CS3 - How can I preserve Links and Hyperlinks in my INDB?

I am still pretty new to ID, so please speak slowly :)
My problem - I create an INDB that consists of several indd chapters. The chapters include numerous Links (to PNG & PSD images) and Hyperlinks both to Text anchors to other chapters within the INDB, as well as to URLs. I have all items saved on my local HD. Once complete, I do "Package for Print", check the Preflight report to make sure all is OK (it is) and then save the new INDB folder in a new location on my local HD. This all seems to work just fine, BUT if I move this packaged INDB folder (such as to a backup drive, or give to another worker that copies it to their HD), upon opening the INDB file, some links and Hyperlinks are broken.
It seems that these broken Links and Hyperlinks are still pointing to the original locations on my HD. But obviously not all are, since most links/hyperlinks DO work fine. The Hyperlinks to Text anchors within other indd chapters seem to typically break. Is there a way to force these to reference the packaged assets within the INDB folder? Seems ID would be smart enough to look there itself!
Also, I was creating some Hyperlinks as "cross referenced" - that is, I created a URL Hyperlink Destination in Chapter 1 indd and then created Hyperlinks pointing to it from other chapter indd in the book. I have learned that these ALWAYS break in the above scenario, so I started creating the URL destination within the same chapter indd and pointing to it there rather than across chapters. But this is just more work to keep re-creating the same URL destination in every indd!
I'll keep running into these problems since I need to share my finished INDB with other CS3 users. I also would like to be able to do a Save As of the INDB when creating a revised, newer version, but I see this also results in the new INDB links/hyperlinks still pointing to the original INDB's assets! Any way to make the Save As update the Links/Hyperlinks in the new INDB?

That is a given.
Step back a second... It is like selecting multiple cells and setting the text color of the currently selected cells to red. This can be done. More than one cell at a time modified because they are currently selected.
Whats is being asked is: if more than one cell is selected at the same time can the settings "Preserve Row" an / or "Preserve Column" be applied. No table I put up will help with that question.

This is an quite easy task using the Vision Development Module.
There you can acquire images from cameras or read them form the harddrive, then differntiate them or since VDM 2010 calculate the optical flow between consecutive images.

I need to store centrally photo images and thumb impressions and use it in our application without any overhead on retrieval and performance of web application. what will be optimized method of storage of photo and thumb impressions. Here's the solution I used to solve the same problem. If you're not comfortable editing the source files, this might be more than you want to take on--but I've done it to several files with no ill effects. A warning about editing the Master pages--it only edits them in that book--it doesn't update the theme. So if you go to create another book with those same layouts, you'll have to duplicate the book and replace all the images. An alternative would be to create a "clean" book with no photos in it and then just use that as a starting point each time.

iPhoto->:File->Export…. BTW, iPhoto and OS version would help; whereas, iOS version doesn't.

1- put your images in a directory under the web app directory. Example: app/images/
2- in your jsp, use: String file = application.getRealPath("/images/"); to get the images directory. See http://java.sun.com/j2ee/sdk_1.3/techdocs/api/javax/servlet/ServletContext.html#getRealPath(java.lang.String)

How do i blend image and video on premier?

Hello Everyone
I'm trying to add a video onto an image on Premier. I want the image to be still and the video to play in the background. How do I make an image and video blend together in Premier?
Any tips/effects to make this look more interesting? for my project I'm trying to add a disturbing footage from the news onto a landscape photograph.

How do I save image and text as a single image in InDesign CS5.0?

How do I save an image and text as one image in InDesign CS5.0? NOT 5.5.
I need to save the image as a 72-dpi, jpg file for ePub purposes. I designed a book and am handing it off to someone for ePub.
This is what I've tried:
1) Copied from InDesign, pasted into a PhotoShop doc as a Smart Object. Saved it as 72 dpi jpg, then imported back into ID.
2) Took a screenshot of ID page, placed it in PS, saved as 72 dpi, imported into ID
3) Saved page as a PDF from InDesign, then saved PDF as 72 dpi jpg, then imported into ID.
4) Save page as a PDF from InDesign, placed into Photoshop and saved
as 72 dpi, then imported into ID.
5) Saved as an EPS from InDesign, placed in PS, then imported back to ID.
In all cases, the type looks terrible. It doesn't seem to matter whether I copy or place into Photoshop, though placing is slightly better.

Naturally what you did will result in rasterized text. Did you preview with high quality settings?
Are you sure the people who will handle that downstream need pixel images and do you have the exact pixel dimensions needed?
Why did you place the image back in Indesign, by the way?

In JBuilder, create a new file called Frame1 then copy this code into it. It should give you a frame which will have a different icon in the frame title and an image in its pane.
Change the name of the icon it uses to any gif file that you have on your pc.
