How do i enter in album name in the new version of itunes?

I have the latest version of iTunes and I can't figure out how to type in album name to a song. I fiddled around with it and I can't figure it out. Hope someone can help me out! Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Select the track, or multiple tracks (by holding down the Shift key), and select Get Info from the File menu. You can enter in the album name, etc. on the Info tab.

umm my music is synced depending on how i want it.. so right now I have it set up by artist, and alphabetically.
sort your library the way you want it, then sync.

Yes this might be the stupidest question ever, but leave it to Apple to make the simplest thing hard.
In EVERY version of Itunes, up until 11, you used to be able to type an artists name, song name, or album into the search field and it would narrow it down so that you can see what you are looking for (in the list below). Now, Itunes tells you that you have music by said artist, yet doesn't list them whatsoever. Furthermore, when you click on the results it doesn't list them for you either.
I'm sure it is some weird setting, but cannot for the life of me find. I cannot name one application that doesn't show a list when you type in the search field. Augh!

Never heard of that being caused by installing iTunes. Try asking on a Windows forum. This isn't a problem with iTunes or any other Apple product. If you believe it is, uninstall iTunes. If the problem persists, you'll have to seek advice on a Windows forum or contact Microsoft for support.

Presuming they're on your computer, right click on them and then follow the prompts to locate hte file on your computer.

How can I identify and delete duplicates on the lastest version of iTunes?

The show duplicates/show exact duplicates features have been left out of iTunes 11. Rumor suggests they will be restored in the next build. In the meantime I have written two Windows scripts to make playlists of Duplicates and Exact Duplicates, either from a selection of tracks or the entire library. Note that, as with the iTunes feature, this list makes no distinction between "originals" and "dupes", you have to decide which is which.
There is also my DeDuper script for automatically removing duplicate copies but keeping one remaining copy of each set. This can preserve ratings, play counts, playlist membership, etc. which are lost in a manual clean up. Please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping. See this thread for background on deduping and the script.
If you want to manually remove duplicate tracks use shift-delete to remove selected tracks from the library as well as the playlist. Keep one of each repeated group of files and don't send the others to the recycle bin unless you are sure that there are multiple files on the disc as opposed to multiple entries to the same file. Same advice to backup applies.
