How do i get a download that was interupted and will not resume?
I tried downloading an album and was told to find a wifi connection due to the last two items size requiring it. i found the wifi only to find out my iphone no longer connects to wifi. i plugged it in to my laptop to resume the download, but no luck. anyone got any ideas? I will not pay for the download a second time!

If you have a recent iCloud backup that was done when that message was on the devcie, you can restore from that backup.
No, Apple does not keep your messages, no do they have access to them. That would be a serious invasion of privacy, don't you think?

Mavericks download was interrupted and will not resume
I'm upgrading from 10.6.8 that is current and updated to Mavericks. I began the download, all was well until about 3/4 the way through and my internet connection was interrupted. I received a warning window saying that the download was interrupted and I lost my internet connection. I reconnected to the internet and I cannot seem to get the download going again. The app icon that was downloading on my icon bar is no longer there, the App store does not give me the option to resume the download, I've followed multiple walkthroughs detailing how to restart an interrupted download to no avail. The App store 'purchases' tab has OS X Mavericks on it with the option to download and nothing else. I've clicked the download button to either restart or resume and I get the gray wheel of fortune and when that stops spinning, nothing happens. The gray download button turns white while the grey wheel of fortune is spinning but shortly afterwards it returns to a dark gray. I've navigated back to the OS X Mavericks page and the download option says 'downloading' but as far as I can tell, nothing is happening. I have no icon on the launch bar showing that it is downloading and my network monitor does not show that I'm downloading anything. Also, going to the 'my account' tab in the App store and looking for 'hidden downloads' is unsuccessful. When I open the 'my account' tab, I don't even have the option to view any downloads, only account information and my account nickname.
For reference, I'm deployed over seas with a poor internet connection. This is now day 3 of trying to download OS X Mavericks, so any help would be appreciated.I had the same problem, then I noticed it was downloading even while it was showing paused. After clicking resume, look at your Launchpad icon and see if you have a progress bar below the icon.

You need to import the CD into iTunes on your computer and then sync the tracks to your iPad.

From what you're describing appears to be Activation Lock, a security measure provided by Apple that makes it harder for people to use a lost or stolen device. You will need to enter the password for the Apple ID the device is prompting you for.

I have attempted to download Lion multiple times. Somehow it pauses during download and will not resume. I begin again at App Store. Start the install over. I have attempted this numerous times without success. Not sure why I cannot get the download to resume and I don't know why it pauses to begin. Estimated time to download....6.5 hours UGH. Help?
Your system should be OK. I suspect the issue may be with your Comcast service. Have you tried downloading anything else, for example navigate to 10.6.8 Update Combo and see if you can download that OK. If that works OK then you can go to the Mac App Store and navigate through their Support. You can find a link to that in the Mac App Store Quick Links.
The problem is we don't know where the problem is. One thing you can also do is find a free app on the Mac App Store and see if it will download OK. If it does then you should contact AppleCare or visit your local Apple Store or AASP for some help. -

You cannot use a SIM card on a carrier locaked phone, other than a sim from the carrier the phone is locked to. You must first get the carrier it is locked to, to unlock your phone. Apple does not unlock phones.

now have a brand new MacBook Pro (and used my time machine to back up from my old mac) and when trying to open InDesign files - gives a list of plugins that are missing and will not open the document.
I'm a graphic designer- so this is not an option..
Please Help!You can install Adobe Programs ONLY from the originals installer which is provided from Adobe. Time Machine (which is a form of migration) will not result in working Adobe programs. As Bob said, use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, which is also working for CS versions, to wipe out everything from Adobe and start with a clean installing.
I am not sure, if CS4 is running on Maverick, at least it is not supported officially, your are here alone. It might be so that you have to upgrade your software to a later version. -

Reset the system
You can reset the Mac's parameter RAM and SMC.
Reset the resolution
Start by resetting the Mac's parameter RAM. If the display does not come up, was previously set to an unsupported resolution, and still results in no video:
Start up in Safe Mode.
From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
Choose Displays from the View menu to open the preferences pane.
Select any resolution and refresh rate that your display supports.
Restart your computer.
See if that resolves the issue and gets your video playing again.

When I open iTunes, it will not allow me to preview or download TV shows. The preview and download options are gray and will not let me view them. Click on your preference and check the Parental tab for possible restrictions. Open iTunes, then click the iTunes menu, select preferences after the window opens click on the Parental icon, take a look at the content restrictions section.

Many people have upgraded and accidentally created a new account on their Macs.
So, try logging out of the current user and see if your old user account is available to log in to. If so, log in and make sure everything is ok in that account.
