How do I get google +1 to quit popping up when I am surfing the web with firefox on my I PAD? I cannot see what I clicked on it just keeps showing a white screen. I tab back and it keeps going back to the +1 screen.

Who is your email account with? Can you go into that account via the web and browse through the settings to set up spam and junk folders so that they are never downloaded? The problem with this of course is that some programmes wrongly identify such emails at times and there will be occasions when genuine emails are not downloaded to your device. It will be a toss up between periodically checking these folders via the web and putting up with unnecessary alerts.
The other option is to switch off alerts for all emails. Ths is the system I operate.

How do I get firefox to open a new window when i click on a link in a webpage ?

When I click on a link in a webpage in Firefox, generally it opens the new page in the window i am in (though some times it does not). How do I get it to open a new window (or tab) each time I click a link.
For example, on www.bbc.co.uk if I click on a link, the new page opens in the same window, if I then click another link in the new window, again, it opens in the same window. To get back to the original window, I have to use the back button twice. Surely there is a setting so that all 3 windows can be open on separate tabs or separate windows.
I have been to the tabs window in options, but doesn't seem to make a difference.

How do I get google talk to accept my password when using imessage?

I have both a MacBook Air and Pro using iOS X - Maverick. For the longest I have not been able to use iMessage with Google Talk. I need to be on Google Talk for work and decided to set it up. I set it up, but when I shut it down and then re-open it, Google Talk will not accept my password. When I go to Google, it indicate suspicious behavior. I can't find anywhere that will allow me the option allow imessage to use google talk in my google settings. Please help.

I updated to iTunes 11. Now, whenever I open iTunes, the tutorial window pops up. I can close it, but there's no option to check off to never show it again. Does anyone know how to disable it?

The first thing to try is "Keychain Access" menu > "Keychain First Aid". That will offer to check your keychain for problems and possibly fix them.
If that doesn't resolve it, and if you have not explicitly added secure notes, custom certificates, or are otherwise are not even sure what keychain does yet, then there may be an easy solution for you. Just go to Keychain's "Preferences" dialog and click the "Reset Keychain" button. If prompted, allow Keychain to synchronize with your login password. Then, the next time your email application prompts you to enter a password do so and choose to allow Keychain to save it. You may need to do this for both the sending and receiving servers. That should solve the issue. Note that this will move your old keychain aside and create a new "clean" one.
Although that solution is rather generic for all Keychain issues, I have also experienced one specific reason that Keychain will frequently request a password. This occurs if you have created or opened additional keychains other than the default "login" keychain. If you have been playing with keychain and have created a second keychain or opened a keychain copied from another Mac, then try closing that keychain and see if the issue goes away.

Question. How do I get my LR4 to stop freezes up when I try to import.

I have LR 4, and every time I try to import any new pictures the system just freezes up. It so frustrating I want to throw this piece of garbage out the windows. I am running Windows 8.1 and it has work for about a year, and now I can't seem to get any customer support.

Here's an alternative. Click-and-hold on this link - http://icloud.com - and drag it to the Desktop. Rename the resultant file iCloud. Move it to anywhere convenient. Then drag it to the right-hand side of the Dock. Now you have one-click access to the iCloud website.
If you would like a pretty icon, then before you move it to the Dock, drag this image to the Desktop:
Open it in Preview and hit command-A then command-C
Now click on your 'iCloud' file and hit command-I. In the pane which opens click on the icon at top left once to select it:

How do I prevent "are you sure?" pop-up when trying to exit a web page?

The "are you sure you want to leave this page?" pop up whenever I try to exit a web page is driving me crazy. There must be a way to prevent it but I've found no solution. One reply to the forum called it the "onbeforeclose" and suggested it might be eliminated in the "about:config" part of Firefox, but searching "about:config" I found no such entry. What can be done to stop this highly irritating pop up and prevent it from ever appearing again?

My problem is that none of the suggestions other than completely shutting off JAVA will stop the problem.
It is very annoying to go to a site and try to leave, and even try closing the browser and not be allowed to due to a running script.
The only way I have found out of it is to unplug the internet connection, and restart the computer. When I get the prompt about oops etc about not knowing what to do either go back to the site that gave me the problems or start over. I start over, then connect the internet.
I and others should not need to go though this with ransomeware such as the FBI attack that says it will unlock your system for $200. Or the numerous infomercials that also will no let me and many others go. This problem is also in Internet Explorer, and a few other browsers.
What does it take to keep these scripts from allowing people to leave a page or close the browser? Me and many more want to know, and because the problem exists I have OPERA as a backup browser as it does not get hijacked, but it does not have the ability to have the features and add ons that are available for FireFox.

I recently added a contact form, using google's re-captcha, to my Muse website.
I pasted the site key and secret keys into the form.
Also pasted the script code in the Head tag, <script src='https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js'></script>.
And pasted the form code just above the send button, at the end of the form code.

The form does not send any messages to my email address, and I have 2 re-captcha input boxes, the code above, puts the re-captcha box behind the name and email input text fields.

I really wish the Apple team would fix this. It's one of those nagging things that was overlooked, I would imagine, and no one but musicians that perform would notice.
Anyway, my workaround is this. I just put a really long silent space at the end of the song giving me time to stop it before it loops.
