How do I get Adobe Acorbat to open a .pdf file from a sharepoint library without having to checkout the file

I have a customer that is using Adobe Acrobat pro version 10.1. When they try and open a .pdf file from a SharePoint site, the user is prompted to check out and open the file or open the file. Is there a way to get Adobe Acrobat to open the .pdf file without prompting to check out or open?

This is mostly a lion thing, rather than a PSE thing. To disable applications opening where they left off last time for all the programs on your computer, go to system preferences>general and untick this box:
You can also do on a per-program basis, but it's more complicated and the best thing to do is to search around for directions on the web and see which way is least uncomfortable for you.
There's an odd little glitch in PSE that it opens the last image you had open, even if you closed it before quitting last time. Adobe says this is correct behavior, but of course it isn't.

For your addressbook, export the files to vCard on the PowerMac, then bring them over to your Mac Pro. For your iPhoto, copy the Users -> yourname -> Pictures folder to your Desktop on the Mac Pro, and open iPhoto on the Mac Pro holding the command and option keys. Select the library file from that Pictures folder and open it. It should import all the pictures into iPhoto as part of the rebuild process. How do I set up a .pdf form to save filled data without having to print the form? I have provided my clients a lifecycle .pdf form they can use to record data for unique client meetings. They want the ability to save their completed data whenever they use the form under a unique file name. I've told them the only way I know how to do this is to print the completed form as a .pdf document and then save it.
Is their a way to save the data to a unique file name without printing the filled form?
Is there a way to reset the form with blank fields after saving? or to add a clear fields button?

If you reader extend a pdf using livecycle reader extensions then you can save the filled in data - this is true if you are using Adobe reader to view the PDF's. If you open it in Acrobat then the functionality is already there.

I'm sorry to hear your screen is cracked spence425. I know its difficult to use the phone while its damaged. I'm happy you are receiving a replacement device. Have you saved any of your pictures and other data to the cloud? Here is a link about the cloud http://vz.to/1mF0GIx . Unfortunately, you will be unable to remove any data from the phone if the screen is unresponsive but if you are looking to transfer data to your new phone, it would have needed to be saved via the cloud first. Then I suspect you do not have iTunes Match enabled. Using that "delete all" command in the Settings does not remove the music from the cloud, nor does it disable iTunes Match. With iTunes Match enabled you will still see all the music.
So go to Settings > iTunes and App Store and make sure iTunes Match is set to ON (green).

Hello,
There are two types of buttons in APEX. The first is a button in a region position. In this type, you can use a target URL, so you can use the same URL as in your list.
The second type is button display among items. This type can only submit your page, so you can't use it to open your PDF document. However, you can define your own HTML button, and use the onclick event to open your document. I have a mac powerbood g4. whenever i try to open a pdf document from a search engine or as an attachment to email or as a movie ticket it i can't 'open' the document, even if i have adobe open in another window. i'm always required to save it somewhere, and even then it doesn't always save as a pdf document, but sometimes as another type of file that my computer doesn't even recognize, as occurs with online movie tickets with cineplex.

How can I re-sync my iPhone and iPad after accidentally deleting my iTunes library (without losing all of the apps on my devices)?

Long story short: A sequence of bad decisions on my part caused me to delete my entire iTunes library (song files, apps, itl file, everything in the music folder). Another bad decision left me without a Time Machine backup of this folder. I have a backup of my music and I can redownload audiobooks from Audible, so I'm not stressed out about my audio.
The problem is my iPhone and iPad. I've downloaded >400 apps and have over 100 on each device. How can I begin syncing them to this new, app-free library without having every app deleted (along with their organization, settings and related-documents). I use these devices heavily so this is a huge conundrum for me.
The next step would seem to be to restore my audio files to a new iTunes library, but how do I then sync my devices to that library without wiping out every app on my iDevices? I'm a pretty technical user and am willing to hand edit the ITL files if necessary. I think that i _may_ be able to find a version of the itl file that's about a year old from an ancient backup. But that still doesn't solve the whole problem.

I managed to lose an earlier reply I'd started before you came back with your "solved" so I didn't bother to retype it.
It went something like this:
You should be able to recover the media with the tips in this post from forum regular Zevoneer but I'm not sure what the implications are for your application settings. You can probably transfer your purchases into an authorised library, backup the device, recover any other media using third party tools, then restore the device from the backup.
The older .itl file is useful however as iTunes should see this as the "home" library for your device which will allow you to preserve the application settings. (.itl file? Mac? I assume the library has migrated from PC to Mac at some point). Any files in the Previous iTunes Libraries folder or did you kill those as well? The most recent of these would be the best place to start.
And no, the .itl file is not editable by mortals...
Once you've restored the media from backups or recovered whatever else you useful can from the device, the scripts MusicFolder Files Not Added and Super Remove Dead Tracks should help get the library up to speed with the contents of the media folder.

HT2506 How do I get Adobe Acrobat to see/print pdf forms I've filled out in Preview

I've been working in Preview and filling out Adobe Acrobat created forms according to instructions from the help in Preview. However, whent these filled forms are submitted to someone and opened in Adobe Acrobat, they can neither see what I've filled out nor can it be printed (all that comes out is a blank form). How can I properly fill out the forms so that Acrobat can see and print the filled out forms.

Just as I suspected, Preview is mucking up the DD Form 1351-2 form. I filled it out, saved it in Preview and opened it in Acrobat Pro and the fields were blank. If I open it in Reader, I can fill out the form, save it, and open it in Acrobat Pro just fine, all data intact.
I don't know why Preview does such a bad job with forms - I just know that as an AcroForms designer, I always suggest using Reader to fill in forms.
BTW, I also tried it in Windows 7, using Reader and Acrobat Pro, and it worked as expected.

    On an existing network I added separate domain in a separate forest using WS2012.
    Lets call it "MyDomain" and "MyForest" on WS2012.
    In MyDomain and MyForest I am the only domain administrator.
    The problem is if you go to "File Explorer" and click on "Network" in MyDomain in MyForest,
I see that other server administrators have added their servers and workstations to
MyDomain in MyForest but I never added them as users or administrators to my domain in my forest.
    So the question is how can a someone from a separate domain in
a separate forest add servers and computers to MyDomain in Myforest
when I haven't added them as user or administrators or given them
any permission in MyDomain in MyForest?

Using the network in file explorer, this shows machines that the computer has automatically detected using built in Microsoft processes. All this means is that you have other computers on the same physical network as yourself. These are no necessarily part
of your domain. If the machines are set to respond, then so long as they receive a discovery request from your PC they will respond and populate that list. This does not mean they are part of your domain, or that they have access to any of your computers (
apart from low level stuff like ping which does not rely on domain membership.)
Apart from a Domain Admin, the only other people who can make changes to your domain are whoever is an Enterprise Admins. Domain Admins have control over their domains but Enterprise Admin have full permissions to the entire Active Directory infrastructure,
no matter which forest or domain it is.
