How do I form texdt in a circle using Illustrator CS4?

As I (mis)understand it:
1) Create a circle;
2) With the Path Type Tool Click where you want the text to start, or have its centre, or end, depending on the Paragraph style, and just start typing.
If you wish to have the text symmetrically at the top, use Paragraph>Align Center and click the top Anchor Point. Then the text will spread symmetrically to both sides as you type.
Basically, the text is on top of the circle. You may adjust that in the Character palette, using Baseline Shift. You may flip the text opposite, or drag the text round the circle, by dragging at the I beam.

I wasn't able to (easily) find anything in the way of a textfield to type something into that you describe, but you can assign code for input textfields to detect when something changes in them and take action from that event. How you do it depends on which version of actionscript you are using.

What exactly do you mean "wrap text in a circle"? Wrap around a circular object such as a text object, like this:
Just insert the object from the insert menu > Shapes.
If you mean something else, yo will need to be a little more detailed.

Using form tools, I have added text boxes in my PDF that I would like to have the field name display. So the user would understand what kind of info they need to fill in. For example, [Type organization name here] in one box and [type address] in another. This is not an actual form, so I don't want to put those labels outside the field as shown on the adobe sample form.

You can add your text to the 'tool tip' for the field's properties, use the right mouse click.

It had a text item which was not null column in database. Now I made the column nullable in database.
However, in Apex form, it still refuses to accept any null value in that text item.
Where do I need to change in form to make it nullable?

Has the wizard created a not null validation for the column that was originally not null. Check validations and remove the entry.

How do I edit text in a fill-in form? I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro version 10.1.8 in Mac OSX. The document was created in Word, saved as a pdf, opened in Acrobat, and form fields added. Now I need to change some of the text on the original form (mostly just dates). Ideally, I wish there were a way to edit the forms overall - add or delete lines, edit text, etc. I've done this before, but I always seem to need to go back to Word, edit the original document, and then re-create the form fields... it takes me a huge amount of time, making sure each field is formatted correctly (font, size, wrapping, text resizing, etc) so it looks ok when the user enters their data and prints it. Please, tell me there is a better way!
If the solution is upgrading to a higher version of Acrobat, I'm listening... but ideally I can get this batch done in the software I have, then worry about learning the newest version.

Fonts are Licensed asset's subject to single user use. They are not intended to be exchanged, redistributed, etc.
As part of the PDF standard they included in a document so that the document can be viewed reliably without the font be installed on the viewing station.
To edit you must have the font installed on your computer. The ability for second parties to use the font would violate font licenses.

We are using NDS 2.0.9 & EP6.0.
I have the following doubts:
1) I have to change the text Form of Address which comes when we Create User in EP.
Can any1 please let me know how to change that text? Is there any .par file? What is the name of .par file (if any) which is used to Create User in EP6.0??
2) I am getting the value of this form of address by request.getSalutation() in PDK, but this value is coming in the Welcome Message in the masthead. I tried to change the masthead by changing the corresponding code, but i am getting a runtime error. Is there any other method of making this salutation value NOT appear in the masthead welcome message?

within HeadiView.jsp, you'll find this code fragment:

} else {
return java.text.MessageFormat.format(welcomeClause, new Object[] {firstName, lastName, " "}).toString();
Just delete the first part and always use the second:
return java.text.MessageFormat.format(welcomeClause, new Object[] {firstName, lastName, " "}).toString();
This will delete the salutation without errors

How to use apex_item.text in a collection or tabular form

I have a table with table names. (simplified)
create table test (tab_nm VARCHAR2(30) )
Now I want to present this tables on a tabular form with a checkbox and a text item to put the short name for this table name.
So I was thinking in the way of
select apex_item.checkbox(1,ids) check,
tab_nm,
apex_item.text(2,c001) short_name
from test;
Ibut this doesn't work since the c001 column does not exist.
So I probably should go for a collection, but how do I do that and how to process the text put in in the text item?

Hi Marc,
I think the purpose is different. I want to create a 3 column report with a checkbox to select the tables I want to use and because I do not store the shortname in the table I want the user to be able to give the shortnames himself for the selected tables.
So
checkbox tab_nm from table item( filled in by user but not stored in table)
x table 1 tab1
x table2 tab2
table3 tab3
writing this I 'm considering to save the short names because it can give conflicts if a shortname is used twice
Purpose is to generate tables, with sequences and triggers dynamically from the selected tables.

I ve gone through your problem. My suggestion is just shift that char or no. of char to the next line and make that line as COMMENT LINE. It will work. But i dont find any other solutions for this except this.

Hi all, may i know how to collapse unused text field in a PDF form. Etc, we have alot of description line for user to enter the info, but some line will be left unused, so i was wondering whether can i hide those unused text field. But when i need them, i just expand it and use it.

I don't think w/o UI Customization it is possible.
UI customization won't be a small one as it is a common wizard and used at multiple places. So it will be a huge work.

For Scripts
Go to SE38. Put in the program name RSTXSCRP. Execute it.
Mode(Export/Import) : Import.
Give the file name from which you want to upload and execute it.
For Smartforms
TCode : smartforms.
Give the form name.
Utilities-->Upload form.
