How do I get Firefox to show the proper font and layout of a site when it keeps loading an older version of that site? (I have cleared cache and cookies already)
We are having a new website developed and my designer has made changes to it. Despite clearing the cache and cookies, the fonts are not showing up as the actual fonts. Also, the form fields at the bottom are extending beyond the border on the right side of the box on my screen, but this does not happen for other people using Firefox - it is only on my computer.
I AM ON A MAC.
I received a suggestion to reload the page and bypass the cache with:
* Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
BUT - this did not work.

It used to be ok. I had a firexox teeshirt from way far back, firefox 1.0. Then i had a hemorrhagic stroke, about 3 years ago. Now i'm back, in a new place, for two months now.
(I use my left hand now...) and once again, i have a desktop, with win-xp (and five internal harddrives, and a 600w ps.) Anyway, for the first time with my new desktop, there is a cursor in the bottom of firefox, and it doesn't show everything, left to right unless i move it.
I've been out of commission, with only a laptop, with win-7-64bit edition, that i got just 7 months before my stroke. My sister threw away all of my desktops...many of which i built. The doctor said i may die...so my sister didn't even wait, but threw away my CLOTHES AND BOOKS AND COMPUTERS (except for the laptop), but she saved most of my harddrives...i guess i taught her how to save harddrives.
Anyway, it's been three years, since i've had no 32bit computer with win-xp, and i can't figure out how to make things go back to the way i'm used to. HELP! I was in your forums, when my e-mail was [email protected], which it will be again , soon. But for how, how do i get firefox to show all, left to right, without a bottom cursor? i know it's possible. Firefox 22 has a new way of setting the default zoom level: it is based on your Windows font size setting. So, if you set Windows fonts to 125% (enlarged 25%), your Firefox pages also will be enlarged 25%. On pages that do not adjust their layout, you may get a horizontal scroll bar.
To reduce the zoom on a page, hold Ctrl and tap the - key (the one on the numeric keypad or the one on the number row of the keyboard). The zoom should be reduced for each tap.
If you want to globally adjust your zoom level to be lower, you can use either of these add-ons:

When I open an event, including flagged items, the photos appear one by one, not as thumbnails, so I can't export more than one phot at a time. How do I get iPhoto to show the thumbnails?
I've tried rebuilding the thumbnail database, but that hasn't helped.What version of iPhoto and system are you running?
Try moving the Zoom slider at the bottom of the iPhoto window all the way to the left. Does that let more than one photo display in the window?

I was trying to view a video I uploaded to facebook using firefox. The system told me to down load adobe flash player. I did but still get the message that I need to down load flash player. How do I get firefox to see the down loaded adobe flash player?
by installing from within Firefox, Internet Explorer has its own version (Active-X).

How do you get it to show the temperature when you scroll down?
On some some IDevices I see when you scroll down, it shows the temperature and the date. But on my iPad mini when I scroll down, it just shows the day. But at the bottom it says, " weather information provided by yahoo" I have yahoo weather installed. How do I get it to show the temperature too? Thanks.
Settings->Privacy->Location Services->Weather-> Turn it on.
It will show your current locations weather. Note that it uses GPS and internet access. so it may use your Cellular Data and battery. -

How do I get it to show the date & time.
How do I get it to show the date & time at all times. I don't want to have to click on the day & time to get the date. In the OS 10.4 I could at least get it in the "analog" format. Under leopard it just show a little clock that can't be read.

When importing CDs into i-tunes should the artwork be there automatically. If not how do I get artwork to show in i-tunes and on my ipod. I had artwork with a PC but now I have a mac artwork does not appear.
I don't use iTunes's "fetch artwork", so I'm not 100% sure, but unless you are signed in to your iTunes account, artwork is not automatic. Even then, iTunes doesn't always find it.
You can copy-and-paste artwork from the inernet, either Amazon or Google. I use 300x300 pixel images.
For the future, if you have iTunes questions, you might be better off posting them in the iTunes for Mac forum, this is iTunes for Windows. In this situation, it doesn't make any difference, but next time maybe it will. -
How do you get Firefox to remember the response sent to remember password for a web site and not ask over and over? The desktop version has a dialog box that you can check that says "Don't ask me this again". The mobile version doesn't. A real pain!

This sounds like a known issue reported here:

There was a workaround posted, but I've not tested it myself. Here are the steps.
# Go into Yahoo Messenger Options - Change the Window in the dropdown to Tab and press OK.
# Then go back and switch it to small window and press OK.
Once the bug is officially resolved, you could try running a Nightly or Aurora build to use the fix early.

I have Notes that transferred to an Email acct when I set up the acct. The Notes no longer appear in the Notes app only in the Email acct. How do I get them out of the Email acct and back to Notes? I stopped at an Apple store and they told me to copy them from the email back to Notes. But when I was in the email acct, I could not find a way to copy them. Shouldn't Notes remain in Notes unless I specifically send them somewhere else?
Go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, select that email account on the right-hand side of the screen and turn Notes 'on' for it - they should then appear in the Notes app instead of as an email folder in the Mail app (they will still be linked to that email account, so you may need to tap the 'Accounts' button at at the top left of the list of notes)
