How do I create drop downs?

In Excel it was (I think) under 'validation', where I could determine a list of values. When I clicked in a cell that was validated I could choose from a drop down list.
How do i do that in Numbers?
Also, where are the advanced tutorials for iWork?

There is not exacty this feature but the popMenu may replace it.
Also, where are the advanced tutorials for iWork?
It's so simple to use that there is no need for such tool, the PDF User's Guide is sufficient

As was already referenced, you could use a Simple List for the prompt, however if you are referring to the default General Incident that is available out-of-the-box, you might be limited in what you can modify.
I did some work for a client, that wanted to have a list and other options for the General Incident through the Portal. So, I ended up having to create a custom General Incident instead of using the default one, which will then allow you to add any type
of prompts, and configure them as you want (i.e. with a simple list).

How to create drop down menus

I want to know how to make the drop down menus for my
navigation bar. I really want the menus to pop out to the right. Do
I have to buy a java script to do this. I am a relativly new
developer. I know some HTML and am just learning CSS. I am using
Dreamweaver to construct my pages. I dont know java scripting and
dont know how hard it is to do so don't know if this is something I
can make on my own or if I can copy one from a free source or buy

Can we create drop down menus in HTML DB as we do in

In HTML DB v2.0 you can create drop down menus. I cannot say if they are the same as Visual Basic because I am not familiar with VB..
Here is an example pull-down menu:
     A   B   C                <--- Top level
     A1 B1                   <--- Second level
     A2                       <--- Third levelInitially the user sees a horizontal menu with "A", "B', and "C". When the user clicks on "A" a menu containing "A1" and "A2" is displayed under "A".
Here is what you do to create this:
1.) Edit a page.
2.) Click the "Create" (plus sign) button in the "Lists" region under "Shared Components".
3.) Enter a List name.
4.) Make the "List Template" be "DHTML Menu with Sublist".
5.) Click the "Create List Entry >" button on the right. You are now creating your Top Level menu.
6.) Enter "A" into the "List Entry Label".
7.) Set "Target Type" to "- No Target -". This could be an URL or another page in the application.
8.) Click the "Create and Create Another" button. You are now create the lower level menus.
9.) Select "A" for the "Parent List Entry".
10.) Enter "A1" into the "List Entry Label".
11.) Set "Target Type" to "- No Target -".
12.) Repeat steps 8, through 11 for "A2".
13.) Click the "Create and Create Another" button.
14.) Repeat steps 6 through 12 for "B" and "B1".
15.) Click the "Create and Create Another" button.
16.) Repeat steps 6 and 7 for "C".
17.) Click the "Create" button.
18.) Click the "Add this list to the current page" link.
19.) Specify the region information for the menu and click "Next" button.
20.) Click the "Create List Region" button.

Layer styles let you quickly apply effects to an entire layer. In the Effects panel, you can view a variety of predefined layer styles and apply a style with just a click of the mouse.
Three different layer styles applied to text
The boundaries of the effect are automatically updated when you edit that layer. For example, if you apply a drop shadow style to a text layer, the shadow changes automatically when you edit the text.
Layer styles are cumulative, which means that you can create a complex effect by applying multiple styles to a layer. You can apply one style from each style library per layer. You can also change a layer’s style settings to adjust the final result.
When you apply a style to a layer, a style icon appears to the right of the layer’s name in the Layers panel. Layer styles are linked to the layer contents. When you move or edit the contents of the layer, the effects are modified correspondingly.
Once you choose Layer > Layer Style > Style Settings, you can edit the settings of a layer’s style or apply other style settings or attributes available in the dialog box.
Lighting Angle Specifies the lighting angle at which the effect is applied to the layer.
Drop Shadow
Specifies the distance of a drop shadow from the layer’s content. You can also set the size and opacity with the sliders.
Outer Glow Size Specifies the size of a glow that emanates from the outside edges of the layer’s content. You can also set the opacity with the slider.
Inner Glow Size Specifies the size of a glow that emanates from the inside edges of the layer’s content. You can also set the opacity with the slider.
Bevel Size Specifies the size of beveling along the inside edges of the layer’s content.
Bevel Direction Specifies the direction of the bevel, either up or down.
Stroke Size Specifies the size of the stroke.
Stroke Opacity Specifies the opacity of the stroke.

Creating Drop Down Lists in J2ME

Hello all,
I'm not an experienced programmer, and I fear that the rumours of posting a crie for help only to be set upon by hundreds of blood thirsty 'newbe' hunters may be true, but here goes none the less.
Would love to know if any kind soul has hints on how to create drop down lists in J2ME, for selecting a option which would be able to relate to a database (Table).
At the moment I'm using straight forward TextField entries, which is hardly convenient! :)
Any help/comments/sweets appreciated!

Only MIDP 2.0 support drop down list. So if you currently coding in the MIDP 2.0 environment, here are the codings.

Hi Robert,
You actually cannot edit the current template.
The process is as follow:
create a brand new project site from the existing template,
edit the site configuration (list, column, webparts, image, logo, theme...),
save it as a template,
associate it to an EPT.

Frankly, ANY link can offer a drop down.
Take a look at this turorial.
That will get you your dropdown menu. So you have that.
Now, on your top menu (or any level where you want to have an image instead of text do this:
(I am copying the HTML structure in the tutorial here):

Elements 12 editor 'create drop down menu

In my 'create' drop down menu in the editor a very long blank drop down menu appears, is this normal and if not is there a quick fix... and if this involves re-install can that be done without re-doing all my plugins.
