How do I get my iPad's email accn to synch with the rest of my devices.

I have wowway email - I have already changed my POP3 to IMAP. My iPhone and iMac work fine. Deletes work fine, sents etc. I have already tried to delete my email accn on the iPad and reenter as well as rebooted the iPad. don't know what else to do.

There is a mechanical switch in the headphone port.
Try inserting and removing the headphones several times to unstick it.
If that does not work, visually inspect the port for obstructions(ie belly button lint), try blowing port out with compressed air.

Leave Mail running, but close its window (click red dot or ⌘W).
Right-click the Mail icon and use "Options" to enable "Open at Login". In the "Login Items" tab of "Users & Groups" system preference, check the "Hide" box next to Mail so it doesn't open a window when starting.

Are you aware it only syncs iMessages. Also once enabled only new messages will sync, try messaging the user from the Mac and see if that gets things going for you.

Using the System.out.format, how do I print out the value of a double such that it looks exactly like it does if it were print from a System.out.println.
For example, take the following code:
double d = 12.48564734342343;
System.out.format("d as format: %f\n", d);
System.out.println("d as sout: " + d);Running the code, I get:

d as format: 12.485647
d as sout: 12.48564734342343

The precision of d has been lost.
I could bump up the precision as follows:
double d = 12.48564734342343;
System.out.format("d as format: %.14f\n", d);
System.out.println("d as sout: " + d);That appears to work, I get:

d as format: 12.48564734342343
d as sout: 12.48564734342343

However, that solution fails if d has a different precision, say 12.48. In that case I get:

d as format: 12.48000000000000
d as sout: 12.48

So how do I get System.out.format to print out doubles with the same precision as System.out.println?

It's worth remembering that, unlike the Format hierarchy, 'format()' is NOT native to Java. I am simply looking for a way to quickly print out multiple variables on a sysout while debugging. I want it as syntactically sweet as possible. System.out.println can be a pain when outputting multiple variables like the following:
"System.out.println("a: " + a + "; b:" + b + "; c: " + c);"
For some reason, my fingers always typo the plus key.
I was hoping that System.out.format would be easier,along the lines of:
"System.out.format("a: %f, b: %f, c: %f\n", a, b, c);"
From a syntactical sweetness point of view, it is easier. However, the %f on doubles truncates the precision. I figured there must be a way to get the full precision.
DecimalFormat is syntactically sour for this purpose, as you need to instantiate the DecimalFormat.

check if this helps
go to the computer where the printer is installed
on that computer click on start and go to devices and printers and right click on the printer and left click on printer properties
click on the sharing tab and you have a check box make sure the box is checked.
once this is done your printer is shared now you can go to your entertainment pc click on devices and printers and and you will see this printer.

How do you configure multiple PXIe chassis to share Tclk synch with the 6672 timing module?

I have two PXIe chassis, each with a number of digitizers (configured through NI-SCOPE). Each chassis has a PXIe 6672 timing module. I have downloaded the sample VI from:

My question is this: in the VIs at the above link (and in fact all VIs I've seen for using the 6672 for sharing triggers), the VI needs access to the resource identifiers for both Master and Slave timing modules, how do I access the (remote) slave resource identifier from the master chassis? I feel like I'm missing something obvious, but can I do this using just an ethernet connection, or do I need another module to enable the master chassis to view the devices on the slave chassis in MAX?

Those example VIs are written to be used when a single host PC is controlling multiple chassis so there is just one computer running the program. Since both of your chassis have their own controllers it will be necessary to run a program on each (one as master, the other as slave). You can modify the code from that example to create and Master and Slave VIs. For the Master you will call the VIs as specified in case 0 of the example; for the Slave you will call the VIs as specified in the default, 1 case of the example.
You will also want to send a signal from the Master to the Slave to let the Slave know that the clock is being generated. You could use TCP/IP or a PFI line to do this. The basic order of events should be as follows:
1. VI runs on Slave to configure it to accept a clock.
2. VI runs on Master to begin outputing the clock.
3. Master sends a signal to Slave to let it know that the clock is being generated.
4. Continue with the rest of your program.

You want to make sure your printer has the latest firmware installed to support airprint. You can find that software by navigating your control panel on the printer to updates.
Once this has been performed it should be viewable as an Airprint compatible device through the ipad.
You can also download the ePrint Home & Biz app for free from the apple catalogue and use that method as well with much the same result, as well as online management capabilities on the printer.

How can I get a start-time modified song to play with the modification on my ipad2? The sync shows the modification.

I shortened a song in my PC iTunes music library by using "get info" options and start time. The change shows up in my PC iTunes library for the song and after syncing, in my ipad2 music library when hooked up via USB. The song plays at original length on my ipad2. Weirdly enough, after syncing with my iPod, the song plays at the shortened length on the iPod. A previous sync with the ipad2 sent the shortened version to the iPad with no problems. The next time I synced, and 50 times later, all I got was the long version. It's a trivial matter but I need the song for a slide show presentation at a high school and the first few seconds of the song feature an expletive that I obviously can't use. Help! This is maddening.

AppleTV works in several ways.
For material purchased in iTunes you can play it from the internet if your connection is good enough under Movie/TV Show Purchased sections on the unit itself without a computer on.
For material downloaded or added to iTunes library, the best way to play is to Home Share and for apple TV to pull the compatible stream across to play using iTunes as a helper app.
Apple TV cannot play media that is not part of an itunes library (though the media for the itunes library can be stored in several locations) directly, nor can it access network storage to do so.
If you are playing media files which are not part of an iTunes library on a MacBook Pro and want to mirror the screen to the TV you need to use Airplay mirroring on the Mac (if it's new it should be capable, older ones aren't). Some applications will be prevented from mirroring presumably for copyright reasons (eg DVD player app), but VLC may work. You have probably used Airplay or `Airplay mirroring from iPad - I'm not keen on Airplay personally, but I've had AppleTVs since the days when this was never an option and it could only stream or sync from itunes (syncing no longer possible in newer units).

Music and apps are not part of the backup that itunes performs at all.
You should be transferring all purchases to your computer regularly. Did you fail to do this?
