How do I get an older update?

Right now I'm running Logic 10.0.3 and OS 10.8.5 on a 2009 Mac Pro Nehalem. As someone with a relatively stable rig, I have hesitated to upgrade unless absolutely necessary. They are running a more recent version on Mavericks at the school where I teach, and there are some enhancements that I would like to take advantage of. Using the Software Update, however, all I can get is one unavailable update for 10.1, which tells me I have to upgrade to Yosemite, which I am totally NOT going to do at this point.
So, is there any way to find 10.0.6 or 7 on the Apple Support site or anywhere else? It doesn't seem to be available on the App Store.

No... You cannot download older LPX updates once a newer version is released. The older versions of LPX become unavailable...
If you are running Mavericks 10.9.5 or higher then you should be fine with LPX 10.1.1 (The latest version of LPX) and you should be able to download that from the update tab. You do not need to update to Yosemite... to run 10.1.1.. You can do so under Mavericks 10.9.5 which is the minimum OS X requirement.
If you are running Mavericks 10.9.4 or older then you will need to stick with LPX 10.0.3
Note: The latest versions of Logic (10.1.x) do seem to be more stable under Yosemite than Mavericks... but Yosemite places greater loads on the hardware so you may also see a performance drop... so it's a bit of a balancing act as to which route you should take.
Additional: Unless you already have downloaded or purchased a copy of Mavericks... you cannot legally obtain it from anywhere these days as like older version of LPX, Mavericks is no longer available via the Mac App Store to new users..

You can undo a lot of changes, either via changing settings or prefs on the <b>about:config</b> page or via extensions.

Do a clean reinstall of the version that you want to use.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

How do I get the older version of imovie?

Our church has asked me to create some short video clips and, since I sold all my video equipment when I retired from the wedding scene, I only have access to iMovie. It seems adequate for their simple needs but I understand that the prior version was much better than the latest and I was wondering how I can get the older version. The version I have is 10.0.06. You need an iLife '11 instal DVD. They are still available from Amazon I believe. You can update this to the last version (9.0.9) at: iMovie 9.0.9
If you are already familiar with iMovie 9, want to burn DVDs or have clips from old cameras then fine. If not I would recommend persevering with iMovie 10

Attempting to use it, the program informed me that I needed to be using, either, an EI or a Firefox Browser mentioning version 1.5 {I think it was} or later. The Firefox browser I was using was 3.something; so, everything was going along FINE. When I installed the video capture program, it added the plugin to the browser ~ PERFECTLY!!! I asked the Apple Tech support people and their advice worked for me, it's a setting on the iPad itself. see below.
Follow the below instructions to sign in with your new account name.
1) From the home screen, tap Settings
2) Tap Store
3) Tap Sign Out
4) Tap Sign In
5) Enter your current account name "xxxx" and your password and tap OK.
If you are still unable to change the sign in name on your iPad, please sign into your account on your computer and then sync the iPad so the changes will be updated.

All you have to do is connect your new iPod to the computer that has the library for your old iPod.
When iTunes comes up, click on your new iPod under Devices.
At the top of the Summary Page click Music.
Click Synch Music.
Do the same thing for Photos, Apps, Movies and so on...
Now just synch the iPod.
