How can I delee pictures from the Photo Library on my IPod Touch?. I use Firefox as my browser. I want to take them from the IPod to my Pc. I need to free up space.

You can turn off photo stream on the iPad via Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream . Individual photos can't be deleted according to http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486 :
Individual photos cannot be deleted from your Photo Stream. You can, however, delete all the photos in your Photo Stream by clicking the Reset Photo Stream button in your account at icloud.com. The Reset Photo Stream button will instantly delete all Photo Stream photos stored in iCloud, but it will not remove any Photo Stream photos that have already been pushed to your devices.

I plugged my iphone 5 into my iMac to sync. I ended up with Camera Roll, Photo Library, Instagram and Pictures. The Photo Library and Pictures have exactly the same photos in and I don't/didn't want any of them? How can I delete?

I tried that to be honest. The best thing is, the albums I want to delete aren't even on my iMac!!!!! So not even there to deselect?? Not a clue?

How do I remove pictures in the photo library on my iphone 5?  I need the space to download iOS 7.0.2. I have a MacBook Air and have transferred  pictures from my iphone to iphoto.

Photos in the ?Camera Roll can be deleted by tapping on Select, then selecting the photos to be deleted and finally tapping on Trash.
Photos in albums that were copied to the device by syncing with your computer running iTunes are deleted by syncing again. But before clicking on Apply or Sync deselect the no long wanted albums in iTunes. Finally click on Apply.

How do I delete videos from my photo library on my Iphone 4s?

If so, to remove the videos from the iPhone, I would set up sync to only sync pictures and videos checked.  At that point, the iPhone would no longer have the videos on the new sync, but the iMac would still retain the videos.  Sound close?
If it turns out that the movies are syncing from your iMac to your iPhone through iTunes, then I would think it is just a matter of changing your sync selection to remove the video(s) from your iPhone.
However, you may find that you may need to change your sync settings to not sync any photo/video content, perform a sync, then select a different source of photos to sync (optionally of course).
I'm new to Mac so I can't say for sure if it is what I'm used to, but on my PC if I wanted to remove photos or videos that I had synced to my iPhone through iTunes I had to first sync no photo/video to remove them, then either sync to a different folder or move the undesired items out of the folder I was syncing to.
But I no longer sync photo/video through iTunes, and have changed to a Mac Air so things may be different.  But the key is whether or not these undesired movies are actually synced to your iPhone through iTunes (sounds like they are).

  • How do you take a picture from the photo library and put it on your desktop?

I want to be able to take a picture from my photo libray, and drop it on my desktop to be able to access it immediately. Is this possible?

There are lots of ways of moving files.
A simple and popular way to copy files.
    http://wiki.dropbox.com
    Using iTures to transfer files:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4094?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
Files Connect -- The swiss army knife of remote file connect
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/files-connect/id404324302?mt=8
For syncing pc or mac folders to iPad applications.
"Using SugarSync, you simply designate folders that you want to “sync” to the cloud and it keeps everything in sync anytime you make changes.  This is the way cloud storage should be done and especially if you are using your iPad for buisness or for school."
The only potential downside is that so many apps for the iPhone/iPad come with Dropbox sync built in which makes it extremely convenient.

  • How do i delete pictures rom my photo alum

    i cant delete photos

To remove photo library photos, connect your phone to your computer, open iTunes, go to the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings, uncheck the folder that contains the photos you want to remove (or to remove them all, uncheck Sync Photos), click Apply at the bottom to sync your phone.  (To remove individual photos, remove them from the folder you synced to your phone and resync.)

  • How do I delete a corrupted iPhoto 6 library and start again from zero?

I have tried for days now to rebuild my iPhoto library to no avail and now I want to wipe the slate clean and build my library again from zero. I have back-ups and original memory cards to do this as well as the iLife6 install disc. How do I do this? What must I trash (and /or not trash)? Also I keep getting "star-up disc almost full messages" and would like to know (precisely) how to create more space on it. I should also mention that I am severely challenged when it comes to computer technology but would deeply appreciate any help some generous soul would give me. I'm desperate since I would like to make some iPhoto books for Xmas and at present am unable to do so.
    Sincere Thanks

To create and populate a new library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Rolls and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Roll Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

  • Photo Albums?   I have Camera Roll, Photo Library, and Picture.... why?

I have 3 categories under my Photo albums on my iphone. Camera Roll, Photo Library, and Picture. Now looking at these three options shows 125 pictures in the Camera roll, 84 Pictures in the Photo Library, and 81 Pictures in the Picture option.... Now the problem I have is they are all the same pictures, just seems they are all in the Roll and some in the others. What I need to know is why? why purpose does this have, and how do I delete them from one, or will it delete them from all? would hate to have to think I have to delete them each 3 times... Not sure why it is like this but hoping the reason is simple and understandable. do different applications use pics from different categories? I am confused.

You certainly CAN create as many albums as you want. You do this by first creating the albums on your desktop, then syncing those albums to the iPhone. You can use Adobe Albums, but you don't need it.
If not you can actually use the My Pictures folder, but I don't recommend that. Instead, create a new folder in My Documents. I call mine "iPod Pictures" (because I sync them to my iPod also). In "iPod Pictures" create sub-folders; name each one with the name of an album. Now copy the pictures you want on the iPhone into the appropriate "album" sub-folder. I shrink them to 640x480 in the process to save memory on the iPhone, but this is optional. It's easiest to do this with a photo editor like Microsoft Photo or the one I prefer, Google Picasa. It is free at picasa.google.com.
Finally, put the iPhone in the dock and wait for it to appear in iTunes. Click on the iPhone in the left panel, then on the Photos tab. At the top there is a box labeled "Sync Photos From:" Click on the box and select the "iPod Pictures" folder. Then choose "All Photos" or "Selected Folders" as you prefer and sync. Each sub-folder will become an album on the iPhone.
Any time you add or remove a folder or a photo in a folder the next time you sync the iPhone will be updated with the change.
