I do music tutorials using Logic Pro 8.
I have just become a youtube partner.
I have approx 75 vids all very similar fashion to each other. The problem is only 20 of the video tutorials were accepted into the revenue sharing partner program. For what it is worth I have noticed a similar issue from the iPad3 while at work and home. At work we have two Apple TV 3rd Generation installed and tied to our A/V system. I believe the issue has to do with a timeout on the broadcast saying "here I am" and allowing devices to connect.
For example:
At work we have several Wi-Fi SSID being broadcast from Cisco APs. The only one we can use with the Apple TV is the one that uses a WEP since the others are either setup to be hidden, require web page authentication, or have a login requirement from employees. Essentially, what I believe the issue is that the Apple TV periodically broadcasts a message to other iOS devices that support Mirroring. When the Apple TV does not get a response from a device it goes into a dormant mode and requires either a command from the remote control or a reboot. This has been tested with both the power management enabled and not enabled with the same results.
As for when I come home, the Apple TV3 has not seen the device in some time and therefore is not broadcasting it's location information. A simple click of the circle or menu keys on the remote will give it the command to start broadcasting again and allow the iPad3 to see the Apple TV. When trying to Home Share the computer can not play (iTunes 11, Win8RTM) until the Apple TV is awoken then it will show up for mirroing.
This may or may not assist you but, it hopefully explains how the issue may be happening.

How are you supposed to get help from Apple if you don't know what your serial number is? They say to input the serial number of the "product" that you are asking about. Since my problem is how to deauthorize/authorize computers, and they are saying I have more than 5 (which I have never owned more than 5 computers in my life), I can't imagine what serial number they mean. Does it mean your desktop computer? If so, which one? Do they mean your device? LIke your iPhone, iPod or whatever? Do they mean the software ON one of your computers and/or devices? If so, which program, and on which computer/device?
We have three operational computers, one does not have iTunes on it. Since Apple is saying I have more than 5 authorized computers, and I can't imagine what they are, I am afraid to deauthorize all my computers. See what I mean? I just wanted to ask the question about how I can find out WHICH computers Apple thinks I have authorized, so I can decide if it's safe to deauthorize them all or not. I only know of 2 computers that have iTunes on them, so how can there be 5? We also have 2 iPhones and 2 iPods in this family, but one of the iPhones has his own apple id. He may have been using mine, since his computer died. I read that those don't count as "computers" to the 5. Do they, then?
Help! I can't contact apple because I have no idea what they mean about serial number. I doubt they would help me anyway. In order to get the serial number off my desktop computer (that has iTunes on it already), I will have to move furniture, so I don't want to if that's not it. Is there some way to find the serial number in the software, either on my desktop or my iPhone?

You could have more 5 computers authorized if you ever, for example, reformatted a hard drive or replaced a hard drive without deauthorizing the computer first. Apple's system would see that as a different computer, even though you don't. There's nothing to be afraid of in deauthorizing everything and the reauthorizing what you actually have. You won't lose any data. Mistimp is correct, they can't tell you which computers are authorized.

I have a Hashtable containing key-value pairs, I need to get the keys in the same order as I use
method put(key,value) to save the key-value pairs. But I can only find Hashtable.keys() to fetch the keys in form of Enumeration and when retrieve the keys from the Enumeration,they are not in the original order!
The following is my code:
Hashtable ht = new Hashtable();
ht.put("Name","Harry Bott");
ht.put("Gender","Male");
ht.put("Age","25");
String[] Items = new String[ht.size()];
Enumeration e = ht.keys();
int i = 0;
while(e.hasMoreElements()) {
Items[i++] =(String)(e.nextElement());
The Items contains the keys but they are not in the original order.
Does anyone know how to get the keys from a Hashtable in the same order when they're put?

yeah, another solution is to stored keys on a Collection at the same time you put them on the HashMap with its values.
Then when ur going to retrieve objects from the Map u iterate the Collection that has the ordered keys and use them.

New to Firefox. Running Mac Leopard and needed Firefox because a business website running a business replay podcast did not recognize Safari.
So far so good. I actually prefer Firefox to Safari now.
One little thing. Every time I browse the web and open a PDF file it "automatically" sends it to my download file and I therefore have the file "saved" . WELL, I don't necessarily want to save to my download file every PDF file that I open. I just want to open a PDF file, do a quick read and move on to more browsing. How do I stop Firefox from saving to my downloads every PDF file that I open? Is there some kind of setting I can adjust?

If you ever need to download a list of things, firefox can select a vertical column using the Cmd key, unlike Safari.
I have DownLoadThemAll installed and I can select a vertical group of files, right-click them and using DLTA, I can DL them to any location. With Safari, I would have to do this one-at-a-time.

nope, not clicking the down arrow. I have been getting a rediculous amount of junk emails, as i was cleaning up my address book i notices many of the same "junk" email addresses in there with bogus names.
I remember old school email, before apple mail, there was a check box to click to automaticly add all emails sent or recieved to your contacts. I looked and cant find anything like that today.

How Do I Get Help From Apple?

I have a 1st generation iPhone. I love the product but I am having problems with it since 2.0. I setup the phone to work with an Exchange Server, in "PUSH" mode a 100% charged battery is consumed in less than 2 hours!! Switching to "FETCH" with a 15 minute interval solves the battery problem, but is NOT PUSH. Furthermore, once every few days the Mail application appears to get stuck communicating with the Exchange Server (in the FETCH mode) and very quickly again consumes the battery. I pull the phone out of my pocket, the the battery which was fully charged that morning is DEAD!! This situation renders the iPhone unreliable since I cannot count on the battery lasting the entire day.
I have posted this problem to the message board and have reveived some feedback that other are also experencing this problem, but it appears to not be wide-spread. I was hoping that Apple was going to address the issue in 2.01 or 2.02, but neither rectified the problem.
How to I go about getting Apple's ear on this problem?

Your best bet is to either call Applecare and discuss the problem with them (if you are still under warranty or under Applecare), or make an appointment with a genius at your local Apple Store. You can try leaving feedback at:

I’m not sure there is raw support for your Sony model and you don’t say which Kodak you have. But for jpegs Lightroom will normally work.
For your existing photos it would usually be necessary to export versions to the desktop or create new folders in Finder. Those duplicates will contain the editing adjustments you have already made and can be imported into Lightroom using “Add” in the import dialog.

Why when we ask questions we never get help from Apple support.....is this just for other people's comments and answers? Cause the two questions I have are still not resolved so how do we get help from Apple?

I have posted two problems I am having on my iPad and I posted them sometime back. One how copy paste aren't working and how my microphone will not transcribe when I use it for email. Yet even though these were both posted months ago I still have no resolution. So i guess this is just for us to complain about our problems and sometime some one posts an idea, but they don't work. So Apple never offers us or helps us with these problems? Just trying to see if this is worth using as I thought Apple helped us!

For the copy/paste issue ...
Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
