How do I eliminate the "Converter" page?

Whenever I open up monthly financial statements from my companies, the "Converter"page is setting along side, (To the right) of the statement, taking up half of the screen. I had previously been told to sign in and remove it. When I signed in yesterday, there was no place to click to remove it. If I can remove it, would it be a temporary removal? Thanks for responding. The area around the photo will be the background color selected for the page. The only option is to change the background color of the page to one that would be acceptable (if its a full page layout).
Another option is to crop the photo to the same size ratio as the frame and not use the fit photo to frame feature. That's 4:3 for most frames and 1:1.29 for full page 8.5 x 11 book pages.

Are you shooting raw? With what camera? And what version of Photoshop are you using to convert your images?
Seems to me Camera Raw got a LOT better about developing images without that unnatural "aura" around the time they embraced a full floating point internal workflow... As I recall that was Camera Raw version 7 (with Photoshop CS6).
Assuming you're shooting raw and not using Camera Raw version 7 or newer, do you have a raw file you can put online somewhere? I'll be happy to run it through the mill...

If you are asking about the recent searches in the Safari browser, you can't delete them. If you try to use the standard "swipe to delete" or "tap and hold down" methods, you just end up opening that page again. You can't delete the items in the search from the open browser. If you delete the cookies and cache in the settings, they will go away.

The easiest way to fix the hosts file is to restore it from a backup that predates the modification, or to copy the unmodified file from another Mac. If you can't do that, then do as below.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
open -e /etc/hosts
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Paste into a Terminal window by pressing command-V. A TextEdit window should open. At the top of the window, you should see this:

If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator. Log in as one and start over.
That will fix the hosts file. There is now a copy of the old hosts file with the name "hosts~" in the same folder as "hosts". You can delete the copy if you wish. Don't delete the file named "hosts".

I have updated to the latest form of Mozilla Firefox, and the top of the screen is altered so that it occupies far more space than it used to do, leaving far less space for what I want to look at. Is there any way of simply restoring the previous arrangement?

Okay, I accept that this is just how it is, and there is nothing to be done about it, because no-one except me thinks that the icons and toolbars should be organised to take up minimum space in order to allocate maximum space to the page.
The crowning irony of all this is that, having updated to the latest Mozilla Firefox and consequently having this arrangement at the top of the page which I don't like, the middle of the page now comes up with its old message, 'You are not on the latest version of Firefox. Upgrade now.'

i know there is a classic theme addon for windows but i need a fix for osx...its very frustrating when you update and things like this change and cant be customized back to the way we are used to using the browser. its counter intuitive to have the refresh page button so far away from the back and home buttons.

Watch out with Excel. As you use the High Speed Recorder to create the
original file you will most probably create quite large files quite
fast. Translating that into an ASCII spreadsheet would work fine in
LabVIEW but Excel has a limitation that it can't open spreadsheet files
above a certain number of rows. I do believe this is around 64k rows but
it does a little vary depending on the number of columns you have.

You cannot remove the Dock. You can move the app icons off the dock, move others onto the dock and keep the dock empty but you cannot remove the dock.
