  • How do i find out what version i'm running

How do i find out what version i'm running, i'm on CC (6 is it), i want to check if i'm running 6.0 or 6.01 - the update, i cannot see where my version is. If i press 'About Adobe Lightroom', it takes me to the credits box which shows what camera raw i'm running, nothing else.

This is beginning to make some sense, thank you.
At the top of the LR forum i see - Lightroom CC 2015.0.1/Lightroom 6.0.1 update now available
I am subscribed. Seems 6 is equivalentto CC. And 2015.0.1 is 6.01.
Upon opening Cats i get the attached. (Why does it not say CC :-)
A little complicated isn't it. I think we've gotten to the bottom of it.
I think it would help though when various announcements are made (I think I first saw Victoria Bs announcement regarding 6.01, but she and others have not mentioned that 6.01 may mean 2015.0.1 if you are CC)

Maybe it's set as a login item:
    - System Preferences: Users and Groups:
    - Highlight your user account in the left pane/list
    - Click "Login" tab at the top.
See if you have an Automater action on the list
    - Note, you can select it, then right-click, and can then select "Reveal in Finder". That way you might have an idea what installed it.

Hi, can anyone help me out with this question?
How can I find out which version of Ipod touch I have. I only have the model and serial numbers as it was a gift, but I would like to download IOS 5 if it is compatible?
Very frustrated Ipod user, any advice would be much appreciated.

I had the same problem because there are so many iPod models.  There is a great article in Wikileaks that explains it all and also has pictures.  I'm confident this answer your question.

  • How do I find out what version of unix my Mac is running?

Somebody wants to know what version of unix (BSD? Free BSD? whatever? and version number and release date) runs on Mac computers in Terminal under OS 10.6.x. Does anyone know what it is off the top of their heads? Is there a Terminal command that I can type to ascertain this information?
    Thanx

To the best of my knowledge, Mac OS X did not take anything from OSF/1 except maybe ideas.
What they did do, was take the Mach micro-kernel from Carnegie Mellon and the FreeBSD sources to create something that has similar components to OSF/1.  Apple even used newer Mach version than any of the official OSF/1 vendors (such as Digital Equipment Corporation's OSF/1 (aka Digital UNIX, aka Tru64 UNIX which I did kernel development work on while a DEC/Compaq/HP employee)).
Then again, I wasn't there when NeXT was started, so I could be wrong.  I just do not remember NeXT being part of the OSF/1 consortium.

  • HT5654 How do I find out what version of iTunes is on my iPad mini?

I'm trying to connect an iPad mini to my iMac and get a message indicating that the IPad mini cannot be used because it requires  iTunes version 10.7 or later. However, the iPad mini is only 2 months old so I would have thought it would have the latest version installed.  When I tried to check which version of iTunes was installed, I couldn't see it anywhere.

Thanks stedman1! The message that was displayed is confusing as it makes it sound like its the iPad mini's version. However, I can see that I have 10.6.3 on my iMac so will update this one.  Thanks again!

  • How do I find out what is in new versions?  What version to use?

We are currently using Instant Client 10.1.0.3 connecting to a 9.2.0.6 database. There are several newer version of OIC that are available (10.1.0.5 and 10.2.0.2). How do I find out what is in those versions and whether it is advisable to upgrade (upgrading 500 clients worldwide is no small task)?
Are there changes in either of these versions that address the vulnerabilities of CPU July 2006?
Our servers will be upgraded to 10gR2 in the next 6 months, if that is relevant to the question.

    I see your problem now.
Unfortunately Oracle does not disclose the bugs that are fixed in the CPUs.
It is certain that the fixes from CPU July 2006 are neither in Instant Client 10.1.0.5 nor in 10.2.0.2, because these came before the CPU.
Actually I was wrong in my previous reply, you can apply patches, and consequently also CPUs, to Instant Client. The description how to do this is well hidden in the C++ Call Interface Programmer's Guide, see http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/appdev.102/b14294/install.htm#sthref105
Basically you have to install the full client, patch it, and copy the patched shared libraries over the Instant Client libraries.
I guess if you want to do that, you will have to upgrade your Instant Clients to versions for which the CPU was released.
As to the question what is preferrable, 10.1.0.5 or 10.2.0.2, I'd go for 10.2.0.2 in the hope that it has less bugs. There have been voices on this forum saying that '10.2 is broken', but they have never given more detailed information when I asked. Maybe somebody will append to this thread.
    Yours,

  • How to find out what version of Adobe/Flash Access you're running

To find out what version of Adobe Access server you’re running, do this:
    1.          Unzip (or unpack) your flashaccess.war file (it’s just a zip file)
    2.          Navigate to: \flashaccess\META-INF\
    3.          Open “MANIFEST.MF” and look for “Implementation-Version” for something like 3.0.0296
    4.          That is your Adobe/Flash Access version#
    cheers,
    /Eric.

  • How to find out what version of DB Server was installed (32bit or 64)?

    Hello
Maybe somebody would know if there is any way
to find out what version of DB Server was installed (32bit or 64)?
I need this information when downloading patches from oracle metalink.
    PN

connect as sysdba using sqlplus and you'll get similar banner:
    Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.5.0 - 64bit Production
This shows you are running 64 bit version.
    OR
query the v$version (select * from v$version) you'll get the same as above.

  • How do I find out what the restrictions pass code is

My son is trying to purchase some additions to a game but when accessing the App Store he is asked for the restriction pass code. However we don't recall setting one up for him and he hasn't been asked for this before. Why? How do we find out what it is?  This is since upgrading to version 5.1.

If you restricted in-app-purchases in Settings/General/Restrictions, and you don't remember the restriction code anymore to disable the restrictions, you'll have to set up the iPod as new device again, without using the latest backup, the restriction code is part of the backup and can't be changed by restoring the device from a backup that has been taken after the code has been set.
How to back up your data and set up as a new device
If there are no restrictions set, the code he is asking for is the iTunes ID password, to be able to purchase and download. If you have forgotten that one, follow this article to reset it:
