My My Yahoo homepage suddenly switched from windows format to App. I hate it how do I get back the old format?

If you can access the drive using MacDrive, the path to your user home folder is
<top level>/Users/<your short user name>/
I don't know of any way to access that drive, other than connecting it to another Mac.

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.

When you say "2 minutes ago" was that literally 2 minutes ago, or did the page stay idle for some time? The page does not automatically update and continues to show the times of posts when last opened. If you leave the page and return to it, it will then update (reload) with new elapsed times.
Questions and replies come thick and fast. Perhaps the thread has been pushed down the page by newer posts. It could have been pushed to another page. Click on the Next button (top and bottom of page). "Next" is actually older posts (they are stored in descending time order).
Have you followed suggestions by b j t and ~Bee?

A new tab opens by default as a blank tab (about:blank).
If that isn't the case then an extension has changed that behavior.

I am replying to myself. I called for Tech support and found out that when I tapped on the link I went to a web page in Safari and to double tap on the home button at the bottom of the iPad and then tap on "Mail" to get me back where I was.
I hope this helps anyone else with the same question.

Do you have the Test Pilot Addon? Test pilot was expirimenting with new tab pages recently, to determine which new tab page should make it into a later version of firefox (probably 9 or 10). I believe the study is over now, so they have removed the new tab page.

My Mozilla Firefox start page changed yesterday. It's cumbersome. How do I get back the start page I had previously?

The new start page fills the whole screen. You have to bump the cursor against the top margin to reveal the bar showing the tabs and the 'X' to close in the RH corner. At the bottom the start page covers the 'start' box and the information on the bottom row. Now I can't click directly on Bookmarks - I have to click the logo and then use the sidebar to access the bookmarks. I have also lost the ability to switch between the net and the document I am working on.
This new configuration may suit some people, but the previous one was straightforward and better for me. How do I get it back, and prevent Firefox updating it again to this version?

You need to look for your itunes library under Computers and select it, then music.

The "Use custom settings for history" setting allows to see the current history and cookie settings, but selecting that setting doesn't make any changes to history and cookie settings. 
Firefox shows the "Use custom settings for history" setting as an indication that at least one of the history and cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that changes were made. 
If all History settings are default then the custom settings are hidden and you see "Firefox will: (Never) Remember History".

Yesterday while trying to find info, I noticed a bold W in the search box. Now, no matter what I type in the search box, I get taken to Wikipedia. It will not allow me to search for other web sites. I'm using Firefox ver 12. All searches have been working fine before yesterday. I did a system restore, but it didn't help. Don't know where it came from, but I want my other search engines back.

Background:
I downloaded an image management software that I forgot I purchased.
I don't think that was the cause of the problem, but I figured I'd mention it.
The program started to be annoying, so I closed it, and threw it in the garbage.
1. What has happened is that I cannot see the small photos on a page.
2. I cannot see the Insert IMage (camera icon) to insert photos, and when I tried to copy & paste, nothing happened.
Everything worksw well when I use my Google Chrome Browser.
Unfortunately, when I am in the Google Chrome Browser and migrate to the "Apple Support Communities", my compyutuer is "Pirated"
by Apple Safari, and everthing goes blank (photos and what I described on this page - no icon for add image, no options for type (colour, etc.)
Can someone help me - please!

Hello Once More.
I think I figured out the solution to my own problem:
Image # 1: Problem with using Safari - no small photos appearing on Web Pages
Image #2: No Problem Using Google Chrome - Small Photos Appear
Image # 3: Why I couldn't add any photos or modify writing (Safair Problem)
Even when I used Google Chrome, Safari would Pirate the Browser Platform and replace Chrome.
Image #4: Somehow, when I was using Safari, and the top menu (developer), the images were "disabled". As a consequence, I couldnlt see any small images. What I did is to "enable images".
That worked!

How Can I Get Back the Options to Paste with Formatting?

I am using Dreamweaver CS5 on a Windows 7, 64-bit machine. It's been up and stable for months and months.
I don't recall installing anything before this happened or doing anything strange, but...
... recently Paste Special or Paste has stopped allowing me to past with either "Text with structure plus basic formatting (bold, italic)" or "Text with structure plus full formatting (bold, italic, sytles)
Those last two radio buttons on the Paste Special panel are grayed out.
This afternoon I re-installed DW CS5 from the installation discs and ran the updater (I did NOT first delete DW.) Reinstalling did NOT repair the problem.

Here is what is going on..
the above image is the default dreamweaver c&p
the above image is the area trying to paste.. which includes an entire row of html within a table and includes an image. so i try to copy and paste.. the following is the end result.
and finally here is the paste special options i am given.
