How do I deactivate my acrobat pro X?

I want to deactivate my acrobat pro X so I can use it on another computer. I am looking for help-deactivate, but this does not show up? Is it because I did not register the product.  I bought it on Feb 4, 2011 and have the oder number.

Hi David Roemer,
It may be because Acrobat X has not activated properly which is why you are not getting 'Deactivate' option under Help menu.
Please go to Control Panel (System Preferences for MAC) and uninstall Acrobat.
Now, install again to activate the software. Open a PDF and check if 'Deactivate' option is visible under the Help menu.
Let me know.

Anubha

  • How to deactivate adobe acrobat Pro version 10?

I need to reformat my hard drive and I need to deactivate Adobe Acrobat Pro version 10.  I go to the help options and "Deactivation" is not even an option.
Any idea of how to deactivate the software if there isn't even an option?
    Thanks for your help
    Dave

    Hi Dave,
You are not getting the deactivate option as it might be possible that Acrobat was installed with volume license serial key.
If the deactivate option is not available then please go ahead and uninstall the program.
After reformatting the drive, re install the software.
    Regards,

  • How do i transfer my Acrobat Pro 10 from computer which dies to new unit?

How do I transfer my Acrobat Pro 10 from one computer which dies to my new one.  I have serial number and am original buyer. Thx Jim

if you need to reset your activation count, contact adobe support: http://www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html
if you need the installation program and if you follow all 7 steps you can dl a trial here:  http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html
    and activate with your serial.
if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps.  the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

  • How to export images in Acrobat Pro X v10.x for Mac?

How to export images using Acrobat Pro X v10.1.1?
This is a positive criticism: it was easy with Acrobat Pro X v.9.x. The new Acrobat interface without menus and submenus is awkward and utterly anti-intuitive. If it ain't broke don't fix it!!! Thanks.

  • Adobe CS3 Suite -- How to Get InDesign and Acrobat Pro to Install?

I uninstalled and deactivated my Adobe CS3 Design Premium from my 1st gen Macbook (2006) and installed it on my 3rd gen Macbook Air (2011). When I installed CS3 using the original discs, InDesign and Acrobat did not install properly. How to fix?
    My questions:
    1. Got any ideas how to install InDesign and Acrobat Pro without uninstalling the whole CS3, running the cleaner tool, and reinstalling everything again? I tried to rerun the installer just for InDesign and Acrobat Pro but I got the same result -- no install.
    2. Installing CS3 takes forever -- at least several hours. Is it because I'm sending it over my wireless network? (I'm "sharing" the DVD drive on my other Macbook because my Air doesn't have one.)
    Thanks so much!!
(More background, in case it's useful -- before installing CS3, I had run the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool to clean up the mess I made when I tried to migrate CS3 using Mac's migration assistant. I learned, thanks to this forum, that I couldn't use the Migration Assistant tomove CS3. I also found that the unistaller didn't transfer, so I manually deleted folders and then used the cleaner. It worked wel enough to allow me to install everything but InDesign and Acrobat Pro.)

Thanks Jeff (and Manish). I'm all for better reliability and a quicker installation.
This may seem like a dumb question, but how do I properly copy the CS3 install files onto a USB? Drag and drop everythng from the CD? Can I not just copy the files onto my desktop and install from there? That is what I thought Manish suggested, to install from the desktop.
I had tried this method. After copying the install files to the desktop, here's what happened: I clicked the setup application and it opened, but it immediately detected that I had CS3 installed and wouldn't let me go any further. Perhaps that was due to other problems resulting from use of the Migration Assistant.
Previously, when I used the install disk on the shared drive, I was able to open the setup and install the couple of CS3 programs that weren't installed the first time around. That installation attempt failed and led me here to my original post.
    Many thanks!

  • How can I move Adobe Acrobat Pro from my old laptop to my new one?

A few years ago I purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro. I recently purchased a new laptop. As such, I'd like to install Adobe Acrobat Pro on the new machine, however; I don't want to have to purchase it again. Does anyone know how I can move it from my old laptop to my new one?

I feel I've explained plenty what you must do but you aren't getting it.
All music on your old iPhone should be in your iTunes library on your computer. Transfer the music from your iTunes library on your computer to your new iPhone in the same way it was transferred from your iTunes library to your old iPhone - via the iTunes sync/transfer process.
Since you prefer the manual way, you must manually drag and drop the same 377 songs from your iTunes library to your new iPhone - in the same way the 377 songs were manually transferred from your iTunes library to your old iPhone.
Or you can sync which provides more options overall. Create an iTunes playlist for the 377 songs. Select Sync Music under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes and choose selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres. Select the iTunes playlist below that includes the 377 songs followed by a sync.

  • How to set up Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.5 as printer in Mountain Lion

How do I set up Adobe Acrobat 9 as printer in Mountain Lion as I would with Windows?

Changes in OS X made it impossible for Acrobat Pro to install a "printer" for itself as it did before Snow Leopard. The PPD for Acrobat was always very buggy anyway, so no one really misses that part of it.
For any Adobe app (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), you instead go to the File menu and choose the PDF flyout, as show here:
For other apps, you hit Command+P as always and open the Adobe PDF options at the lower left of the print dialogue box:
Choose "Save as Adobe PDF" and continue on from there to choose your PDF settings.
Quark XPress has all of the pro PDF options built in to its output. You don't use access Acrobat Pro at all in the menus or standard print dialogue.

If uninstalling Acrobat normally does not resolve the issue, you better ask in the appropriate Acrobat forum.  Don't forget to mention your OS and any relevant details.
You can continue this topic regarding your problem with Flash Player, but we also need to know your OS, browser, and the exact details of your problem.

    Hi ruthgenie,
I see that you purchased Acrobat Pro back in January 2013 (order number C0122903414). If you log on to www.adobe.com with your Adobe ID and password, you should be able to download Acrobat from your account. Click My Plans & Products, and you should see Acrobat listed there.
Please let us know how it goes.

  • How can I get Adobe Acrobat Pro 11 to install?

I have a system with my Documents folder as a shared drive on a server.  When I try to install Adobe Acrobat Pro 11, it complains "The path My Pictures or the volume is invalid"  This error prevents the installation of Adobe Acrobat Pro.  How can I resolve this?

    Hi,
You cannot install the Software on Shared Drive. When you start the Installation please change the Installation folder to C: instead of your Shared Drive.

  • Command line to Deactivate Adobe Acrobat Pro XI

We're just getting into software distribution remotely using "batch" like files.  Is there a command line to deactivate a license for Adobe Acrobat Pro XI?
We've had a couple people leave and usually we reapply an image and reuse the workstation.  The people that have Adobe Pro...I try to get to their machine to Deactivate the license...I want to make this part of my process when people leave one job for another....so need a command line to do it.  Unless you have another solution for me.  Thanks in advance.

    @Test-Screen-Name
On the original disk I fine the "install.app" version 6.0.335.0
There is no seperat CS6 install app.
In the map "Payloads" I find
    AcrobatProfessional10.0-EFG etc
    AcrobatXProfessional10.0-mul
    and many other files including
    AdobeDesignWebPremium6-mul
    AdobeDreamweaver files etcetera
So I can't find a separate "CS installer"
    @Rave:
I install stand alone on my MacBook Air. Since this MBA has no disc drive I use the disc drive of my iMac. I copied the installation disk to my iMac and then with "sharing" from my iMac to MBA.
