same page*
This makes for a horrible browsing experience.
I've tried setting the layout.css.PixelsPerPx to a value of 1, but all it does is make most websites fonts too small, while leaving some websites fonts too large, with many web pages having fonts simultaneously too large and too small.
The old behavior was quite acceptable and I'd really like to restore the behavior to what it was. How can I do that? Or do i just switch to Chrome and be done with it?

This "fix" doesn't work. Hundreds of people are complaining about how their browser was broken by this "improvement". Why not address the real problem instead of telling users to apply a useless hack to fix a programming error?

How can I create a two columns zone in a Pages document without making all of the document two columns?

I have a Pages document with 4 paragraphs. I want the first one to be separated in two columns, but just this one.

Click in the text where you want this:
Menu > Insert > Layout Break twice.
Between those breaks:

I installed a new printer driver that was missing and now I can't get to my desktop. I can log in but it stays on the same page. How do I boot from disc?

I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard and was missing the drivers for my HP 5000 printer. I got the drivers from HP and downloaded them. When I unzipped the file, my computer went to the login page. I logged in but it stays on that page. Can't get to desktop or do anything. Can anyone help with this?

It never used to happen it just randomly started, if i hover over a link and press the button between Alt Gr and Ctrl then it will come up with options without going to the link itself

How to remove links pointing to the same page?

I have PDF documents with Links which point to sections referenced (e.g. link of text "Section 2.2" points to the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), but as the links are created from cross-references during rendition from Word to PDF, there are cases that the destination page number and source page number of the links are the same (e.g. links of text "Section 2.2" on page 9 are created with the destination of page 9 which is the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), I want to remove all these links, but I don't know how to get the destination page, I check the API reference and find that "PDLinkAnnotGetAction" may work , but I don't know how to use it, could you check me codes below and advise ? Your help is really appreciated!

How did you obtain these apps? All apps are DRM protected & tied forever to the account used to originally obtain them. They cannot be transferred to another Apple ID(account), nor can they be updated using any Apple ID other than the one that was used to originally obtain them.

page.Can anyone post example code for this?that's not how it works. when you press submit, the form data is submitted to the server. you can then forward the user to a page with another form, but what you're talking about doesn't make sense

Create A Link to More Text on the Same Page?

I want to know how to make a link that says "MORE" that will reveal additional text on the same page.
I am NOT referring to a link that will scroll the user to a different part of a page.
I am talking about a page with a lenghty amount of text that is kept hidden, until the user clicks on the word "MORE" to expand it. (Or, I usppose, "LESS" to make it disappear again.)

Or you can hold down the Option key while you click on the image and drag to create a copy. Then Select All and repeat. Repeat again, each time doubling your image count. You may, at an early stage, want to align your photos so that they will be in position when you Option-Drag the next set.

I think you are talking about grouping objects.
1. They must all be floating objects
2. Command click on each in turn
