How do I find iclouds music on my macbook pro?

I just put 23,000 + songs in icloud from my PC, now I want to get them from my new macbook pro, how do I do that?

Were these songs purchased from iTunes, or somewhere else?

Auto sync is not working. How can I manually transfer music from my macbook pro iTunes to iphone 5? My iMatch is turned on and I can direct downlad my music to the iPhone from the Cloud; however, I want to direct import All of my music from iTunes to my iPhone 5 via the connecting USB cable and it is not working. Yes, I have tried restarting both devices, and no autosync is not working nor is is it providing the avaialbile option to select music in iTunes on my Mac to then sync. Please help. Thanks

Please disregard. I figured it out. Answer for anyone else running into this problem: You have to turn off iTunes Match on both devices. Apparently, if you activate iTunes Match it deactivates your abiltiy to direct sync.

You simply take out and look on the ram chip(s), the manufacturer's name should be all over the chip(s).
Not very helpful. Micron / Crucial makes maybe 2000 RAM types. If all you have is the RAM and the label you may be thin on luck.
Reading the manual +*that came with the mac*+ is one resource, regrettably rarely used before posting here.

How do I use iCloud to backup my Macbook Pro?

    Hi Rob
It sounds like my problem is the same as yours..... Sorry, but I'm a bit of an iPad dummy so am writing for some more clarification...
My problem is..... I am away from home and only travelling with my iPad, however we have sold our house and my bigpond email address on my iPad is getting clogged with all the solicitors stuff etc, so I really need these emails for my files...
I want to be able to backup these up (so that I can retrieve them later to print out and file) and delete them from my iPad...
I've just created an iCloud email account (I think) is this what you did? So should I forward all my emails to this iCloud email account? And will I be able to retrieve them later?
I hope you login here to see my question.....
    Thanks Janet

  • How do I sync iTunes music on a Macbook Pro to a PC via iCloud?

I have a Macbook Pro with all my music files on - I have recently upgraded my software to iOS5 and I am running Lion.
I have synced my iphone to my Macbook Pro via iCloud, but I would also like to sync my wife's PC laptop (Windows Vista) to my Macbook Pro, again for the music files - I have downloaded iCloud and iTunes on her PC with my Apple ID.
I was wondering if anyone knows how I go about syncing these two devices as I can't fathom out how to do it!

You don't use iCloud for this. You do it with iTunes.
On your iPhone 4s you need to use the same Apple ID for the iTunes Stores that you use on your Macbook Pro. Your iCloud ID can be different for syncing calendars, mail, etc. but in the iTunes stores on your phone, it needs to be the same Apple ID that you bought the apps/music with.

Works for me every time without failure.
It's not a matter of failure, it's the idea of training people to associate the Trash with unmounting a volume. The Trash is a mechanism for the permanent deletion of your data, and designed to appear as such. Apple haters used to laugh at this..."Eject by dragging to the Trash? And you say the Mac is intuitive? Ha ha ha..." And they were right. It's better to teach ways that actually make more sense.
The great thing about all the newer ways is that they are easily discoverable, you don't have to remember or figure out that you have to virtually trash your disk. A new user would naturally expect to find an Eject command or button, and there they are in plain sight.

I always find a ton of mounted installers left behind by users who install stuff on their systems.  I don't understand why Apple cannot make an automated process to unmount the installer once it's done.  Just seems stupid to me I guess.  I've seen that mounted installer confuse people into clicking on it each and every time they want to start the app because they don't understand that once it's installed, that installer should be ejected because they're done with it.
I agree about the installer volume behavior...and Apple made it worse in Mountain Lion by putting the volumes on the bottom of the Finder sidebar, which is often out of view. Incidentally, drag-to-trash does not seem to work with volumes in the sidebar, but the other Eject methods do.
The "installer problem" is another reason I love the other methods much more than dragging to the trash. To eject multiple volumes by selecting them and pressing Command-E is much faster than the time taken to gather them up with the mouse and drag all of them to a specific spatial target.

  • How do I find the wattage for my MacBook Pro mid-2009

I am thinking about purchasing a ChugPlug for my MacBook Pro. The suppliers, Lenmar tell me that it will work on any 13" MacBook Pro as long as it is a 45 or 60 watt MacBook.

  • How do I get icloud on a 2010 MacBook Pro?

I have a 2010 MacBook Pro and when I update my system preferences I don't get Icloud?  How do I install/download icloud?

Open the Mac App Store. Icon for it is in the Dock.
Once the App store is open search for Mavericks. That is IF your Mac can run Mavericks. If not you might be able to install Lion which you would first need to buy from the Apple Online Store, Link to that store is at the top of this forum page.

If it won't then it has already determined your machine is too old for Mnt Lion, in fact it's likely too old for 10.7 Lion too.
Your best option is to stay on 10.6.8 and save your pennies for a new 10.8 hardware coming out next release cycle or when that 10.6.8 machine dies.
10.7 was Apple's "Vista" anyway, you don't want it nor 10.8 that won't run your presently installed PPC based software and drivers for hardware.
I'm not sure how old my macbook pro is, how do I find out?
Apple Menu > About this Mac > more information and scroll down until you get a model like MacBook Pro 3,1.
Next download the free MacTracker and search for your model.
Would there be any other reason why the app store is telling me my computer is not compatible with mountain lion?
You might not have enough RAM installed on the machine and thus don't meet the specifcations for 10.7 or 10.8 on that.
The same process abouve will tell you the RAM (aka memory) amount) or you can use Activity Monitor in your Utilities folder.
Word is 10.7 and 10.8 like 4GB of RAM, despite Apple saying it can do with 2GB.
You don't need Lion to upgrade to Mnt Lion, Snow Leopard to Mtn Lion upgrades can accur no problem.
