How do I find my project files that I worked on in Trial Version 11

Dear Assistance,
A few months ago, I downloaded version 11 trial and made a few projects.
Yesterday, after taking some time away from these projects, I tried to open them and could not.
I was told I needed to purchase the product, as my trial version had expired.
Thus, I purchased the product, but apparently version 11 (my trial version) was replaced with version 12.
I still cannot find my projects that I made with the trial version.
Can anyone kindly give me some assistance?
Thank you very much in advance,
Ben

Hi Wadeen,
The projects are stored on your hard drive, premiere elements does not store the projects.
If you are using a windows based machine the default location where the projects are saved is
C:\Users\Username\MyDocuments\Adobe\Premiere Elements\11.0
or if you remember the project names you can manually search them.
Thanks

  • Please Help!! Can't modify files that I made in 08 Trial Version!!

    Hi again,
    I had the trial version of Xcelsius 2008 & created some dashboards with the trial. I then purchased the full version of 2008 and installed it on the same computer. I opened my documents that I had created previously with the trail, and I'm not able to edit the dashboard like I normally should be able to. When I double click on my componets, I don't get the normal properties tabs with all of the editing options...
    Please Help!

    Hi Renee
    Would you mind provide more info on the property tabs? What properties are missing and is the property sheet looks different than the regular ones?

  • How can I find an ID file that contains a text...?

    I've been working with InDesign for a long time. So, I have a lot of .indd files, from version 1 up to CS3.
    I need to find a file(s) that contains a specific text. E.g. the name of a person, that I'm sure is somewhere in my thousands of ID files.
    It's impossible to open all the files until I locate that text.
    In Windows Explorer, there's a way to search a word or phrase in a file, but it only returns doc, txt, rft, and other text files, even pdf. But not indd.
    Can somebody help me, please?
    Thanks,
    Hirao

    Have you tried changing the extension on your .indd files to .txt? It's
    a binary format, but there's a lot of plain text in there. The name
    you're looking for, or part of it, is probably in there somewhere.
    Search for the shortest possible text string. Some words are not continuous.

  • How do I find an audio file that I put on an iPod from a non-iTunes software?

    I'm talking about on the iPod itself, not looking at the folders when it is connected to the computer.
    I've put some audio files, podcasts and songs, that transfered from a non-iTunes podcast aggregator and songs that weren't in my iTunes library, but could not find them on the actual iPod device.  This, despite the files showing up on the device when looking at a list of files on computer screen once I connect to a computer.
    Asked this a few times now, and never got an answer.  Does anyone know what I am doing wrong here?

    - Only iTunes purchases will copy from iPod to computer.
    - If you sync manually and do not specify those modified songs to sync they will not sync to the iPod nor will the original version be deleted from the iPod
    - If you sync automatically and include those songs or select the modified songs to sync manually, the songs in the iPod should be replaced with the modified songs. However sometimes that does not happen

  • I had all of my video files that I work on in iMovie saved to an external hard drive exclusively to save space on my Macbook.  I had just finalized a project, went to work on another one and files couldn't be found, were not deleted how do I find them?

    I had all of my video files that I work on in iMovie saved to an external hard drive exclusively to save space on my Macbook.  The other day I had just finalized a project and went to work on another one and when I opened the project I could see what should have been there, but scrolling over the entire clip I would only see black and that the file was missing.  I did not drag anything on the hard drive to the trash or move anything.  How can I get those files?  These are videos of my kids and I am devastated and willing to try anything!

    Control click does not work - no option to find files.  I have no idea what to do.  When I look at the usage of the external drive the space is being used, but I cannot find the files.  I am going to try MacKeeper's Undelete and see if I can make any progress with it.

  • How can I make an ant file that launches an AS project app in a debug flash player that traces to the flex console?

    How can I make an ant file that launches an AS project app in a debug flash player that traces to the flex console?
    Basically I like the control over the compiling process that I get by using Ant - but I really want traces to come up immediately without having to switch contexts.
    I have an ant file that successfully launches a swf in the flashplayer - but I don't know how to make the flex console start displaying the trace output. I assume that I will have to point it to the appropriate trace output file - but I am not sure how to have ant even address the console.  Is this possible?
    Here is the the target node from my ANT file:
        <target name="launch">
            <exec executable="${FLASHPLAYER_EXE}" errorproperty="trace.output">
                <arg line="'${DEPLOY_DIR}\test.swf'" />
            </exec>
        </target>
    Thanks for any thoughts, or alternatives!

    For the record, I ended up using Logwatcher - it worked perfectly.

  • How can I create a URL for a PWA for MS Project Server 2010 project file that includes the view?

    Hi, this question has been answered for 2013. The answer here suggests that it can be done in  2010.
    See:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/projectserver/en-US/3affdc4f-36bf-4381-8b75-27c73465efd4/action?threadDisplayName=how-can-i-create-a-url-for-a-pwa-for-ms-project-server-2013-project-file-that-includes-the-view
    Who knows how?
    Regards

    Hi Sander,
    As far as I tested it, it is not possible either with PS2010. The URL only contains the PDP name and the projUID.
    Hope this helps,

  • LV RTE cannot open project files that have .lvlib references in Dependencies

    I'm writing a LabVIEW DLL to inspect LabVIEW project files, and I've noticed that if a project has a .lvlib reference in its Dependencies, then the Run-Time Engine contradicts itself about whether or not it can find the project file:
    Project.Open returns error 7 (file not found)
    Project.GetFileLVVersion is successful
    Here are snippets from my G and C code that exercise this behavior:
    int openStatus = StatusSuccess;
    char* projectVersion = createStringWithLength(VersionStringLength);
    printf("Analyzing %s\n", pathString);
    OpenProject(pathString, &openStatus, projectVersion, VersionStringLength);
    printf(" Project written in LabVIEW %s\n", projectVersion);
    if (openStatus == StatusSuccess)
    printf(" Opened project file.\n");
    else
    printf("Error: Could not find project file, or file was not a project file (error code %i).\n", openStatus);
    However, when running in the development environment, both methods succeed.
    Is this a bug, and if so, is it fixed in LabVIEW 2014?
    Here is how you can reproduce it:
    Prerequisites:
    LabVIEW 2013 SP1 32-bit
    ConEmu for a good console -- https://code.google.com/p/conemu-maximus5/wiki/Downloads
    minGW for compiling a program to use the LabVIEW DLL -- http://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw/files

    Unzip the attachment into a temporary directory (eg c:\xtra\temp)
    Open "OpenProject.lvproj" in LabVIEW.
    Build "Open Project Library".
    Using ConEmu with a bash prompt, navigate to the temporary directory.

    $ make

    gcc -std=c99 -g OpenProject.c -o OpenProject.exe -lOpenProject -Lbuilds

    Here is another way to trigger this behavior, which also shows that LabVIEW only sometimes tidies the Dependencies item:
    Open "OpenProject.lvproj" in LabVIEW.
    Add a new VI to the project and place the "Application Directory" file path constant its block diagram.
    Select "File » Save All (this Project)" and use the default name for the new VI.
    Type OpenProject 'c:\xtra\temp\OpenProject.lvproj'
    Notice there is an error again, as is expected.
    Remove the "Application Directory" file path constant.
    Select "File » Save All (this Project)"
    Type OpenProject 'c:\xtra\temp\OpenProject.lvproj'
    Notice the problem is gone, as is expected.
    Re-add the "Application Directory" file path constant to the block diagram.
    Select "File » Save All (this Project)"
    Type OpenProject 'c:\xtra\temp\OpenProject.lvproj'
    Notice there is no problem, which is surprising as there should be an error since the Dependencies item hasn't been tidied.
    Close the new VI and remove it from the project.
    Select "File » Save All (this Project)"
    Open "OpenProject.lvproj" in a text editor.
    Notice the Dependencies item has been tidied.
    Re-add the VI back to the project.
    Select "File » Save All (this Project)"
    Type OpenProject 'c:\xtra\temp\OpenProject.lvproj'
    Notice there is an error again, as is expected.

    The same behavior occurs in LabVIEW RTE: a new project with an Application Directory constant in a blank vi will return error 7 - file not found, but still return the correct version of LabVIEW in which the project was created.
    I've been experimenting with workarounds for this behavior, and I found one.
    When I provide the LabVIEW path for libdir in my executable's ini file, the run-time is able to load and inspect the project file.
    libdir="C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2013"
    While it's expected that a stand-alone executable may be placed on a system that doesn't have the LabVIEW IDE, it's still surprising to me that the Run-Time Engine cannot find LabVIEW's standard library without some explicit guidance. What other considerations contribute to that behavior?

    You can't do that.
    And before you decide to store any music that you own on a computer at work, talk to your IT department. Many organizations do not permit it for legal reasons. Standard policies are that anything stored on company owned computers is the property of the company. It could not be legally stored on their machines unless you transfer the licenses and all copies, physical and digital, to the company, meaning you no longer own the music. If they were to be audited and could not prove that they own the music, they would be subject to copyright violation penalties. Just use your iPod when you're at the office if you want to listen to music.

  • How can i find out the file size of a Keynote on an iPad please?

    How can i find out the file size of a Keynote on an iPad please?

    I think a rule of thumb is what you're looking for.
    Full bandwidth CD audio (AIFF): about 10 MB/min
    Apple Lossless: about 5 MB/min
    MP3 @ 256k: about 2 MB/min
    MP3 @ 128k: about 1 MB/min
    Of course the MP3 file size is exactly linear with bit rate.
    As for sound quality:
    Apple Lossless is, as the name says, lossless.
    MP3 @128k: fine for listening in the car or the kitchen etc. If you have an audiophile sound system, this will remind you why you spent all that money.
    MP3 @256K: barely distinguishable from CD on very good equipment.
    MP3 @320K: probably not distinguishable from CD.
    I presume that since you're talking about importing classical CDs these are ones you own. Remember you can always do it again if you need higher fidelity or if better technology comes out. I import most CDs at 128k, since most of my MP3 listening is in the car, or walking, or as background. And I can always play the CD if I want to sit and listen.
    The logic for purchased music is totally different -- you probably won't get to upgrade that without buying it some different way. So buying 128k MP3s (or AACs) is something you'll probably regret later. Buying 256k MP3s is a lot less problematic.

  • How do I find out a file in a disk?

    can anyone tell me
    how to I find out a file in a disk?
    Thanks in advance.

    That's almost a haiku you wrote there, isn't it?
    There's no standard API class/method to do that so you need to write your own: you'll have to pass through directories recursively. The File.list method will help you get file listings from a directory.

  • How do I find duplicate songs/files in iTunes 11?

    How do I find duplicate songs/files in iTunes 11?
    Earlier versions of iTunes had a simple menu option to click on.
    All duplicates would then be listed. Cannot find this option now.
    Regards ..... blayk.

    If you want to free up your memory, maybe first checking to see if you got duplicates. -
    From the File menu in iTunes, choose Show Duplicates. iTunes will then list all of the duplicate titles in your library.
    If you delete a music in the iTunes folder, then when you try to play that particular music in your iTunes, it won't work as iTunes wouldn't be able to find it. However, when you import music on to your computer, always import straight into your iTunes, no where else.

  • How do I find a corrupted file in a backup folder on my computer?

    I have recently had to replace the battery in my iphone, but before doing so, I had backed up the phone about 3 times, all saying they were successful.  And then I had erased the phone(before I realised the battery was the problem).  However when I went back to restore from the backup, it says that it cannot be restored because the backup is corrupt.  I read on one site that sometimes if a phone turns off or disconnects while backing, it might cause a corrupt file, and I think that's exactly what my phone did due to the battery issues.  The big question is, is it only specific files inside the backup folder that are corrupt?  And how do I find out which files they are?  Please help.

    Hi
    This can be an issue on other end ( server end ) as export to HTML works fine so Muse is exporting the files correctly but while exporting to external server if it stuck then we should check on server side if there is any problem related to specific file upload.
    As a workaround, you can use any FTP client and then upload the exported html files to root location.
    Thanks,
