When downloading a CD album, if it contains different artists, the album is split up into separate albums/icons. How do I get all songs into one album (just like the original CD)?
Generally, in iTunes, all you need to do is fill in an appropriate Album Artist to keep things together. For older iPods each track from the same album should have the same artist, or be marked as a compilation where appropriate. For iOS devices you may need to go to Settings > Music > Group By Album Artist > On.

Now I have change the Apple ID by my name and I wanted to update the apps and I can't remember if the apps were free or not, and I don't want to delete them without knowing if they are free.
When you buy an app the app is permanently allocated to the AppleID account you bought it through. You can then download that app on up to five devices, as many times as you want, without buying it again. So deleting an App is not a big problem, you just log into your account in iTunes again, find the app, and instead of showing you a 'BUY' button it shows you a 'DOWNLOAD' or 'INSTALL' button.
If you change the AppleID account you use in your iPad then Apple will think you sold the iPad to someone else, and all the apps with that name will stop working anyway.
But you can change the name and email address for an AppleID account, without moving to a new AppleID account, by following these instructions:

Got a new email address, changed my account on itunes to new email address. which changed my apple id and password. Works fine on computer but My phone is still asking me to sign in with old apple id. I can not figure out how to change apple id on my phone. Now that I am using it as an external drive, how do I get the harddrive I removed from my laptop to display like it did when it was still in the laptop , when I connect it to a new computer?. How do you get a cfwindow to update a query on the origin page
I can't seem to get my head around this problem. I've got an accounting app where I want to add a new bill and if I type in a vendor who is not yet in the database I want to pop up a window to record the new vendor information, then return to the add bill page and continue with the information i've entered so far. I've tried cfwindows, but they don't seem to actually submit to the database, and even so, when I return to the origin page all typed data is cleared. Even a pointer towards a solution would be great. Sorry if the problem is spelled out well.
Why do it with a pop-up, when you can do it without? You could do it as follows.
Make, for example, Vendor name an autosuggest input field. When the user types, Coldfusion fetches the matching name from the database, if any exists. The bind attributes ensure that Coldfusion will automatically fill in the ID that corresponds to a matching name, and eventually the product that corresponds to the vendor name and ID.
If no such match exists, then you know the vendor is new. In that case, the application will add the new vendor. You may also choose to update, for example, the name or product of a vendor.

You are trying to watch the movies in the videos app .... Correct?
If you are getting a black screen in the videos app, here are several things that you can try.
Quit the app completely and then try try again.
Go to the home screen by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the videos app. Tap the home button again. Lanch the videos app and see if the movies will play.
If that didn't help, try a reset.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Sometimes this will work ....
Swipe to the right from your first home screen to get to the iPad Spotlight search. Type in the name of any of your movies in the field at the top. When the movie appears in the search - tap on it and it should start to play. Let it play for a minute or so - hit done - go back to videos app and see if all is OK. -
We have two Iphone 4 handsets. I updated first handset with IOS5 and activated Icloud with my existing Itunes account details - no problems. I then did the same on the second handset and instead of setting up a different Icloud account for the second hanset I mistakenly used the same details as on the first handset and merged the contacts thinking it would add all contacts to both handsets but it instead replaced contacts from first handset with those from the second handset.
How do I get back my contacts from the first hanset?
I read somewhere Icloud saves the last 3 backups which suggests all my contacts that have disappeared are somewhere but how do i find them ???

2. Person A uses the same purchasing account for everything (ie. email, contacts and ...).
3. Person B have the same purchase account see no. 1 (for App Store and iTunes Store) but create a second AppleID for iCal, e-mail, contacts and etc. -
Could it be so that I have deleted the old AppleID? All applications are still on the device, but I cant get them on new device. When I try to create a new id with an old email, it doesnt allow saying that the address is already occupied. It means the ID exists, but I cant get in... (I was trying to change address, just dont know if I succeed or not.)

1. Sign into appleid.apple.com with your current ID.
2. Edit the primary email to the one requested. (You DO NOT need to verify the old email.)
3. Sign out of iCloud on any device using the old ID.
4. Edit the primary email (on appleid.apple.com) back to the desired email address.
5. Verify that email address.
6. Sign into iCloud with the correct email.
As for anyone that is unable to verify their account due to not receiving the verification email, contact apple support for further assistance. -

You had to sync those photos to your phone to get them there in the first place. How did you manage to do that without being able to find the photo tab? Syncing photos is not on by default - you had to go to the photo tab to check it.
