If you have already purchased the iOS versions of these applications, they will appear in your "Purchases" list in the app store. Register your iPad with the same Apple ID as was used for the purchase, and you will be able to download and install it on the iPad (and on any other iOS device registered under the same Apple ID).
Wayne's response applies if your previous purchase was the Mac OS X version of Numbers and Pages.

I just purchased CS6 and downloaded onto the new iMac I just bought. I cannot get it to open. I think I may have purchased a windows version in error. When I clicked on "DesignStandard_CS6_LS16.exe I am told the application can't open because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on OS X. Does anyone know how to contact Adobe directly? I keep going around and around on their site and have found no e-mail or phone number to contact them to get this straightened out. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks so much out there for any assistance!

You will have to purchase iWork (or the individual apps) for your Mac. The apps you purchased for the iPad are only for iOS.

Upgrading the OS does not remove your apps and purchases.

How can I get EVERY music file on my iPod onto my new Mac, not just the songs purchased off of the iTunes store?

I have the original IPAD, otherwise known as planned obsolescence. I have been getting update notices for Numbers and Pages but no matter what I do cannot get the update.   Finally today it says my IPad is not compatible?

I have an original IPAD, which I am beginning to call "Planned Obselescence" I am constantly notified when opening Numbers and Pages that I have an update. However, when I try to update it wil not allow it. It tells me to go to ITunes, which I have done, and still it will not download it, saying that my IPAD is not compatible.   All of this if fine if Apple wishes to do things this way, but I just want to stop being notified every time to update it, if I am not going to be allowed to do so.

The updates for Numbers and Pages are perfectly compatible with the iPad 1. I'm not sure what you are doing; perhaps a better explanation of what you are seeing is needed.

They show up in my iTunes on my computer, but they're absent from my 'purchases' in the iTunes store. This angers me greatly. I do not want to buy them again, that's ridiculous. How do I get them to show up again on my iPod?? Thanks in advance.

I got Creative Suite 5 in 2010, downloaded it from Adobe.com onto my Late 2006 iMac (OS X 10.7.5 Lion). I am buying a newer (it's a year and half old now) iMac (OS X 10.7.5 Lion) from a friend. I have my serial number for CS5. How can I get my CS 5 Applications also onto my new iMac?
1) Is there a place on Adobe.com where I can download CS5 after inserting my number?
2) Is there some other way?
I am not technically experienced, so any simple-step guide is welcome.

In my experience, Adobe's record-keeping has an inconsistent and less than helpful approach for managing details of my past orders. It's a crapshoot at times so I've stopped relying on them for my downoads and serial numbers.
I have always found the prodesigntools link to work reliably for downloads so you should be OK with that, provided you have got your serial number. But I do keep my own multiple backups of everything I purchase online.

My old computer, and external that I had everything backed up on broke. Majority of my music I got from burning CD's that I no longer have. How can I get all my music on my iPod onto my new iTunes?

Like I said, my back up broke and I can't get all of my music back by transfering purchases because I burned a lot of CD's I had collected from the past. I don't have any of those CD's anymore, so how can I get all of my music onto my new iTunes? Or am I just S.O.L.?
