How do I get firefox to save tabs when I quit the program? This doesn't appear to be available in 4.0
On previous firefox version, when I quit the program, a prompt would ask me if I wanted to save tabs. That doesn't appear to be happening with 4.0 upgrade. Can I still save and quit?
One change in Firefox 4 is to by default stop Firefox displaying the warning message, but it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.

I needed to upgrade to Firefox 4.0+ for an add-on that I really needed. However, I can't use Firefox 5.0, as I randomly checked 3 add-on's I had: "Firefox PDF", "Delicious Bookmarks" and "After the Deadline", and none of them worked with Firefox 5.0. In fact, I will have to download alpha versions, etc., to get these add-ons to work with Firefox 4.0. -
How can you get your iPod touch open when you forgot the password and its disabled and not connected to the Internet Connection and you don't want to reset it.
Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -
How do I get video from my iPhone to iMovie? The videos download to iPhoto, but are not "available" in iMovie when I select iPhoto in event library.
I haven't launched iMovie in a while, and I've used iPhoto to import many videos from my iPhone's Camera Roll since the last time I launched and used iMovie.
iMovie prompted me to create/update the thumbnails for my iPhoto videos, along with indicating no iPhoto videos will be available with iMovie until this is completed.
Not sure how to do this manually, but this may be your problem. -

How do I get firefox to save my tabs?
When firefox used to close unexpectedly, it would save my tabs so the next time I opened it, it would restore the session. I just got a new computer with a new operating system (Windows 7) and also updated firefox and so I'm not sure which has changed, but I wonder if there is a way to get it back to saving tabs when it closes?
Use History > Restore Previous Session to open the saved session.

When I set up a computer at work and used it to check on personal accounts real quick, I didn't think I should save my personal info. Turns out I'm the only on using it and I can do whatever I want. The boss will only use Internet Explorer, if he uses my computer at all. And he said he doesn't care what I use it for during slow time. So, now I want to save my personal accounts info on Firefox. But how?I had exactly the same problem with YouTube, having previously deleted an account and in the process of setting up a new one at a later date. At the time of deleting I had deleted the YouTube 'Username and Password' from Firefox but could not get it to remember the new, in fact the option to save did not even appear.
I looked in 'Exceptions' but as expected nothing was there. I then remembered that YouTube is now part of Google so went into 'Options/Security/Saved Passwords/Search for 'Google' which brought up all the different Google Usernames and Passwords, in fact some did not have Passwords, and deleted the lot. Went back into YouTube, logged in and Hey Presto was asked if I wished to retain the Username and Password.
What other Google apps I have, I already have saved Usernames and Passwords stored elsewhere so no worries about not getting into them. Seems Google can sometimes be a pain in the neck. -
I want Firefox to save my passwords as it has in the past, but now it is not doing so. I am using version 6.0.2, I see the pop up asking to remember the password, but firefox does not save the passwords. What can I do to correct this so FF starts saving my passwords?
Firefox 4 and later versions place a key icon on the location bar that allows to (re)open the dialog to save the password at any time.<br />
That pop-up dialog has a button labeled with "Remember Password".<br />

I dont understand the performance limitation. I dont want to save pages, I just want to save what's shown in the "Library" utility: Page Name, Location and Visit Date.
I frequently find myself wanting to locate a page I visited months or even years earlier, and can usually figure it out based on those 3 things.

I do not understand from that article what, if anything, I can do to prevent Firefox from deleting this information - Page Names, Location and Visit Date - older than 60 days.Hmmm, you're nowhere near the max pages. I've got over 92,000 with a max just under 105,000. As for performance, consider that Firefox checks history regularly for autocompleting URLs.
If you are seeing a sharp date-based cut-off, I wonder whether an extension or some external software is involved? I don't see a built-in way to set a date for that. -
In the old firefox, when I hit the bookmarks tab they were listed on the side bar. Now when I hit the bookmarks tab I have to go to the unsorted bookmarks and pick my bookmark from there. How do I get them to ist in the side bar like before?

How can I get my iPod to update when it says the server cannot be connected?
Whenever I try to update my iPod it says, "The iPod software update server could not be contacted. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later." It does this every time. How can I get it to update? Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers

Firefox comes up in "safe" mode. How do I turn it off. I can't use the program this way.
About two weeks ago some virus (?) got in my computer. I lost everything and had to reload everything.
When I reloaded Firefox it came up 'locked'. Nothing would react to my mouse.
I discovered it came up in "safe" mode. I removed the program and reloaded it again. It came up in safe mode again. When I hit start and look at programs Firefox is there and under it is another Firefox program with safe mode in parenthesis. I can't use it this way.
