How do I get my playlist from my computer to my iPhone, it doesn't move over when I sync.

How do I get my playlist from my computer to my IPhone? Syncing doesn't seem to do it?

If you're manually managing your content, make you're you've checked playlists to sync.

How do I get my ring tones from my computer to my iPhone?

Here are some instructions I found from this other post:
    1. Open iTunes and make sure that your iPhone is connected to your computer.
    2. Click on DEVICES -> APPS -> scroll down to FILE SHARING -> highlight the tones you wish to sync -> click on the SAVE TO button at the bottom and save this, for easy access, to a file (maybe title it My Ringtones) on your desktop.
    3. Go back to LIBRARY -> and drag your tones, from your desktop file, to the (bell icon) TONES (this took the place of the RINGTONES tab under DEVICES -> APPS, if you are not showing this icon then go to EDIT -> PREFERENCES -> GENERAL tab and make sure that the TONES box is checked).
    4. Click on the arrow just left of the name of your device. You will see a list of folders.
    5. Drag your ringtones to the (bell icon) TONES.
    6. Check on your iPhone -> Settings -> Sounds and the new ringtones should be at the top.

  • HT201272 How can I get audiobooks transferred from my computer to my iPhone?

I purchased a few audiobooks from the iTunes store in the hopes of listening to them on a very long roadtrip. No matter what I try, I can't get them to sync onto my phone. I'm using a MacBook Pro and a iPhone 4.
I've tried creating a playlist for Audiobooks, plugging in my phone and syncing. Didn't work.
Audiobooks aren't available on the Cloud.
So far, the only thing I know to do is download again which I will be charged for. Please help. Leaving in an hour.

Syncing should work fine, check memory if iPhone still have enough to cover audibook.
Otherwise, contact iTunes to get another copy so that you don't need to pay twice then download it directly to your iPhone.
Well, that's if you still have enough time.

  • How do I get my playlists to show in a new itunes account? Will they transfer when I sync my iphone?

I move my old itunes account from a dead PC. My purchased songs are there but not in playlists. My Iphone still has the playlists, but don't know if they will transfer to itunes.

I actually pulled all my data from my old hard drive over to my new computer. The itunes account was all there but just no playlists. Even the purchased music is there but mixed in. I just do not want to resort all the music.

Hello and welcome to the support community
As you know, your iPhone 5 is not compatible with our iBook G4. To get your music in iTunes from your iBook to your iPhone you would need to migrate the music files to a newer intel based Mac. A Mac which has Mac OS X 10.6 or higher installed. Then sync your iPhone 5.

  • How do i copy a playlist from my ipod to my iphone or ipad?

I have been trying to copy playlists from my iPod to my iPhone and iPad, but the only music that syncs is purchased music.  How do I get my other music on my other devices?  I have had the iPod for a while (classic) and just recently purchased the iPhone and iPad, so I am a newby.  Suggestions from other boards that i have tried have been unsuccessful.

Is this non-iTunes store purchased in your iTunes library? If so, simply configure it to sync to your iPhone and iPad the same way it is set up to sync to your older iPod.
If this other music is only on your older iPod and not in iTunes, you'll need to get it there first before you can sync it to the other two devices. See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

    Hey there rmflint,
It sounds like you are wanting to update the Apps that were synced over from your computer to your new iPhone 5s. If you are clicking Updates in the App Store in the bottom right corner, would you mind clarifying what happens when you are trying to update them?
